Alright, so let me give a quick story real quick.

Last year, back when I wasn't very known on twitch that well, i decided to do a fun steam with friends. We had played Minecraft and I decided to have song requests on. Someone came in to my stream and decided to have “fun” and post deliberately loud videos. Decided they were just a troll so I banned em. Suddenly, about 10-15 people were posting the same garbage. I didn't really know what the hell was going on, but for some reason I didn't feel like ending stream.
"Where the hell are all of these guys coming from lol", I went. It seems someone, no idea why, no idea who, decided to post my stream on 4Chan (/b/). They posted the thread as "This asshole's playing Minecraft and doing song requests, fuck his day up."
Unfortunately I had no idea who in the world would do this; at the time I had no grudges with anyone. When I saw the thread, people then started to post personal info. My IRL name, my IP (I knew it was correct immediately when I read it), and my street address. After the address, they followed up their message by adding "lmao guess we're gonna seat you now kid". I didn't know if they were fucking around or being serious, but for that past month I was fucking terrified. Luckily, nothing had happened.


Now, to last night. I was having a drink or two, and just playing some SA2 Mod ILs with a few friends on Discord. About 15 minutes into the stream, I had a text from my phone, going "yo, your mother, [my mom's name], was great in bed dam"
I initially thought it was a friend of mine just messing around. About five minutes later, some users I've never heard of started naming me going back and forth with my IRL first name, or last name. I decided to just play it cool, despite being a bit worried. Like what they're saying was a bit irrelivant and random. Suddenly, I see my phone number be posted in stream. I banned the users posting jt, and then I see my parents Facebook's being posted. I was starting to get freaked the hell out, and being a bit drunk was making it worse tbh. Then I see my Facebook being posted, along with my IP again). I didn't wanna try to keep this bullshit going any longer. I immediately ended stream. Doing so, about 30 or so alt accounts came in spamming all of the info. Accounts made no less than 40 seconds ago. I had to sit there for about 10-15 minutes and wait for them to stop. They eventually did.
So... what happened?...I don't know. I checked 4Chan. There were no threads with my URL in there, so it wasn't posted there. I Advance Searched my URL on Google, but I had no success. Again, I have no grudges with anyone, so I have no indication as to whom would do this to me.

Now, did I take any action this time?...No. I decided to only do so if I'm threatened. Though, this wasn't exactly far from it if I continued stream. I did delete the VOD though, so the info wasnt sitting inside.

With this said, I'm going to lay low of streaming for a couple weeks. When this happened last year I did not expect it to happen again. I'll still be doing runs, but only in local recording.
