Allow me to preface this with a very clear declaration. I wholly and entirely disagree with your point of view, reasoning, and your wholehearted dismissal of this situation. This does not mean that I do not still respect your decision, and understand it's finality. It also does not mean that I harbor any ill will or aggression towards any parties involved. You are simply doing your job to the best of your ability as a neutral third party, and this is admirable.

Now that this is crystalline as running river water, allow me to countermand this with a hypothetical situation. Let's say you're chopping tree down. Some player comes along and takes your logs, and your pinecones, and then proceeds to burn nearby trees because one of your trees spawns a treeguard, and it might be dangerous for other players to go through, in their opinion. You cannot tell him, or it slips your mind to, that what he is doing is stealing and that you want those items. The reason is threefold. For one, you are too horrified that someone blatantly stole from you. Secondly, you simply cannot believe that someone would be so brash as to not see the wrong in what they are doing. And thirdly, they are just so rude that you instead are focused on their poor attitude.

I'm not sure about you, but to me, none of that sounds reasonable. I took the time to gather the flint and twigs to make that axe. I took my 15 swings worth of time to chop that large evergreen down. It's my wood by right, and I feel it ought to be the other way, that he shouldn't take unless I tell him he can, not the other way around. I shouldn't have to explicitly denote property, ownership is implied by effort and expenditure. By this logic, everyone should run around screaming "dibs!" on all things that they claim for utter fear of people freely being able to take it. Nevermind that wanton destruction of resources without permission, again, should not be something that's tolerated, in my opinion.
This phenomenon is much like taking an old lady's purse that she has set down somewhere. That old lady took the time to peruse many purses to find that one, took her hard earned cash to buy it, and henceforth put her personal effects into it. Just because she sat it down somewhere does not mean that action exhumes her of ownership.

Finally, I'd like to address the destruction of the killer beehives. Since it's very apparent that my previous effort at an explanation has either been brushed off or utterly missed, I shall lay it bare once more.

I had just spawned that day. Possessing no weapons or significant gear of any sort, I decided to search, as most sane people would. I found a peculiar setup where beefalo were quite close to killer beehives. Knowing how aggro works, I decided to lead the killer bees close to the beefalo and allow them to lose aggro, causing monster infighting. This would net me some easy honey, and if I persisted, some meat, to allow me free reign of my exploration.

Then this guy comes along, swipes some of my loot (the stingers were inconsequential, the honey was not, but it's the principle that counts), and then proceeds to, in general, be a knot on a log about it. Not only that, but it was very clear what I was doing, and he proceeds to deny me easy access to those resources, meaning I'd have to possibly, and dangerously lure the beefalo futher into the grassland to continue my harvest.
His reasoning? That these killer beehives were dangerous. All he had to do was keep walking past and not interfere, or wait until I was finished. Instead he disrupted my harvesting, and then outright stole my resources. They were mine by right. I put the effort into luring the two parties together and keeping aggro, and he was there to see that, as well. I should not have to convey such, it is implicit in what all can see. Beehives are little threat to those who do not stop moving, anyways. That reasoning is flimsy at best, and an outright excuse to troll, at worst.

As far as what I want out of this, I simply think that he needs to be reminded that the game does not revolve around him. He has a generally selfish attitude, and interactions with him have been poisonous at best. After declaring what I had told him before, I left to write the previous report. When I came back to the server, he continued to antagonize me by greeting me in a surreptitiously hostile manner. This is the toxicity I speak of. I've watched his interactions with other players, and he's not a very friendly person in general.

Addendum: I've noticed that you say that he never made any allegations as to my character choice. This is a flat out falsehood, and I'd like to address this. This smacks of negligence, and quite frankly, is an abasement towards me in general. He clearly mentions my character choice in chat @ 3:46 seconds. The direct quote is "says the willow".
I would like to think that I should not have to read between the lines for you, but seeing as how you have missed such a vital clue towards the allegations of toxicity, I shall be inclined to give my take on it. This individual apparently thinks that a willow reporting an instance of burning will be dismissed based upon his or her character choice an the reputation that it carries. This person did not count on me having something as damning as Shadowplay running. He was implying that there was no way I would be able to substantiate my claims. I'm not sure about you, but the fact that he acted this way, in conjunction with the mentioning by another in the server that he had been told not to do this prior in the same session, smacks of arrogance and toxicity. This was mentioned @ 4:00, with the direct quote of "i told him to stop". I would highly suggest you check the video again before blatantly and wrongfully accusing my claim of being false. Between you and I, that just looks unprofessional.

That was my primary issue.
I was using those beehives.
I had just joined the server, and he could have waited until I was done.
Instead he hops in, takes things that he has no business taking, and complicates my setup.
