Walk in the Woods

Harunabe Kaza had been so kinda to give the young Nara control relatively early for a change considering he had accomplished his medical needs by speaking with the medical chiefs and senin of Konohagakure. Currently Sho however found himself leaning against a birch in the fields of the Maple District. It was relatively quiet out on the outskirts, a thin smile upon his lips as his sky blue eyes seemed to gleam in the random flickering of flames from the fire he conjured up earlier. Beside him was a small nap sack for Yuii to sleep in while he would stay up the entire time more than likely. In truth he didn't dare go to sleep while she wasn't back in Kumogakure, it just wasn't wise to do so.

Glancing to the side he would see where Yuii had run off to, his habit of losing her from time to time against the fact he wished to keep her within his sights all the time. Yes, Sho actually cared about the petite girl, perhaps it was the result of all the warm fun, some not so fun, and the slightly forced bonding in the beginning that had turned into something real. It was a nice feeling being able to watch over someone as they grew up, perhaps in time Yuii wouldn't need him to be her sensei anymore, but that could still be a ways off from now though, right?

Letting out a final sigh he leaned against the birch as he watched the sun start to set on the horizon, where was Yuii? It was going to get dark soon and it would be hard to locate the petite girl very soon. Turning his gaze to the tree lining he stood up and began to gaze along the edges of the tree lines for a familiar figure. Hopefully she would show up sooner than later, if not it wasn't going be easy for him to locate her in the dark in an unfamiliar village. In the end it was his fault for not keeping a better track of her.

"Now where did you go kiddo, what hassle this is becoming."

Closing his eyes he waited for another moment before considering taking off into the distance on a quest to find the youthful girl. Opening his eyes a worried expression etched upon his face, Sho was becoming to concerned over the girl

The dirt streets were interesting. After the rain her boots, hardy material meant for the cool temperatures of Kumogakure, would become covered in a brown mud that took hours to clean. On hot days a thick dust would rise from the tread of many feet and so she would become covered in a thin layer of gray. On damp days where the pressure of the changing weather weighed down heavily on everyone's shoulders there would be no excess but the bumpy texture of the road would become the days center piece as even she found it impossible to life her head. Wet and muddy; sunny and dusty; bleak and sad; that seemed to be the three kinds of weather Konoha had and in her limited life and memory these streets were becoming prominent.

Yuii hadn't meant to wander away this time but like all the start of all good adventures it had simply happened.

The mud caked her boots, it had rained the day before and finally she was ready to break down and admit that months more of travel time in such foot wear was no longer desirable. Never mind the rapidly changing seasons, as wisp had blatantly pointed out she wasn't a child anymore and stripping down to her underclothes was improper. Not that her sensei would mind, whatever that meant.

And so she she wandered off on her own special tangent in order to find, as Yuii would call them, "cute ninja shoes!". She had been followed as always by an invisible entourage with only her best interests at heart and so she had disappeared without so much as a 'Sensei, I will be right back'.

Besides, did Kaza really want to watch his little student scrutinize hundreds of pairs of shoes over the space of several hours which was broken only by uncomfortable questions asked of the village population? Improbable, as the gray ghost liked to point out, so they didn't bother to ask. It wasn't like Kaza would have been interested with waiting as she found new under and outer clothes either, no adult male really wanted to sit and give an opinion on blue bows versus gold and if silk was aerodynamically superior to cotton for their profession. Would ruffles get in the way, really, well he'd never get to input.

Children's undergarments, that was a given. What red blooded man cared about THAT.

So it wasn't until MUCH later that the girl returned carrying in her arms a bundle of new clothing all wrapped in a large square of cloth and her old muddy boots as she broke in her new sandals. She wasn't bouncing, which meant she probably hadn't had much sugar that day but she seemed pleased with herself. As always there was a lack of concern when it came to her lengthy disappearances; she knew Kaza could care for himself and knew she could care for herself' finding one another would be simple too because it just...happened. Kaza need not worry, just follow his instinct as the petite bluenette did.

