  56. My preschool period started at the year 2005. My first ever school I attended was actually at the Marian Formation Center. My teacher was a nun who went by the name "Sister Mameng". I just remember that I was a quiet boy during my preschool days. I only studied there for only year though. After that my family transferred me to the "Meridian International Learning Experience". It was very memorable because I remembered the very fun lessons and activities. One thing that also varied is that Meridian of course was "international" so they were also teaching us how to read and write mandarin.

  70. After one year in kinder, I finally was in grade school in Meridian. During this period, I went into a sport which is swimming. I can tell you it's not very eqsy balancing gradeschool life and swimming life. I went into swimming because it was a way for curing my asthma. In the elementary school at Meridian, they taught more complex mandarin characters, singaporean math (it was a type of math which uses block methods), PE(mostly comprised of just teaching us filipino folk dances. In my last year of grade school, our "final project" which you can say was we need to think of something that will help in the community in one way using our talents and hobbies. Our group came up an idea with an ebook which is in storybook format. It was about a special Philippine fish who lost her eggs and tries to find it. I came up with that idea because I was tired of storybooks being only about a person and his day to day duties. In the graduation or "moving up" ceremony, we presented the ebook in front of our parents and teachers and it was well received by nursery school teachers

  81. Finally I graduated Meridian and was looking for potential highschools. I was a competetive swimmer and can apply for scholarships which is pretty nice if you ask me. I first applied for the University of the Santo Tomas via the entrance test and the Varsity swimming tryouts. I actually passed the entrance test but failed the interview. I sadly also didn't got accepted into varsity. So I applied at my older sister's school which is UPIS.I applied like how I did in UST. The results of the entrance test came first and I wasn't surprised that I didn't pass because I knew UPIS had a reputation for having bright sudents. The results of the varsity try outs came out weeks later. I WAS ACCEPTED. I was so happy and I looked forward to my first day as a UPIS student. In my first year, I competed in the UAAP competition and until this day I still represent UPIS in various swimming competitions.
