>is taken to the other primarchs to help start up the great crusade
> things might be a little awkward for a week or two, but Vulkans bubbly nature earn him god relations with most of his brothers and sisters
>acts like their big brother, offering advice and trying to mediate fights when they happen. Not picking a side, but hearing both sides, their arguments and tries to make them reach and agreement (If not by chat, but by hugs)
>receives visions of some of his siblings turning to ruinous powers, gets told to stop them
>he ignores the visions advice and talks to his vulnerable brothers to see if he can coach them away from that path
>sanguin turns to chaos an leads the sangauin heresy
>Russ, Kruze and Vulkan are sent to help deal with some traitors on some planet
>drop sight massacre happens
>this this, Vulkan refuses to kill any of his brothers, and orders his legitimate to try and force the two sides apart and bring them to reason
>70% of salamanders are slaughtered by both sides
>massacre ends Nsd Vulcan emerges from the piles of dead
>Realises the truth of this civil war and remembers the code Nocturne raised him with
>paints his armour black with the ashes of his dead salamanders
>makes a vow to protect all humans, wether they be chaos or loyalist.
>vows to somehow stop the infighting of his siblings and reunite them
>goal: one humanity against all
>rallies his remaining salamanders, they travel the galaxy and hear the call of all those in need
>they do not ask for any payment, just do the good work, evacuating civilians and those who are tried of the infighting
>Vulkan approaches the Vostroyans and convinces them to join his cause, since they were a bit iffy
>the salamanders become urban legends across the galaxy
>a names cursed by loyalist and traitor primary alike.
>some of them clash with him when he appears
>but none can seem to best him, and he reuses to strike them down
>he will never strike down his kin, only hopes that they will one day come to theIr senses