"Ifoundshoes!" She gushed when she reached earshot, "And then we got to thinking and decided I needed some other stuff! I found kitty stockings that have extra guards against falling down! The nice man even gave me a second pair free cause he said I was cute!" Hefting her package above her head she waved it back and forth, "And then there were there cute pantsu with kitties and bears and the man there let me have discounts on them! The lady at the dress store said I can come back and rent clothes too, she said something funny. Something like loss and gain and... well she said I was cute too! Then there was the nice boys that bought me cake, I dunno why but it was cake so i couldn't say no! The one boy was really clumsy though, he kept falling down in front of me and, and he turned really red when I had to jump over him to not trip!"

The hazards of skirts.

"Boys are weird, its a good thing I'm allergic."

The rustle of a package soon caught his attention as Yuii appeared on the scene as if on cue. A sigh of relief swept through his body, he could have sworn this girl would be the cause of the first strand of gray to appear in his raven black hair. Raising an eyebrow Sho began to ponder how she happened to get these funds for such things that were littering the package she held so dear in her hands, in fact even with a discount why was he still paying for things for her? A soft sigh finally made its way out of his lips as he turned away from her.

Turning his head lightly to the side he called back to Yuii with a blank facial expression, not that she would see it of course. "I'm glad you are somehow able to come across the funds for such, perhaps next time I won't have to treat you and you can treat me." His voice trailed off near the end of this sentence as he walked back over to the birch tree and lightly sat down, leaning his head back against it. The flames flickered and danced shadows across his blank facial expression remained the same as he closed his eyes, he clearly wasn't as amused as he should have been by her news.

Looking away from where Yuii would be standing he let out a sigh and crossed his arms. It was growing increasing bad for his health to worry over her, though he questioned where in the course of there relationship that he had made the transition about caring for the young girls well being. The flames of the fire continued to flicker across his face as the sun still set in the sky, night would befall onto the spot soon enough. Perhaps he would just go to sleep early tonight, give Yuii the silent treatment for once, but he didn't see why he would even say such a thing.

Opening up his left eye he carefully glanced back over at her general direction and let out a silent sigh. "Let's agree to tell each other were we are going from now on alright?" A small snore issued from under his attire, a small white furred pup pressed lightly against his chest, sleeping soundly. The Inuzuka named Takara had given him this pup, whom he named Jiyuu, meaning freedom, awoke with a small yelp. Removing the dog from its warm comfort zone he gently placed the pure white furred pup onto his lap and stroked its coat lightly. A smile managed to make its way across his face before it once more went into a blank facial expression before closing his eyes once more. "Take these broken wings and learn to fly." This came out as a mere whisper, Yuii probably wouldn't hear such but he looked back over at her and gestured for the area he set up for her to rest for the night. "Want to show me what you got, aside from the clothing of course. Though you say you're allergic to boys, are you allergic to me as well?"

"That wasn't cake money, Kaza-sensei," Yuii replied, her voice sounding very much like it was mimicking someone else. In truth she had been reminded a good two dozen times that she wasn't supposed to buy cake with that money, today, and it had been burning a hole in her pocket all day."That was clothing money, I'm only allowed to use it for stuff I really, really need."

Clumsily she flopped onto the ground and let her many packages fall to the ground. With her sandled feet she pushed around the boxes until they were arranged in a semblance of orde. Through it all Kaza-sensei was oddly silent; not his usual silent self but a more foreboding silent that even Yuii could feel wasn't right. Alternating between peering at him through her lashes and picking at the ropes holding her packages.

"Uhn! I could but I didn't really know where I was going," She answered, the tension in her shoulders she hadn't realized was there releasing when he spoke to her again. Yuii could be quiet when she needed to be or wanted to be but she absolutely hated being on the receiving end of the silent treatment. In truth, Kaza has just dodged a bullet; her sensei didn't want to know what she might have done to get him to speak to her again.


"Kaza-sensei, you're a sensei not a boy. I'm not allergic to you cause you're big and old..." She cocked her head to the side then winced then added quickly, "Older! You're older not -old-!" Flustered

Yuii was in the middle of a transition. The blue haired child was still, essentially, a child in both body and mind and yet she was on the very cusp of beginning the journey into womanhood. Her mind was beginning to pay attention to proper and improper based on the women around her. The problem was, the women around her were either dead or her own age. She was getting muddled messages and so it was easiest to fall back on what was ok for a child. Case and point:

"I got all sorts of pantsu. See these ones have cute bears on them and these ones have kitties and these ones have sheep on them cause I think sheep are cute." Pulling her skirt up she flashed the kitty pattern then went on as if nothing important had happened. "I guess those are clothes tho. Uhm, uhm and I got... Kaza-sensei did you steal a puppy? Why is there a puppy? My sister wouldn't let me have a puppy, she said kitties were more  pra...pramactical?"

