- “Sir, one of our Protectorates on the battlefield has successfully intercepted and eliminated enemy forces in a university in Los Baños, how do we proceed?” An Angel inquired the Archangel Michael in a genuflected position.
- Michael was standing before a golden crucifix, muttering a silent prayer before bowing. He turned to the Angel and replied, “Mobilize Protectorate Omega in Nairobi.” The Archangel Michael replied. “He already knew his mission.”
- “Yes, General.”
- -------
- Omega was covered in tattered ponchos as he walked the streets of Nairobi, pretending to be beggar. He was shaking a coin filled cup while raising it to a few passersby. Few people dropped their dimes while the other ones simply ignored him, even up to the point of earning an insult. Omega ignored it, pulling the poncho over his black and green armor.
- “Protectorate Omega, you are cleared for duty. Execute mission, over.” A voice spoke over the internal speakers of his suit.
- Omega’s face, as usual, was covered with his retractable headgear. He never bothered removing it even not on missions.
- He glanced at a nondescript building, guarded by a Kenyan man in camouflage. He was armed with an assault rifle. Two watchtowers can be seen on either side of him where more guards possibly stationed. He activated the stealth camouflage of his armor and slowly disappeared.
- The guard yawned. He glanced at his watch; it was 3:00 PM. He raised his rifle in a disciplined manner before marching when a cloth suddenly enveloped his entire head. Someone pulled him down to the ground really hard that he swear he felt his back snapped. He was about to stand when a foot crushed his entire face.
- Omega grabbed the grenades from the dead guard’s belt. He tossed each grenade high up inside the towers and within split seconds, it exploded in bright orange flames. Omega looted the guard’s rifle and his radio where he heard distressed calls transmitted back and forth.
- “Shalaadin, what the hell was that?!”
- “Djinn,” Omega muttered. His blood boiled upon hearing the voice of the monster. He fought the urge to yell a prayer at the monster and possibly exorcise him. He raised his rifle and made his way around the building to find an entrance.
- He encountered three Kenyan soldiers moving towards the entrance. Omega fired at the first one and the second one. He rushed at the third one and smashed the soldier’s face with the butt of his rifle. To make sure, he put a single round on the man’s chest.
- He continued his journey until he made a turn to the right where four more soldiers moving in a formation. Omega fired at the nearest one. He grabbed the second one while he opened up at the third one. He seeks for the fourth one; following him towards a stack of crates that he intended to use for cover. When the fourth one stepped from cover, Omega had finished him off.
- The second one in his grasp struggled against him. Omega tossed the man to the ground and fired.
- “Enemy down.” Omega reported as he entered the gloomy building.
- By the looks of it, the building was a warehouse filled with empty dilapidated crates. A wooden table and four chairs can be seen in the middle. On the surface were bottles of liquor and some playing cards.
- Hidden by shadows, the blue glowing eyes of Shaitan Djinns can be seen everywhere surrounding him like fireflies in dark jungles. Omega could feel their sickening presence seeping through the confines of his Praetorian Battle Gear. Omega knew it would be a bloodbath.
- He fired at the nearest Djinn, dropping it. The Djinns simultaneously charged at him. Omega was glad that he had two Ray Pistols with him when his current rifle ran dry. He fired at the second one; its corpse crumbling into blue luminescent dust. He fired at the third and fourth one before smashing the face of the fifth one. He stomped on the ground, pushing the surrounding monsters away with a telekinetic blast. He fired a few more rounds, downing the sixth and seventh before the rifle clicked empty.
- He tossed the rifle by the barrel before pulling both his Ray Pistols where he fired at Djinns after Djinns. A clawed hand almost reached him had he not rolled away. He retaliated against his assailant with a blast to the face. He crouched and fired at the groin of the other one, injuring it. He put an end to the Djinn with a blast to the head.
- Thirty Djinns had fallen before the Ray Pistol emptied. At this point, Omega discarded his pistols by throwing it at a duo. He switched to his sword and began swinging at his enemies. The fight lasted for more than thirty minutes before finally the last of the Djinns died.
- “Protectorate Omega, reporting for duty. Enemy territory conquered.”
- “Good,” the Operator replied. “An Insurgent liaison will enter the building. Eliminate her.”
- “Affirmative.”
- Just in time, a female in a silver Mark II Exosuit entered the building with a rifle raised. Omega disappeared before reappearing behind her and slitting her throat without mercy.
