FoE PNP Group 57 Session 6

[06:28] <Qindeo> ***Group 57 Session 6 START***
[06:28] <Zyrlana> The group of you make your way through another heavy steel door, out to a landing pad covered with a thin layer of snow.  The wind howls over the flat land that stretches for miles, the echoing gunfire from the battle still ringing through the air.  The ground opens up, and a strange contraption rises out of the ground on a platform.

[06:32] * Kyva watches the strange contraption rise up. "Huh? Is a... what was this thing again?"
[06:34] * Zephyr cocks her head as she looks at the contraption.
[06:35] <Zyrlana> Zazi knows what it is!  It's an Equestrian Airforce Vertibuck, special ops edition!  Starry and the other unicorn hop into the front, a ramp lowering on the side to let the zebras in!
[06:36] * Zazi hums in thought as he cocks his head, examining the contraption. "It's a vertibuck," he nods matter-of-factually.
[06:36] * Qindeo grunts, and trots inside, not caring what it is.
[06:37] <Zephyr> "A... vertibuck? What does it do?" She's a little unsure whether or not to go inside.
[06:37] <Qindeo> "It flies."
[06:38] * Qindeo points at the big spinny rotors.
[06:38] * Zazi looks at Kyva, then to Zephyr before chuckling, nodding at Qindeo's observation. "Exactly."
[06:38] <Qindeo> "Now get in."
[06:38] * Kyva trots inside. "Is like carriage, it -- it flies!? Is flying carriage? -Working- flying carriage!?"
[06:39] * Zephyr shrugs, trotting inside as told..
[06:42] <Zyrlana> After some beeping and additional booping by the two pilots, the big engines on top start to whirl to life, the vertibird hovering off the ground!  Assuming Zen got in!
[06:43] * Grim is now known as Zen
[06:43] * Kyva looks around on the inside. It's a cargo transport. She's curious if it's just for carrying equines, or if there's anything else stored in it..
[06:44] * Zen looks nervousl;y at the machine.
[06:45] * Zephyr wonders if they have a medical box handy on the vertibuck...
[06:45] <Zyrlana> Right now it just seems to be just for carrying equines!
[06:46] * Qindeo grabs a hold of a roof strap as the the engines whir to life, and the Vert lifts off the ground.
[06:47] * Zazi glances around before clearing his throat a bit. "... Could someone ask our pilot if this thing has been uh... well maintained...?" he asks as calmly as he can.
[06:47] * Qindeo shrugs. "You can."
[06:48] * Zen is holding onto the most solid thing in the vertibuck, he looks terrified.
[06:48] * Zephyr 's legs start to shake the longer the vertibuck is in the air..
[06:49] * Qindeo is perfectly calm, relaxed even.

