「ええ、今の戦力をひとまとめにして、
チームとして集中運用したいと…」
Koji: Yeah, he wants to consolidate our fighting power so we can operate as a single team...

弓教授
「ふむ、四ツ谷博士が言うのであれば
我々もできる限りの協力をすべきだろうね」
Prof. Yumi: Hm, if Dr. Yotsuya believes so, then we should do everything in our power to cooperate.

弓教授
「彼は、亡くなった南原博士が
最も信頼を寄せていたロボット工学の権威で、
軍略にも詳しい」
Prof. Yumi: He was the authority on robotics and military strategy that the late Dr. Nanbara trusted the most.

弓教授
「君たちを部隊として動かすのなら、
指揮官には四ツ谷博士が適任だろう」
Prof. Yumi: If you all are to work as a single unit, then Dr. Yotsuya would be a suitable choice as commander.

サキミ
「しかし、組織で行動するとなると
移動手段を考えなくてはなりませんね」
Sakimi: However, were we to function as an organization, we’d need to give some thought to our method of transportation.

「空母のようなものがあれば
助かるんですが…」
Sakimi: Something like an aircraft carrier would certainly be welcome...

何とかするべきじゃないのか?」
Koji: Before that, isn’t it about time we do something about Didarion?

「豹馬も明も、敵に個別に狙われて

Koji: Hyoma and Akira were both targeted by enemies individually and ended up in some pretty dire situations.

「あいつも正体がバレた以上、
いつ狙われるかわかったもんじゃないぜ?」
Koji: If they catch wind of his true form, don’t you think they’ll target him too?

「それはそうだけど、
どこにいるかわからないんじゃ…」
Meg: That’s true, but we don’t have a clue where he is...

「とはいえ、彼が人間でいる時の
姿は判明したんですから、今までよりも
ずっと探しやすいと思います」
Sakimi: That said, we’ve confirmed his appearance when he’s in his human form, so we should have a much easier time searching for him.

「各所の防犯カメラの映像から
彼の顔を検索するとか?」
Meg: Could we maybe do a face recognition search for him on all the security cameras around?

防犯カメラがある所なんて限られてるぜ」
Koji: What are you on about? There aren’t exactly a lot of security cameras around here.

「しかも顔を検索って…どうやって?」
Koji: And more to the point, what’s a...face recognition search?

(そうか…この世界じゃ
街中に防犯カメラがあるわけじゃないし、
インターネットもないんだった)
Meg: (That’s right... In this world, not every city has security cameras or even internet.)

「…次にディーダリオンが現れ、
人間の姿になれば、追跡できると思います」

「東京上空に、所属不明機が現れたって!」
Sayaka: There’s a bunch of unidentified machines flying over Tokyo!

「なんだって!?」
Koji: What!?

「テレビをつけますね」
Sakimi: I’ll turn on the TV.

さやか
「ほら、これ!
新手のハニワ幻人かしら?」
Sayaka: Look, there! Do you think it’s a new kind of Haniwa Phantom?

甲児
「いや、違うぜ!
機械獣でも[デーモン]でもねえ!」
Koji: No, it’s different! And it’s not a Mechanical Beast or a [Demon] either!

『東京上空』
Episode 8
Over the Skies of Tokyo


(Scene begins on the Tokyo map screen. Garalia and two Drake Soldiers are on the map.)

ガラリア
「しかし…なんだ、この建造物の群れは。
あまりにも四角い…城とも思えないが」
Garalia: How odd... There’s so many buildings clustered together. They’re so square shaped... They don’t appear to be castles.

ドレイク兵
「ガラリア様、ここはいったいどこなのでしょうか?」
Drake Soldier: Lady Garalia, just where are we?

ガラリア
「わからぬ。
[バイストン・ウェル]でないことだけは
確かなようだが…」
Garalia: I don’t know. The only thing I’m sure of is that it’s not [Byston Well]...

(Show appears.)

ショウ
「ガラリア、聞こえるか!
ここは地上だ、人間の住む所だ!」
Show: Garalia, can you hear me!? You’re on Upper Earth, where humans live!

ガラリア
「!? ショウ・ザマか…!」
Garalia: !? Show Zama...!

ガラリア
「いいタイミングだ!
ここで決着をつけてくれる!」
Garalia: What excellent timing! We can end this right here!

