  1. Biological Gender: Female
  2. Full Personality: Yuuken is extremely protective and stubborn. They’ve dedicated their life to protecting others and they refuse to allow a killing game to beat them. She’s determined to remain professional. Although other students may be older than her, she still puts herself in a position of authority because she considers herself most qualified under the circumstances. In addition, she tends to seperate people between “patients” and “non-patients”, where she refuses to emotionally connect to patients. Because she has decided that she must remain in “EMT Mode” during the killing game in order to minimize injury and death, Yuuken is under a lot of stress and bottles up her emotions. During the killing game, they establish a rule banning any student from entering areas they consider dangerous, such as if there’s a pool or incinerator anywhere. As the killing game goes on, Yuuken begins seeing her classmates as potential patients rather than classmates.
  3. Full Backstory: When Yuuken Nagamatsu’s younger brother was born, he was a normal, healthy baby boy. But at age three, when Yuuken was only five, a head injury lead to his first seizure. In the following years he suffered frequent and violent seizures, which if left untreated could permanently disable or even kill him. While he was at home, his parents knew how to care for him, but once they began life at school, Yuuken realized that most adults couldn’t see the signs of a seizure or provide emergency care on time. They became familiar with ambulance rides and frequently, Yuu was the one administering first aid before the paramedics arrived. As they both grew older and Yuu’s little brother was given a personal caregiver to accompany him to school, Yuu pursued their dream to become an EMT. Their prior knowledge and unwavering determination have made her the youngest EMT in Japan to date. As a child, Yuu rarely had the opportunity to be immature. They felt that the adults around them were incapable and useless, so they became their brother’s sole guardian (in their mind). She chose to become an EMT because she believed she was the only one qualified for the job, that it was her duty to help others. She holds a deep distrust for figures of authority other than herself because as she grew up, those figures of authority always disappointed her and proved themself incapable of caring for her younger brother. They are deeply dutiful and feel compelled to be the perfect EMT.
  4. Biggest Secret: Because of the stress their job causes, Yuuken developed insomnia and has become addicted to sleep medecine and is no longer able to sleep without it.
  5. Biggest Fear: Being the cause for their brother’s death.
  6. Most Important Person: Her little brother, without a doubt. He is the person she must protect the most.
  7. Likes: Calmness, being prepared for any eventuality, soft things (such as teddy bears).
  8. Dislikes: Condescending people/behavior, failure, panic.
  9. Skills useful in a killing game:
  10. Due to their sense of duty, Yuuken is compelled to be prepared all the time. As a result, they carry around a first-aid kit. In other words, they are prepared for a medical emergency at all times, both physically and mentally.
  11. Yuuken is used to emergencies and can remain calm despite witnessing injury or death.
  12.
  13. Strengths:
  14. Yuuken is stubborn and unlikely to deviate from their moral code even under stress.
  15. Yuuken is hard-working and knowledgeable when it comes to biology.
  16. Yuuken is genuinely kind and caring.
  17.
  18.
  19. Weaknesses:
  20. Yuuken is unlikely to open up emotionally to others when in a stressful situation in an attempt to remain in control. As a result they will likely make few friends and will be prone to breaking down.
  21. Yuuken will not deviate from their personal moral code even when it puts them in danger.
  22. Yuuken tends to tunnel vision, meaning they might miss the obvious if they are treating someone (for example, in an effort to save a victim they could miss an important clue as to the identity of the killer).
  23. 5 (or more) Monocoin machine items:
  24.
  25. (Loved) - A Plush Dinosaur: Soft and heavy, this plush smells faintly of lavender and exudes a calming atmosphere.
  26. (Liked) - Used Notebook: This notebook is half-filled with scribbles about anything from appointments, to research, to diary entries.
  27. (Liked) - Scented Soap: This brightly colored bar of soap smells of citrus, and contains a small rubber duck which can be discovered only after having used the soap enough for it to peek through.
  28. (Disliked) - Dirty Rubber Gloves: These gloves leave the user clumsy and unfashionable. Useful for keeping your hands clean, but whatever you’re touching will likely get covered in whatever strange substance is coating them.
  29. (Hated) - Empty Pill Bottle: The label has been partially torn off and the rest has been scribbled out.
  30. Investigation Behavior: At first, Yuuken will focus on attempting CPR on the victim, unless the body shows signs of decay or the head is separated from the body (they choose to ignore the body discovery announcement because they do not trust the mastermind to tell the truth). If they confirm the body is dead they will proceed to guard the corpse and analyze things such as cause and time of death. They remain calm and become determined to discover what happened.
  31. Trial Behavior: During trials Yuuken is likely to remain quiet unless they start discussing the cause or time of death, in which case they will contribute their findings. They discourage making assumptions and is likely to deny anyone being voted guilty until all details are accounted for. In addition, she encourages the questioning of any information given by Monokuma/the mastermind, as she believes they could very well be lying to throw them off the scent. Yuuken is hesitant to accuse anyone but also determined to know the truth.
  32. Likeliness to be a victim (1-10) and why: 6 - Their emotional distance may incite others to dislike her, and she may be alone frequently. In addition her adherence to her morals makes her slightly predictable so she could be tricked into putting herself in danger for the sake of others. However, she is physically strong and reasonably intelligent and therefore unlikely to be seen as an easy target or to insight anger in others.
  33. Likeliness to be a culprit (1-10) and why: 3 - Yuuken has a powerful moral code which they uphold under any circumstances and so they would categorically refuse to commit violent acts unless they were lead to believe it would somehow end the game to the benefit of the majority.
  34. Could they be the traitor and why?: Most likely not unless they saw it as a chance to save the maximum number of people, as their morals are absolute.
  35. Could they be the mastermind and why?: No. Yuuken has no motive to kill or harm others in their normal life (the only slight way I see her as the mastermind would be if she believed the killing game would somehow help the advancement of medicine and save lives)
  36.
  37. Answer these last three out of character
  38. Level of activity (1-10): I am in exam season, so a 4. However after May 25th you can expect an 8!
  39. Time zone: GMT (United States Mountain Time)
  40. Triggers: Animal death, nail gore, rping rape (or any non-consensual/dubiously consensual romantic/sexual acts).