A small smirk formed upon his lips at being called old then suddenly not being old. He was only at the age of twenty, then again that was probably old to her right? Closing his eyes he leaned back against the tree as a serious of question started to lightly come at him in rapid succession, it was a shame she thought that he stole a puppy. Suddenly Yuii did something rather odd, she started to explain what type of clothing she bought and suddenly flashed him exactly what she meant without a moment of hesitation.

Unfortunately for Sho he was unable to advert his gaze and time, leaving him feel very ashamed to have witnessed such a thing from the petite girl. He lightly stuck his hand out in front of him, "I don't think you should be flashing me so carelessly anymore Yuii. Also, no I didn't steal the puppy, it was given to me. I am quite fond of her, I am taking her back to Kumogakure." Finally he closed his eyes once more.

How long had they been gone from home? It was hard to tell to say the least. Sho wasn't eager to return, but he was growing tired of being in Kohonagakure and needed to report back so he wouldn't be welcomed back by a very displeased kage. Sho still liked his head where it was and Kaza probably thought the same thing. In the end he let out a small sigh as a phrase left his lips, "How would you like to go to Kirigakure before go home? I think that would be fun. I haven't been back to my old home in a long time." Yes, Sho was still trying to give her the silent treatment for the time being by not saying as much as usual, the next phrase really seemed to annoy him to say, "Perhaps you can see Tat-.... It seemed he couldn't even finish the sentence. In all honesty he never met Tatsuya in Mist but it wasn't like his name wasn't thrown around. The idea of Yuii being enthralled with this person didn't rest well with him, "I want to head home first though I need to do something. What do you want to do?"

"Ehh? Uhm... okay Kaza-sensei," She replied, embarrassed not because of the action but because of his reaction. She didn't understand what she had done wrong, she wouldn't have done it if she had any inkling of that, but at her age being told no drove in the right or wrong of it. It was awkward now, her mind was on what she had done wrong but then he brought it back the the cute puppy in a not so great way.

"Back to Kumogakure," Yuii echoed with a nod, the words seeming foreign on her tongue. It shouldn't have seemed strange that Kaza would want to return to his home, it was his home after all, but Yuii had never stayed in one place long so she couldn't understand that attachment to place. In fact, she hated the idea of being tied to one place when her sister lived in another and all the friends she remembered from earlier years of her life.

She gestered for the puppy to come closer, coaxing it with cute sounds until she got it close enough to pet. It was really cute, almost cute enough to settle her mind until...


Yuii's ears pricked up at the familiar beginning to a familiar name. Tatsuya? She hadn't thought of him for a little while but she had been so preoccupied with thinking of Joji lately that she hadn't had time to think of her self proclaimed husband to be. Or was it wife. She didn't really care, girls were better anyways because she wasn't allergic to them.

Lifting up one of the boxes she peered inside through a crack then set it aside. She was seeking time to think, that would be easy for Kaza to tell. Power and potential didn't mean much without a quick mind and a lot of experience."Yeh... maybe," Yuii answered as she set the box down to her right in a newly started pile. "I like Tatsu-kun..."

So he wanted to go home and that was what this was about. The idea of going home without following through in her plan to save Joji made her stomach hurt a bit. Her friend was trapped and she was going to walk away without helping him? She knew she could do it, he just had to do it, but Kaza-sensei didn't deserve to be trapped with her. Besides, there was another problem with his plan.

"Snake-kun wont let me go again, Kaza-sensei. If we go back then we go back for good," With a troubled sigh she hugged her knees to her chest and rested her chin upon them. Yuii hadn't thought much about her last interaction with Kumogakure's newest Raikage, in fact she tried to never think of the terrifying man at all because he was so terrifying. She knew though that he wouldn't be happy with her, Auntie had told her that before she actually left. "I feel trapped in Kumo, he wont even let me see my sister anymore I bet and he scares me."