ショウ
「よせっ!
ここで戦うと地上の人々を傷つける!」
Show: No! If we fight here, we’ll hurt the people of Upper Earth!

ガラリア
「ふん…!
[地上人]のお前が敵ならば、ここは敵地だ!
破壊してやる!」
Garalia: Hmph! If these [Upper Earthlings] are with you, my enemy, than that makes this enemy territory! So I’ll destroy it!

ショウ
「やめろ、ガラリアァァッ!」
Show: Don’t do it, Garaliaaa!

(Garalia fires on the city.)

チャム
「ああっ…街が…!」
Cham: Ah... The city...!

ショウ
「クッ…なんてことを!」
Show: Grr... What the hell is wrong with you!?

(Didarion appears.)

チャム
「!?見て、ショウ!
なんか出てきたよ!」
Cham: !? Look, Show! Something else just showed up!

ディーダリオン
「………」
Didarion: ...

ディーダリオン
「お前たちは人間を傷つける…
ならば、俺は…!」
Didarion: You people hurt the humans... So I’ll...!

ガラリア
「ふん、地上の兵器というわけか。
我らと一戦まみえるのなら、先手必勝だ!」
Garalia: Hmph, looks like an Upper Earth weapon. If you’re going to challenge us, then I’ll strike first and claim victory!

ショウ
「やめるんだ!
俺たちを理解させるためには、
これ以上戦いをしちゃいけない!」
Show: Stop it! If we’re going to reach an understanding, we can’t keep fighting each other!

ガラリア
「俺たちだと!?
笑わせるな、私とお前は敵同士だ!」
Garalia: What do you mean “us”!? We two are enemies, don’t make me laugh with such nonsense!

ショウ
「クッ…ガラリア!
なぜわからないッ!」
Show: Grr... Garalia! Why won’t you understand!?

(Battle 1 begins.)

(This exchange triggers if Show battles Garalia.)

ガラリア
「ショウ・ザマ!
貴様はこの私が仕留めてみせる!」
Garalia: Show Zama! I’m going to take you down!

ショウ
「力押しならば、負けはしないッ!」
Show: I won’t lose to sheer brute force!

(Battle 1 ends when Garalia is defeated.)

ガラリア
「はぁ、はぁ…どういうことだ?
これしきの戦いでこんなにも疲れるとは…」
Garalia: Haa, haa... What’s going on? I wasn’t expecting to be this tired from a simple battle...

ガラリア
「バイストン・ウェルと地上では
空気が違うということなのか…?」
Garalia: Could it be that the air is different on Upper Earth from Byston Well...?

(Garalia leaves the map.)

「ガラリア、待て!」
Show: Wait, Garalia!

(Show leaves the map.)

Koji: Hiroshi! Have you seen the news!?

「ああ!
あの虫みたいなマシンに乗ってたパイロット…
間違いない、あれはショウだ!」
Hiroshi: Yeah! The one piloting that bug-like machine... I’m positive it’s Show!

甲児
「やっぱそうだよな。
ショウの奴、なんであんなモノに…」
Koji: That’s just what I was thinking. How the heck did Show end up in that thing...?

甲児
「とにかく、このままじゃショウがやばい!
俺たちで助けよう!」
Koji: Anyways, Show’s still in trouble! We gotta go give him a hand!

宙
「わかった!
四ツ谷博士には俺から連絡しておく。
お前は明を呼んできてくれ!」
Hiroshi: Got it! I’ll get in contact with Dr. Yotsuya and the others. You call Akira!

甲児
「ああ!」
Koji: Right!


(Scene changes to a forest. No location given.)


ショウ
「くそっ!
なんでこんなことになっちまったんだ!」
Show: Dammit! What the hell is going on!?

チャム
「ショウとガラリアが戦って…
ふたりの[オーラ力]が合わさったんじゃないの?」
Cham: When you and Garalia fought... Didn’t your [Aura Power] combine?

ショウ
「俺たちの力のぶつかり合いで、
[オーラロード]が拓いたっていうのか?」
Show: You mean when our power collided, that was when [Aura Road] opened?

ショウ
「じゃあ、なんでこんな所に…」
Show: But, why did it lead here...?

