He went astray from that path first by secretly going to guitar and piano lessons with his friends. He discovered his musical abilities when he was twelve and decided to take up more instruments and learned how to rap as he grew up. His parents had already accepted that Woojin won't be like them, so they were stricter to his sister. Woojin didn't like the fact that they're withheld by someone else's dreams, so he ushered his sister to join idol companies with him. He had trained in SM Entertainment, though when his sister switched to Moira Creative, he decided to follow her.
