- >They were watching TV when an ad for a movie was showing, some dumb slasher flick
- >Lupa loved those types of movies, she enjoyed making fun of them, pointing out plot holes and stuff
- >A love she shared with Lemy, who spoke up "We should go see that this Friday"
- >"Yeah, sure" she answered like it was no big deal, because it was no big deal right?
- >Laying there with her head in his lap her eyes widened as it hit her, Lemy asked her out
- >Like on a date
- >Trying to appear as composed as possible Lupa excused herself to use the washroom as she made her way upstairs
- >Closing the door behind her she rushed to the sink and dry heaved as the butterflies in her stomach raged
- >Splashing her face with water, Lupa looked at herself in the mirror, anxiety stared back
- >Lemy had thrown her a curve ball, she wasn't prepared for this at all
- >They had been together for a while now, spending most of their time together as they chilled or fooled around
- >There was no need to date, they lived together after all
- >So why was she so nervous?
- >Her mind was racing with visions of her and Lemy out at various locals
- >Hanging out at the mall, playing at the arcade, eating dinner at a fancy place all dressed up
- >A whole new world of opportunities that she had never planned for
- >She ran a shaky hand over her sweaty face
- >All of that sounded fun actually, and she could see them trying it
- >But Lupa never went into anything cold, without a plan and backup plans
- >Despite Lemy thinking otherwise, there was no such thing as a spontaneous encounter in their relationship
- >She would rig it from the start because she wanted it
- >Her mind racing a mile a minute she ran scenarios of how things would play out and what could go wrong
- >Deciding a simple course of action was the best, they would go in, pay for tickets, get snacks and just watch the movie
- >Getting frisky was not something they should risk, not in public
- >Yet at least
- >Looking at herself she took several deep breaths, hyping herself up
- >You got this
- >Friday arrived, and for the past few days Lupa's face did not betray her nervousness
- >She had spent the week making plans and taking notes, even taking one of her aunt Lisa's whiteboards and planned out any possible future dates
- >Her room looked like that of a conspiracy theorist, and she briefly wondered if she might be crazy
- >She stood in front of the mirror and nodded to herself, she was dressed like she always was, simple hoodie with a skirt and pants
- >This would be a date in name only, they would go and act normal, from the outside it would look just like a brother and sister watching a movie
- >But it meant so much more to her, this was a step forward
- >Grabbing what she needed she began to text Lemy telling him she was ready when she saw he was already waiting by the door
- >Smiling at him they made their way downtown chatting idly about the movie and how stupid it looked
- >Lupa felt at ease for the first time that night
- >Arriving at the theater they found it packed, typical Friday she thought annoyed
- >Paying for their tickets they shuffled inside, standing in line for snacks
- >Lupa had her hands in her pocket messing with a fidget cube and she scanned around seeing if she saw anyone she knew
- >If not than they could cuddle a bit, she blushed at the idea
- >Her thoughts were interrupted when she heard someone call out behind her "Hey freak, fancy seeing you here"
- >It wasn't addressed at her, but at Lemy
- >Turning around she narrowed her eyes slightly as she saw one of her sister's friends
- >Gwen
- >She was one of her sister Leia's goons, a year below Lemy at school, and harboring an obvious crush
- >Lupa was already plotting on ways to dispose of the body
- >"Oh hey Gwen, how you doing, seeing the same movie?" She flashed her ticket and a grin, she was
- >"Yep, big fan of the last one" She walked closer and eyed up her brother "Just you two here?"
- >"Yeah, no one else likes movies like this" Her brother replied "wanna sit with us?"
- >God Lemy could be dense sometimes
- >Tuning out the rest of their conversations Lupa thought to herself, she foresaw something like this being possible
- >Unfortunately for Gwen, she had a solution
- >They made their way down the aisles as Lupa scanned the seats like a hawk
- >Spotting what she was looking for she guided Lemy towards some seats of to the side, closest to the wall
- >Three seats were open, but the one closest to the isle had a jacket on it
- >Taken, she smiled to herself
- >Working their way down Lupa took the seat deepest in and sat down with a knowing smile
- >Gwen tried to move the jacket when the lady next to her informed her that it was her husbands and he would be back
- >"That's too bad" Lemy looked apologetic as Gwen huffed
- >"Its fine" she said, clearly annoyed as she made her way to a different seat
- >The lights dimmed and the previews began to show, Lupa smirked at her victory before she felt warmth as Lemy grabbed her hand and interlocked their fingers
- >The ashen girl couldn't hear anything over her heart pounding in her ears as she turned slightly to face her brother
- >He gave her a smile and turned his attention to the screen and gave her hand a gentle squeeze
- >Lupa stared off into space as she schemed up plans for ravaging him when they got home
