  1. A deafening grimace, one of indirect malice and pure instinct, diluted the air. It mixed well with the stench of copper that filled in the gaps and stabbed the nose for good measure. The shag demon encroached, a word I use liberally, as I am the one intruding on its den. Just being near (so very near) to this eldritch ani- no, not animal. Being near this eldritch monstrosity is enough to make the air feel like a viscous fluid, and, as I struggle to swim away, I bring you to the beginning of my plight.
  2.
  3. Weather that teased at the idea of frost took residence in the atmosphere, where it had strewn about the floor the garments that were its winds that nipped and pricked upon your skin. You would breathe outward, and it would almost seem to track you, marking you with a vapor that dissipated in seconds. “Was it hiding something from me?,” you would think, or say, depending on whether you were in good company or not, “It went by so quickly.” I am not reading you my exposition so you could remark upon the weather, so focus, if you will. Accompanying the chill of the day was the contagious, melancholy blue film that seemed to seep into your mood, whether you had breakfast or not. A person’s mood seems to be dictated upon whether or not they have been satiated, and there are only 4 moods that follow this prerequisite.
