- Tristan’s abilities are star-based.
- She didn't learn about them until she was in the later years of high school. It drove her interest in her father's company, particularly when she was able to heal herself with small balls of glowing light. The very first person she showed it to was her nanna, who recognized it for what it was almost immediately.
- Her nanna believed that her brother stayed with her, attaching his soul to Tristan's. She suggested that they go to her homeland of Tibet for one of Tristan's vacations and the woman agreed. While her nanna was visiting with her family, Tristan explored where she could. Going to different monasterys and meeting various people in the country, Tristan truly felt at home there in a way she couldn't explain.
- On her way to a monastery further in the forests, Tristan slipped and fell down into a ravine. Being on her own meant that she was out of luck and in a dangerous place until she recalled what her nanna had told her. A spirit was with her and their combined ability meant that they could heal and protect. Putting her hands on her broken limb, Tristan spent what energy she had to heal it. The pain of it nearly knocked her out but it was gone almost as quickly as it'd come.
- Opening her eyes to it, the limb looked as if it'd never been hurt and she continued on to climb up to the trail. It took her a while considering the fact that she'd just used a considerable amount of energy to heal herself, but she managed to make her way to the monastery.
- By the time she reached the steps, Tristan dropped to her knees and put her forehead to the ground. Her nanna had been teaching her about buddhism for years and she believed that it was meant for her to make it there.
- Sorceress: While she's still coming into her own abilities, Tristan does try to implement them in her everyday life. She can use small balls of light, mimicking stars, to light up areas when it's too dark; she can use these stars to scar and intimidate would-be attackers (mostly humans); an she can use the soul bound to her to see what's happening in areas where she's not.
- Bound Soul Projection: Meditating on the entity tethered to her own soul, Tristan can do a multitude of things. The only requirement is that she has to be sitting down. As such, she can control the being and see through it's eyes in order to manipulate objects in the room, in other rooms, control or turn off/on electronics, ect. If it goes too far from her, a hundred yard radius, the distance can harm her physical body.
- Protective Shield: She can use the spirit attached to her to shield herself and allies. It appears as a field of stars. When hit, different constellations flash to indicate where the shield was struck.
- Offensive Stars: Tristan can use the glowing orbs of light in order to create bolt-like attacks. They can lay on her skin and burn an opponent to get them away from her. She can use flashes in order to blind them to run away. There are many different ways she can use the stars, particularly if she becomes creative with them.
- Weaknesses
- Physically, Tristan is a small girl. She can't fight one on one melee style and she can be easily overpowered if someone gets close enough to grab her.
- Her abilities wax and wane with the phases of the moon. They're strongest when the moon is full and weakest during a new moon.
- Nanna. If anyone threatens to hurt her nanna, Tristan will obey any command she can until she can ensure her nanna's safety.
