Description: Curtis was awakened by Solorzano, who was on his back porch. When Curtis confronted him, he was attacked and overpowered. Melody pleaded with Solorzano to stop assaulting her husband, but he ignored her. Melody went back into the home and retrieved a handgun. After firing a warning shot, which Solorzano ignored, she shot him once in the head, before attending to her husband, then calling police.