It seemed in the end her main concerns lay with the Raikage. To be honest Sho wasn't really to happy to be returning home, but it would better to home, well think about it rather than waiting so long. In the end it would only cause the two of them more trouble. Leaning closer to Yuii as she patted the pup he smiled softly trying to reassure her, "I will becoming back to Konohagakure more often from now on. If you want to come with me you can, so it you can do what you want here. I set up a program for medical shinobi to study here, it will give you a good excuse."

Finally Sho scratched at the back of his head before leaning back against the tree he found himself currently against. A small sigh escaped his lips, how long did she plan to stay here then? The offer he suggested seemed like it would be the best solution for her, but he doubted it would reassure her to any extent. Finally he opened his mouth once more to offer some advice and reassurance, "I promise 'Snake-kun' won't keep you there. I haven't let you down before right? Then I won't again. I'll protect you from him, I promise you that." It seemed he was trying assure her and himself at the same time with what he said, he had similar fears of not being able to leave once again, though the Nara felt semi confident he would be able to leave once more, "Let's go to Kirigakure first alright, then you can decide."

His facial expression remained blank, but behind the mask he put on he was fearful. A cold drop of sweat rolled down the back of his neck as he thought of his true home in Kirigakure. The people there, particularly two of them. His mother and Hitsuji. Sho wasn't on the best terms with his mother and not seeing her after so many years wouldn't rest well with him nor seeing the only girl he held true feelings for. Though this wasn't about him at the moment, it was about Yuii, right? What would happen if they returned to Kirigakure? Would they remember him? Would they recognize him? Probably, Sho and Kaza looked similar and he was a missing shinobi from Kirigakure, "I'll do what you want Yuii, if you want to stay here then so be it, I'll stay as well."

"You mean...I should give up now and come back later and try again?" Yuii's shoulders drooped a bit more as she mulled over what that meant. Kaza-sensei, her teacher, wanted, no, needed to move on now but he was trying hard to respect what she needed to do. At least, she hoped that was what he was doing because while she was a child she was not one easily deterred from her overall purpose.

Her Jo-ni was that purpose and even at her young age Yuii knew that when it came to other people's lives this was a serious matter. That was what Wisp always said anyhow and her ghostly friend, while not an expert in matters of village loyalty, had strong views on friendship and love. Auntie had been against it from the start, she always had discouraging words and probables but Wisp never stopped backing her. Would she be disappointed in Yuii if she backed away from now?

And what about Joji, he was locked up somewhere and probably pretty scared. Was it fair of her to give up this chance as failed and move on without trying harder? He might be really sick, he might be missing her terribly and here Yuii was leaving him. That just didn't sit right, and yet, what else was she supposed to do?

"I don't know..."

The conversation turned back to Koumyou and all Yuii could do was frown. It was alright, even sweet, that Kaza was pretending he was stronger than the Raikage himself but she knew better. Auntie had been very clear on how dangerous he was and what kind of costs came with that. If Kaza was on Snake-kun's bad side and she probably was too they were probably going to be punished when they got home. He would separate them too, just like he said he was going to before Yuii ran away and she didn't like that. Kaza-sensei needed her, he was really smart but he was also lazy and so Yuii wasn't so sure if he would be able to protect himself. Without her, well...

"Snake-kun eats birds and cats, Kaza-sensei. I-when we go home he wont let you be my Sensei anymore because, because he said he wasn't going to let you before we got away and..." She wiggled her toes nervously, unable to imagine the bad things that Koumyou could do. Of course the worst of it would be taking Kaza and cake away for ever.

Finally she nodded in concession. They would go to see her sister and Yuii would be able to regroup and maybe train a little. She would get to see Ren-nii, Tatsu and she certainly hadn't forgotten the latter's promise to take her to the zoo. She would admit defeat, for the first time in her life, and move forward.

"I...Kaza-sensei am I a bad ninja? I can't even find my friend. I can't rescue my friend but I'm a ninja so I should be able to do that right? I don't want to stay here any longer, we can go, but I feel so sad! I don't understand it!"

Yuii for once didn't seem to be talking in a rapid succession, it was slightly odd but nice at the same time. He lightly leaned over and looked at the young girl, raising an eyebrow lightly, "Snakes eat birds and cats? Has a snake ever been able to eat two at once? I doubt it. Regardless of how things work, this bird won't let the cute little cat be kept in a cage." With that he leaned back for a moment trying to think. Letting out a small sigh he shut his eyes until she spoke again. The last thing he saw her do was nod.

