  116.
  117. So we landed in the Forgotten realms this time we were a mercenary company. We found ourselves in the lively city of Waterdeep. The city of splendors lived up to its name.
  118.
  119. In this world I was a Bard! Finally all the social fu skills are mine… Nekochan just stated that was adorable and patted me on the head like a child. Despite her teasing I was every bit a real bard. I could sing and everything. Maybe not as well as her but I can do it.
  120.
  121. We tried our hand at Mercenary work… and without a reputation it was slim pickings or tasks that were frankly stupid, like one guy who had heard of a Demiplane of Dread and wanted to explore it. Because we had no reputation they wanted us to fight rats and goblins and work our way up. Who has time for that?
  122.
  123. It was actually Akiha who decided our next move. She has inserted herself as my second in command. She had heard the tale of the Ruins of the Undermountain and wanted to conquer it. She wanted to take control of the largest dungeon in the world and make it our base of operations. Akiha is very ambitious and when she gets into something she goes all the way.
  124.
  125. We had out of context abilities so I wasn’t too worried about what we would find there. So we went to the Yawning portal tavern. Akiha threw a fit because they wanted a percentage of whatever we found. I was able to talk her down though. Nekochan let me rather.
  126.
  127. The undermountain is big... very big. I’ll admit its raw size gave us a challenge. Our powers were more than equal to the task but our endurance it turns out was not. We actually made it down to the second level but it was like trying to fight your way through a river of weak monsters and traps. We were able to make friends with a weird fire vampire woman though it was tough to keep Arcueid from killing her. She let us rest up in her lair. It turns out she was very lonely, apparently the undermountain is not the best place to make friends. I offered to return her to life but she was hesitant. We did run into a minor problem, A lot of the monsters we fought we didn’t kill if we could avoid it… Kohaku thought this would be a great chance to test some magical formulas she had been working on. It took a lot to convince her not to do that. It just seemed wrong.
  128.
  129. Anyways we continued on until our bags of holding were full by floor 4. Akiha wanted to just teleport past the yawning portal but I wanted to go there so that we would get some recognition. We had plenty of money but I actually wanted people to hire us for stuff.
  130.
  131. We made it back pretty easily and gave our Tithe. Akiha grumbled but we stunned everyone in the tavern. We soon became sort of celebrities for appearing out of nowhere and striking it rich. Again we really didn’t need the money but hopefully now we would have people who would hire us.
  132.
  133. We decided to rest up a bit but before we could a call went out that a Great Wyrm Red Dragon was terrorizing the merchants in the area. The overland routes were being sacked. A bit of investigating turned up that apparently someone had gone to the merchant companies beforehand offering protection but had been turned away.
  134.
  135. With a Great Wyrm on the loose, only the high end mercenary companies were willing to take the job, and of course us.
  136.
  137. We wound up traveling with a small merchant company. It was a few days out when the dragon struck. We were out in the middle of some plains there was nowhere to hide and it just popped out from behind an invisibility spell and breathed fire at us. The only warning we got was my spider sense which let me put up a barrier up in time to block it.
  138.
  139. We flew up to go fight it and I got a surprise as another figure was flying with the dragon.
  140.
  141. Pryo from back in Gotham had acquired some power armor with a jet back and wrist mounted flamethrowers before we left. He apparently still had them and somehow had followed us to this world. That was a shock. He saw us with our weapons out and screamed for the dragon to flee. He had learned what we were capable of.
  142.
  143. The dragon turned to grab him but merely caught a couple magical girl style beams to the face, which knocked it out of the sky. We were going to capture both. I was very curious what Pyro was doing here. However, Pyro made it to the dragon first and somehow the dragon was still conscious because it grabbed Pyro and they teleported away.
  144.
  145. That led us to a mystery, I wanted to track down Pyro to find out what the hell was going on. I tried scrying spells but apparently where they had gone was protected, presumably the dragon's lair.
  146. We finished the job then did some investigation. We found a map and approximated from the areas of the attack around where the Dragon’s lair would be. It still left us a bit of land to cover but it was something.
  147.
  148. Well we scoured the area and after a few random encounters we encountered what we thought was the entrance of the dragon’s lair or one of them. Apparently there were multiples but as it turned out there was one real entrance and a half dozen false ones that were rigged with nasty traps.
  149.
  150. Fortunately I had some Automatons to test the entrances, even after the traps triggered it couldn’t do much to them, so we found the correct entrance. We made it through a good number of traps and monsters to make it to the innermost chamber. There we found them.
  151.
  152. Something seemed off to me, the dragon was still injured and Pyro was armed to the teeth with magical items seemingly ready to fight to the death.
  153.
  154. I had cast a barrier this time so they couldn’t simply teleport out. I learned my lesson from last time.
  155. So I stopped and talked to them, we had our weapons trained on them.
  156.
  157. Apparently Pyro had found himself in a town near here and had been warned there was a dragon somewhere in the area. After finding out about it he became fascinated and sought it out. Somehow he had managed to find the lair through the correct entrance and make it through the traps where he confronted the dragon with a business proposition.
  158.
  159. The dragon spoke up at this point and admitted it had been amused by such a hateful and greedy human and decided to humor him. It Shifted into a red headed female human and went over to wrap an arm around him. Apparently somewhere among the fire, chaos and violence they had fallen in love.
  160.
  161. It’s funny how certain circumstances can put a damper on things. Even as sick and twisted as it was it looked like they were actually in love and were actually trying to protect each other. We were going to slay the dragon and take him into custody (to interrogate) and to turn over to waterdeep.
  162.
  163. Finally I started with the interrogation as no one in the mood for violence had passed. It turns out Pyro didn’t have any idea really how he had come to be in this world as much as we did. He still hated me but was more concerned about protecting the dragon.
  164.
  165. Being a spellcaster with more spells than I can count and effectively epic level I did have some options here. I told them I was going to leave them alive and not even take the horde of treasure they were standing on. They were overjoyed. Then I told them I was going to slap a few spells on them to keep them out of trouble. They were less happy and looked ready to fight.
  166.
  167. A small fight did break out but the Dragon was already hurt and we were more than enough to deal with pyro even with the magic items he had. We changed the dragon back into a human and form locked her so she was stuck in human form. We also cast a few spells to prevent her from casting spells and we turned Pyro’s power armor to stone and shattered it.
  168.
  169. He swore vengeance again but he was pretty well defanged. In the end we left without many answers. I wondered just who would pop up next in our travels. Strangely I was actually worried if the Joker showed up. It wouldn’t take much for him to wrestle godhood from a few gods here and become a real problem.
  170.
  171. So we continued on our training and Sacking of the Undermountain. Eventually we met Halaster the ruler of the Undermountain. The mad mage offered us a virtual mountain of gold, magic items and spells just to leave and not come back. It was getting a little old plunging the depths of this super dungeon anyways so we took the deal after we made sure nothing was cursed.
  172.
  173. I did some bard stuff like telling tales of my exploits in other worlds, crafting songs about them and actually making a name for myself as a performer.
  174.
  175. We had many more adventures and met some of the big names in the Realms like Gary stu… I mean Elmenster, sorry meant Elmenster and totally not Gary Stu. We also met Drizzt. Both were interesting fellows, Elmenster seemed curious about my trips to other worlds. We swapped tales.
  176.
  177. Anyways we all eventually became quite powerful in the classes we had taken and years passed eventually it was time to leave Faerun for somewhere else.
