Need 2 cores / vcores and 2Gb of RAM. I recommend 4Gb.

## Hosting a dedicated Valheim server on linux debian

apt-get update -y
apt-get upgrade -y

mkdir /opt/steam
mkdir /opt/steam/valheim

apt-get install lib32gcc1

adduser steam

su -ls /bin/bash steam
cd ~

wget https://steamcdn-a.akamaihd.net/client/installer/steamcmd_linux.tar.gz
tar xf steamcmd_linux.tar.gz

./steamcmd.sh +quit

exit

## logged back as root

chown steam:steam -Rf /opt/steam

## log back as steam user

su -ls /bin/bash steam
cd ~

## Install the server files

./steamcmd.sh +login anonymous +force_install_dir /opt/steam/valheim +app_update 896660 validate +exit

exit

## logged back as root

nano /etc/systemd/system/valheim.service
