There are so many connection to both past and future events in this episode. In the novel Hanekawa says that she maybe got charmed by Araragi during spring break, because of his full vampiric abilities. This is obviously her referencing how she fell in love with Araragi during spring break.
Oshino is outside, preparing to leave town. This is is goodbye - he told Araragi that he would never leave without a proper goodbye, and this is how he decided to give it.