It was settled the two of them would leave and head towards Mist next. Suddenly Yuii seemed to question herself, she questioned her being a kunoichi. He frowned as he lightly stuck his hand out onto her head, ruffling her hair as per usual, that never seemed to grow tiring in the slightest, "You aren't a bad ninja, sometimes we can't do thing because of how young we are. You are a rose blooming, once you finish blooming you will be able to do whatever you want. Till then I will act as the thorns defending you, I won't allow you to get sad." Was he flirting with a child?

In all honestly he wasn't, he was just stating how he felt about Yuii and he wouldn't let anyone confuse her till she figured out her own path. Koumyou wouldn't stop him from allowing her to be free, Sho would be there. The Nara would step in do what was needed, it just how he was. Yuii was special to him, one of the few people he could trust and share secrets with, perhaps it was foolish he done such a thing with a child, but he couldn't care any less, "I promise we will come back, we will both do what you wanted to do, I won't let you come by yourself next time." Lifting his hand off her head, he gently leaned back, closing his eyes once more.

Letting out a small yawn he smiled softly to himself. Sho was slowly changing, he could feel it, Kaza noted it from time to time, but it finally dawned on him he was changing ever so slowly. Whether or not he was merging with Kaza, which was highly doubtful, he just felt that this young girl played a large role in his life, hopefully he could watch her blossom and take flight into the world, make it a better place.

"Bahhh i'm not worried about me, sensei! You're the one he'd gobble up and I don't want that!" Yuii protested, the closest she had ever come to verbally assuming she was the stronger of the two of them. But after such a long time being around Kaza, she knew it was true. He could do some things she couldn't but in the end she was superior in most basics.

Yuii squeaked and swatted at Kaza's hands as he went after her hair. She was used to him ruffling it and she didn't really but but sometimes she caught a glimpse in the mirror afterward and as time went by the mess bothered her more and more. She didn't roll around in the dirt much anymore either, or shrug off holes in her clothing.

Changing was scary and mentally Yuii promised herself to find a nice big puddle of mud and have a day of fun as soon as she could.

"Ew, Kaza -sensei bugs sleep on roses and they live outside in the mud!" Yuii protested, pulling her usual disapproving face. She understood the message, he was being nice, but when grown-ups said that kind of thing to her sister she always found the bad in their good words. Maybe grown -ups liked that? No, probably not if she thought back to the faces they made and the way they walked away.

"Kaza-sensei I didn't come alone either, you just can't see my friends," Yuii added in a grumpy tone. On a normal day, under normal circumstance she would never have let that information slip past her solidly constructed wall of social normality but today she just didn't care. She what if he thought she was a strange kid that had to make up friends to keep her company, just like everyone else seemed to think, Yuii knew they were real beyond a shadow of a doubt. They could touch her, they knew things she couldn't possibly know and most importantly they were the disembodied spirits of the dead.

She settled her chin back on her knees and contemplated saying more but in the end it was probably better to let him think she was a silly child. Kaza liked cute things, like puppies, and it probably didn't matter to him how smart they were.

"Neh... when will we be leaving?"

Yuii was getting older, she didn't really like him doing such things to her hair anymore, he chuckled lightly as his hand would be swatted away. He didn't pay any attention to the one comment about the mud, for now he would simply disregard that with the bugs as well. With a small smile he nodded his head as she mentioned not being alone, "I am not one to judge what is here in this world. After all you know my situation, I believe you did bring company with you, I wish I could see them, though maybe its for the best I can't, no?" With that he crossed his arms as he looked down, Jiyuu was falling asleep.

With a small yawn of his own he contemplated on when to leave. When would be the best time? Would someone let them out? What would happen upon arrival at Mist? Yuii didn't have a passport, they were lucky to get in this time, though she mentioned she knew Tatsuya but perhaps that wouldn't be enough to get them in this time. There was always the possibility of him lying to get in, he still had his old Kirigakure attire, his old ANBU mask, and of course cloak. That was a last resort to say the least, Whats wrong? Nothing, I just was thinking I need more time. I understand, I can give you more time but you will owe me. Understood. With that he ended the conversation in his head.

