His scales are smooth and neatly oriented, giving him a brilliant shine. He is a quadrupedal dragon, roughly twice the height of a standard pony and three times as long. Despite his large natural size he can disguise as other sizes like other changelings.

  15. Backstory:
  16. Razvarion was formerly a green dragon named Zachius that was hatched and raised in a druid's shrine. His parents served as guardians for this sanctum of nature and passed away protecting it, and once he grew old enough took on the role of guardian himself in their honor. His life was spent in tranquility and protection of nature, content in this simple, peaceful lifestyle. But in a dragon's relative time, it did not last long. A newcomer that the shrine took in betrayed them, a changeling that waited for months for the perfect opportunity. It struck down the Arch-Druid that Zachius came to see as a second father, and began an assault upon the sanctuary with a group of changelings that were lying in wait for this. Zachius took out most of the force himself, but it was too much. The druids fell and the lead changeling, a general named Zaraxan, took him down with cheap tricks and mental manipulation using the Arch-Druid's image. He was captured, along with the survivors, and brought to their hive.
  17. Seen as a powerful tool, the changelings began the process to convert the dragon into one of them to make him a powerful tool. The corruption nearly killed him, but it was a success. No remnant of the old dragon remained, brilliant emerald scales turned into a dark purple, wings ruined with holes, and claws made into deadly weapons. His body even stood against his old ideals, fire gone and only acid and poison in it's place, decaying the ground where he walked. In this form, the changelings began to torture him to break his will last, forming him into a mindless weapon for their use. The contempt he felt for them over the death of his home steeled his mind to this, but even his personality did not survive. Corrupted by his own emotions alone, the once peaceful and honorable dragon felt hate, vengeance, and rage. He took every chance he could to physically lash at the bugs and turning the mental abuse he felt at the fall of his shrine at them whenever he could. He was locked away, deemed as too dangerous for the hive to use.
  18. Then, one day after countless, a bug he recognized came into his cell. Zaraxan, the one who took away his life, came to speak. Zachius began to insult him, blinded by the festering emotions he's had since that fateful day. But that ended when Zaraxan offered freedom. It was a simple bargain, an agreement to follow his orders and serve his hive in exchange for freedom in all other aspects with the ability to do as he pleases. Zachius could not tell if this was a trick to play on his emotions, some attempt of desperation, or perhaps just a blind attempt the insect trusted to well. But for him, he believes to take this offer out of boredom, his old life barely a memory now. Released from his bonds, the dragon left his cell to serve the hive and begin a new life, reborn as the poison drake Razvarion.