[06:50] * Kyva stands firm! She stands so firm. It's clearly freaking her out a bit too.
[06:50] * Zen is whimpering a little
[06:50] <Zyrlana> The heli starts to quickly pick up speed, and through the small windows, the mountains look like strange rolling scales on a dragon, with little snaking rivers between them all.  It seems you're flying over one of the much bigger rivers, with some kind of line beside it, though you can't make it out from your height.  You're going along pretty quick.
[06:51] <Kyva> "We are going so far from home now. I hope there is trip back..."
[06:52] * Zephyr barely manages to keep her balance.. her legs still very shakey and threatening to give at any moment.
[06:53] * Zen manages to not freak the fuck out but still clings on for dear life.
[06:54] * Zazi sits back with a sigh. "... Well, if it were going to crash, it probably would of done so by now..." he murmurs. It seemed sturdy and stable enough, at any rate... not that he'd flown before.
[06:54] * Qindeo lets go of the strap he was holding on to, and trots over to one of the windows, peering out.
[06:55] <Zen> "YOU ARE NOT HELPING ZAZI!"
[06:55] <Zyrlana> Qin picks the wrong time to look out the window, it seemed they were flying over an encampment, various horribly aimed RPG fire missing the aircraft by several yards.
[06:56] * Kyva stands stiffly in the middle of the cargo area. She's a stable object at least. She holds a hoof to Zephyr. "Hah... is fine.."
[06:56] <Qindeo> "Well, that's plesant. Hope this thing has good armor."
[06:56] * Zen is trying to think of happy thoughts... its not working!
[06:56] <Zen> "Why?"
[06:57] * Qindeo shrugs. "There's RPGs being fired at us." He states simply.
[06:57] * Zephyr grabs hold of Kyva's hoof, using it to help stablize herself. To and outsider, she's simply hugging Kyva's hoof.
[06:58] * Zazi just stares at Qin for a long time before grabbing hold of the nearest sturdily planted post, seat, panel or whatever.
[06:58] * Zen freaks the fuck out, "FUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUCK!GETMEOUTOFTHISFLKYINGMETALDEATHTRAP!FUCKINGGODSGETMETHEFUCKOUTOFTHISFUCKINGTHING!!!"
[06:58] <Zyrlana> Oddly, a red light comes on in the back, an odd high pitched buzzing coming from the cockpit.
[06:58] <Qindeo> "Now what could that be..."
[06:59] <Zen> "Red light genrally mean bad things."
[06:59] * Qindeo pokes his head into the cockpit. "Everything alright up here?"
[06:59] <Zen> *lights
[07:00] * Zephyr has zoned herself out, not wanting to freak out badly..
[07:00] <Kyva> "What is that? What does that mean? Zen medic, be silent so we can hear if we are going to die!"
[07:01] <Zyrlana> There's a loud clap against the bottom of the plane, which gives a violent shake, but it keeps its course, the red light turning off.  Starry says to Qin.  "Yeah, just flying over a Pacific encampment."  The mountains start up again, and Starry makes for a path to put one of them behind the plane and the encampment, which was starting to fade away by now.
[07:02] * Qindeo nods. "Good." He returns to the cargo area. "We're fine."
[07:02] <Zazi> (( Wait ))
[07:03] <Zazi> (( What happened to the language barrier? < < ))
[07:03] <Zephyr> (xD)
[07:03] * Zen has amused the fetal position.
[07:03] <Qindeo> (Aww shit)
[07:03] <Zyrlana> (Shit, forgot.  I'm really tired.)
[07:03] <Zephyr> (Robot translated it. Nuff said.)
[07:03] <Qindeo> (Uhh, THE ROBOT TRANSLATED. there)
[07:03] <Zephyr> (Ninja'd.)
[07:08] * Zazi slowly releases the post he was hanging onto, letting out a heavy, relieved sigh. "Where are we headed, anyway?"
[07:09] * Zephyr is still holding onto Kyva's leg tightly.
[07:10] * Kyva was the 'post' Zazi was hanging onto as well. She was pretty still though.
[07:13] * Zen is slowly rocking himself back and forth , whimpering.
[07:13] <Zyrlana> You hear another clap from behind, and some equestrian swearing from up front!  The plane starts to go down, but not severely,  it's a steady drop, but a drop non-theless.
[07:14] <Qindeo> "...I think we lost something."
[07:15] * Zen is still freaking out, "If the gods wanted me to fly i'd be a pegasus!..."
[07:16] * Zazi 's jaw drops at the change of events before he finally lets out a long groan, laying down on the floor and putting his hooves over his head.
[07:16] * Zephyr shuts her eyes and buries her face into Kyva side as the vertibuck starts dropping.
[07:16] * Qindeo sighs, heading back to the cockpit. "Now what happened?"
[07:17] * Zen begins crying like a foal.
[07:17] <Zyrlana> The plane hits the mountainside at an angle, ski landing gear making the plane slide down the mountain like a bob-sled.  "Syncho-logic is out on the rotors, they don't move together."
[07:17] <Qindeo> "OOF! Well fix it!"
[07:18] * Qindeo grabs onto the doorframe.
[07:18] * Zen hugs Kyva  and Zephyr and continues crying like a foal. He has really lost it...
[07:19] * Zephyr hopes that Kyva can remain sturdy... She tries to pat Zen's back a little.. though she wasn't feeling too good herself.
[07:19] * Kyva is crouched close to the floor, with two other zebras hugging her, thinking only about keeping steady.
[07:19] <Zyrlana> The plane finally comes to a stop at the base of the mountain.  The back end starts to fold out as the two unicorns get out of their seats.  "You guys cover us while we work on the repairs."  There was nothing in sight out the back of the plane except mountain as far as you can tell.
[07:21] * Zephyr takes a deep breath to ease her nerves. "Zen.. you okay..?"
[07:21] * Zen scrambles out the back befor its fully open and jumps in the snow, rolling around in it.
[07:21] * Qindeo grumbles something in the affirmative.
[07:22] <Zen> "Oh sweet Gaea please don't make me leave you ever again."
[07:22] * Zazi raises one hoof up as they come to a halt, blinking a couple of times before giving another sigh and getting up, trotting out of the back of the plane as calmly as he could... though it wasn't too convincing. He glances around before pulling out his varmint rifle, heading off to find a nice elevated spot to watch from.
[07:22] * Kyva slowly stands back up straight. "W-was that crash...? Crash is not as bad as I imagined."
[07:23] * Zen is makeing snow angels.
[07:23] <Zen> *alicorns?
[07:24] * Zazi ends up completely enamored with the thought of how he just almost died, completely unfocused on the task he was supposed to be doing.
[07:24] * Zephyr slowly stands herself and shakily exits the vertibuck... only to faceplant onto the hard metal, her legs finally giving now that they stopped.
[07:24] * Kyva trots out of the vertibuck. "Are you okay, Zephyr? I think Zen medic needs your help."
[07:24] <Zyrlana> "Not crash, emergency landing."  says the sandy unicorn as she starts to work magics on the plane.
[07:25] * Qindeo exits the Vert last, nimbly leaping on top of it.
[07:25] * Zephyr nods a little, "Just.. a little shaky..." She slowly gets back up, slowly trotting to Zen. "Zen.. you okay..?"
[07:25] <Zyrlana> This landscape is very different from what you're used to, completely flat with just one tiny mountain range that your plane was parked near, everything else is just fvast nothingenss/
[07:26] <Zyrlana> You may being it unusual that unicorn sandy is complete without clothing while fix the plane.
[07:27] * Zen blinks and shakily gets up, "um... yes... I... think i'm ok..." he brushes the snow off himself. "I am not getting back on that thing again..."
[07:28] <Zephyr> "Zen... you'll have to..."
[07:28] * Zen shakes his head, "No, i'll just walk to where ever we're going... from..." he looks around, "uh... where are we?"
[07:30] <Zephyr> "Um... Zeberian tundra maybe? And no, you're not walking."
[07:31] <Zen> "Then I will ride a bear back to civilization!!!"
[07:31] <Zyrlana> You are coming to know the sound of truck echo over the tundra.
[07:32] <Kyva> "Hah! Ziberian Bear Cavalry are just myth, Zen."
[07:32] <Qindeo> "Heads up. I think I hear a truck."
[07:32] * Zen flicks his ears and turns in the direction of the sound, "what is that noise?"
[07:33] * Zephyr shakes her head, "It'd probably maul you anyways..." She wiggles her ears a bit, looking around the tundra.
[07:34] * Kyva stands up front, and waits for any signs of where that vehicle was coming from.
[07:34] * Zazi is so zoned out that he doesn't even hear the truck.
[07:34] * Zen throws a snow ball at Zazi, "Hey, pay attention."