チャム
「この街はショウの故郷なんでしょ?」
Cham: Isn’t this your hometown, Show?

チャム
「ショウの友達とか家族とか…
知ってる人のオーラ力に引かれたのよ」
Cham: Your friends and family... Anyone you know could draw your Aura Power here.

ショウ
「そういうものなのか?」
Show: Is that really how it works?

チャム
「さあ…?」
Cham: Who knows...?

ショウ
「とにかく、ガラリアを捕まえて
戦いをやめさせないと!」
Show: Anyways, we’ve got to restrain Garalia if we’re going to put a stop to the fighting!

「このままじゃ、いずれ俺たちも
地上の軍隊に包囲される!」
Show: If things stay like this, Upper Earth’s armies will end up surrounding her!

チャム
「どうするのよ!?」
Cham: Then what do we do!?

ショウ
「わからないよ!」
Show: I don’t know!

ショウ
「けど、俺には
ガラリアを助けたいって気持ちもあるんだ…」
Show: But, I feel like I want to help Garalia...

チャム
「ショウ…」
Cham: Show...


(Scene changes to the city.)

「行くのか、明…」
Ryo: So you’re going, Akira...

「ああ、あいつを放ってはおけない」
Akira: Yeah, I can’t just leave him on his own like that.

兜甲児の言ってた座間祥という奴は
お前の友達でもなんでもないだろう?」
Ryo: Him...? Is that Show Zama that Koji Kabuto mentioned a friend of yours?

「俺の言ってるのは、
ディーダリオンって奴の方さ」
Akira: No, the one I’m talking about is Didarion.

「あいつには借りがある。
あいつが戦ってる以上、俺も行かなきゃな」
Akira: I owe him one. If he’s out there fighting, then I’m going too.

Ryo: ...Are you sure that’s the only reason?

Ryo: Are you sure you don’t just simply want to fight? That it isn’t Amon’s blood, sleeping within your body, that’s driving you to battle...?

Akira: Enough, Ryo! I’m still me!

「たとえ身体は悪魔に売っても、
心まではそうじゃねえ!」
Akira: Even if I’ve sold my body to a Demon, I haven’t sold my heart as well!

人間、不動明として俺は戦う!」
Akira: I...am human. And I’m fighting as Akira Fudo, the human!

(Scene changes to the map screen of Tokyo. Show and Garalia are present, with Garalia firing all off the screen.)

なんでむやみに暴れて敵を作るんだ!」
Show: Garalia! Why are you going on a rampage and making enemies!?

ガラリア
「だまれ、ショウ・ザマ!
私は地上人とは…!」
Garalia: Silence, Show Zama! I’m not an Upper Earhling...!

(Didarion appears.)

ディーダリオン
「………」
Didarion: ...

ガラリア
「また貴様か!
私の邪魔をするならば…!」
Garalia: That bastard again! If you’re going to interfere...!

ショウ
「よせ、ガラリア!」
Show: Stop, Garalia!

(Didarion comes under fire.)

(Baron Ashura appears, alongside Mechanical Beasts.)

Baron Ashura: Hahaha...! So you’ve come out, space-time leaping titan!

Garalia: Are they another of Upper Earth’s armies...!?

「違う…あれは、機械獣!
前に見た…人類の敵だ!」
Show: No... Those are Mechanical Beasts! I’ve seen them before... They’re enemies of mankind!

ガラリア
「機械獣だと…!?」
Garalia: Mechanical Beasts...!?

あしゅら男爵
「巨人よ!
Dr.ヘルの命により、
今日こそ貴様を捕らえてやるぞ!」
Baron Ashura: Titan! By Dr. Hell’s orders, I will capture you this day!

あしゅら男爵
「機械獣どもよ、やれい!」
Baron Ashura: Mechanical Beasts, get him!

(The Mechanical Beasts move toward Didarion, but are swiftly destroyed.)

あしゅら男爵
「!?な、なに…!」
Baron Ashura: !? Wh-What just happened...!?

(Scene ends.)

(Next scene picks up where it left off. Devilman, Koji, and the other machines appear.)

「これで借りはチャラだぜ、
ディーダリオン!」
Devilman: Now we’re even, Didarion!

ディーダリオン
「デビルマンか…!」
Didarion: Devilman...!

