  14. Rose has the characteristic industrious drive of a Lightning dragon, but her focus isn't technological in nature. Rather, Rose applies her skills to the art of ornamental horticulture.

  16. It all began, she says, back home in the Highland Scrub. She was young and curious, attracted to anything that moved. What moved most at night were moths on the hunt for night-blooming cactus nectar. The smell of the blossoms and the refractive glow of their petals by moonlight made a strong impression on Rose, and she resolved very early on to devote herself to growing plants.

  18. Of course, the Highland Scrub wasn't much good for growing anything but tumbleweeds and cacti, and Rose wanted, well, roses. So she picked up her things and headed for the Viridian Labyrinth. Surrounded by greenery in the Everbloom, Rose has made her mark on her new clan territory by filling it with every kind of rose cultivar she can get her hands on. Her current pride in joy is a rose variety of her own making: a grey-lipped blossom with a deep purple heart, and anthers white as the moons over the Scrub.

  20. Rose is industrious and focused by nature, two traits supported happily by her two mates, Thanos and Fraoch. She's determined to combine her two great loves (flowers and family) and create special rose cultivars in honour of her partners. It's time consuming work, but Rose is nothing if not patient and dedicated. One day, she knows, a bud will open to reveal the deep shimmer of Thanos' purple wings, shot through with the pale softness of Fraoch's downy pink fringe.
