- JaysonSunshine: I didn't state anybody had an argument if they were not vegan. I stated that veganism is the parent class of all ethical movements in human communities, and vegans are the ethical leaders of our species
- MeriAnimal: The same message over and over is spammng.
- JaysonSunshine: We agree on the definition. That never occurred.
- JaysonSunshine: I was typing quickly.
- JaysonSunshine: Buddhism is a non-violent organization, right. If the Dalai Lama advocates for violence, our first impulse should not be to remind him that violence can be bad. He's known to be highly skilled and thoughtful on the dangers of violence.
- JaysonSunshine: So, we should give deference to them, because of previously established competency, and hear their case. We can still disagree at the end.
- JaysonSunshine: Likewise, veganism is predicated on looking out of the interests of other beings who don't just have different skin colors or different religions, but entirely different shapes, ways of communicating, etc. A vegan who argues that some socially salient action is not as meaningful as it may appear is unlikely just blundering that 'blackface is bad'.
- JaysonSunshine: *They could still be wrong*, but we should give them deference, as they have established competency.
- JaysonSunshine: I've been a viewer of TYT for like four years, I come into the channel and try to speak with truth and justice, and I'm timed out.