甲児
「ショウ!
返事をしてくれ、ショウ!」
Koji: Show! Show, respond!

ショウ
「その声は…甲児!?
兜甲児か!」
Show: That voice... Koji!? Koji Kabuto!

甲児
「やっぱり、ショウなんだな!
なんだってそんなマシンに…」
Koji: Like I thought, it really is you, Show! What are you doing in a machine like that...?

ショウ
「話はあとだ!
それよりも今は…!」
Show: We’ll talk later! There’s more pressing matters right now...!

あしゅら男爵
「ええい、マジンガーZ!
いつもいつも邪魔だてしおって!」
Baron Ashura: Agh, Mazinger Z! You always, always, get in the way every single time!

あしゅら男爵
「今日という今日は許さぬぞ!」
Baron Ashura: But I won’t let you have your way today!

甲児
「それはこっちのセリフだぜ!
返り討ちにしてやるぜ!」
Koji: Took the words right out of my mouth! I still owe you some payback!

ガラリア
「地上の軍隊!
ここで引き下がるわけにはいかぬ!」
Garalia: Upper Earth armies! I won’t back down!

(Battle 2 beings.)

(This exchange happens when Garalia is defeated.)

ガラリア
「おのれ、地上人どもめ…!」
Garalia: Damn you, Upper Earthlings...!

ショウ
「もうよせ、ガラリア!
力を合わせてバイストン・ウェルに帰ろう!」
Show: Stop it already, Garalia! If we work together, we can return to Byston Well!

ガラリア
「そんなことを言いながら、
地上の人間と手を結びおって!」
Garalia: You think you can say that while you’re holding hands with the people of Upper Earth!?

ショウ
「違う、俺は…!」
Show: No, that’s not what I...!

チャム
「そうよ、誤解よ!」
Cham: Yeah, this is a misunderstanding!

ガラリア
「クッ…!
やはり、地上では体力の消耗が激しい!」
Garalia: Tch...! Like I thought, Upper Earth drains my stamina quickly!

ガラリア
「ショウ・ザマ!
貴様とはいずれ決着をつけてやる!」
Garalia: Show Zama! Someday I will finish things with you!

(Garalia leaves the map.)

(This line triggers when Baron Ashura is defeated.)

「お、おのれ、人間どもめ…!
またしても…!」
Baron Ashura: D-Damn human bastards...! Once again...!

(Baron Ashura leaves the map.)

(Battle 2 ends when both Baron Ashura and Garalia are defeated.)

俺はお前を死なせたくない)
Show: (Garalia... I don’t want you to die.)

ショウ
(どうすればわかってくれるんだ…?)
Show: (How can I help you understand...?)

Cham: Show...

「ショウ、俺たちと来てくれるな?
お前には、聞きたいことが山ほどある」
Koji: Show, can you come with us? We’ve got a whole heap of questions to ask you.

あれから色んなことがあってな…
多少のことじゃ動じねえ」
Koji: You don’t need to worry. A lot’s gone down since you’ve been gone... A few more things aren’t gonna freak us out.

「それに、光子力研究所で
お前とそのマシンを保護するよう
弓教授が政府に話をつけてくれる」
Koji: And Professor Yumi can talk the government into leaving your machine to the protection of the Photon Power Lab.

甲児
「だから、俺を信じて
一緒に来てくれないか」
Koji: So, I want you to trust me and come with us.

ショウ
「…わかった」
Show: ...Alright.

Show: Yeah. The Upper Earthlings summoned to Byston Well have a stronger Aura Power than the ones on that side.

Show: And I was chosen to be an [Aura Battler] pilot...

Hiroshi: So that Garalia, is she also...?

なら、どうしてこの世界で戦いを…」
Meg: So your memories still haven’t returned. But, then why were you fighting in this world all this time...?

「善なる者の生命を守るためだ」
Dido: My mission is to protect the lives of righteous people.

Dido: It’s all I know to do now...

恐獣と呼ばれる巨大肉食獣の筋繊維や甲殻を使用して建造されており、虫に似た外見をしているものが多い。

フェラリオはチ、エ、ミの三級からなり、その中のミ・フェラリオは地上の寸法で30~40 c m程度の 大きさであり、妖精のような印象を与える。

Mi Ferario