With a small sigh he stood up and held out his hand to Yuii. Was she getting to old to grasp him by the hand and for him to lead the way? Unlike last time he knew how to get to Kirigakure, though he felt cold sweat run down the back of his neck. His facial expression not longer happy, he feared going back to Kirigakure. The place he ran from, Hitsu, his mother, everyone. The emptiness in his heart that he thought he had filled began to tear open as he knew he was getting closer to returning home. What would happen? Before Yuii could grasp his hand he sat down once more. He lightly leaned back, his head near her, it wasn't the most comfortable spot to be.

The voice of the Nara wavered for a moment as he looked up at her, "When we get to Kirigakure, I can get us in, though getting out will be hard. I know you know I'm from there but..." Pausing he tried to remain calm as he usually would, but something didn't allow him to do such a thing, he wanted to tell her he feared the place, though he chose not to. Smiling softly he shook his head and forced a smile upon his lips, "We will leave in the morning if you are up for it."

Yuii's eyes widened slightly then a deep shade of red appeared on her cheeks. Kaza had known her secrets all along and he had never said a word until now. It was shameful of her to have kept it a secret until now when she could have come out and just said something. Kaza understood because he was like the spirits she spoke to. "Oh, I guess you kinda...are," dead. The word hung unspoken at the end and yet it remained so only because she didn't want to remind him of that fact. Kaza was a special case, he'd found a host willing to share his body, but he was still dead and it was likely he forgot that fact.

"Ne-nekomimi s-says you're not trying hard enough, that's all," The doll was in her bag somewhere so the line was an admittance to the special role the doll played in her life and translating the information she was given. Luckily she still had a good number of years where dragging around a doll and talking to it wouldn't be too odd.

Kaza seemed troubled and Yuii amazed herself by having even realized it. Gently she patted his arm to reassure him of whatever was making him worried then she tilted to lean on his arm. He had a plan to get them in but Kaza wasn't the only one with connections in mist and hers were probably better.

"I can get in by myself..." the silence behind that statement  made her realize there was a lot she needed to fill in for Kaza before they arrived in Kirigakure. She had been putting off telling him much of anything about her past up until now but the charade they might need to put together was very important.

"Kaza-sensei I know the Mizukage. He was dating my sister when she sent me away but he just knows me the same way my sister knows me. Nii-chan didn't want me to become a ninja, she sent me to Kumogakure to my auntie who was supposed to send me to a city up north except auntie died before I got there and since she was dead she couldn't really stop me from doing what I really wanted. Ren-nii promised to take me to the zoo, Tatsuya follows Ren-nii everywhere and if Ren-nii marries my sister and I marry Tatsuya then we can all be together always." A slight shade of pink rose to her cheeks, perhaps she was starting to see how silly that line of thinking was. Still, she kept on with it because her illusion future was sweeter then the truth. "When I went last time my sister was really worried because I didn't have a passport but they said cause I'm a kid I don't need one. I guess... I'm kinda a citizen of Kirigakure too cause of my sister, its really complicated."

Well it wasn't her best explanation but hopefully he had followed along well enough. Still she didn't feel she was quite understood so she tried again, "My sister isn't a ninja anymore but she knows important people. I think I can get us both in, just, you have to either pretend to be my guard or my teacher but not a ninja." She stopped thoughtfully, tilting her head to listen to the people he couldn't see but should have been a part of, "Auntie says that the treaty they signed didn't extend to non-ninjas so maybe pretending to be normal people would be better then you getting stuck in Mist pretending to be one of their ninjas. I know its not really pretending but that's not your body and fake-Kaza probably doesn't want to be a Mist shinobi. Auntie remembers him liking home."

So they were leaving in the morning? Then she would have to send a few quick goodbyes once Kaza went to sleep but there was no hope of finding Joji in that time Still, she had developed a routine and would stick by it.

"In the morning? O, oka-" her sentence was cut off by a long yawn. She had, after all, done a lot that day between training, shopping and searching. The puppy really did have the right idea.

It seemed Yuii slightly comforted him, which was odd, he wasn't used to that sort of thing. Somehow he wasn't really surprised by the story, though he was more or less afraid someone might reconigize him as a murder from Kirigakure. Something Yuii would never know about, something he would never tell her. That was the low end of this life, a road he would never travel down. Shutting his eyes he let out a small yawn as he felt himself dozing off. Opening his eyes ever so slowly, the young Nara began to talk slowly, "You are always full of surprises aren't you. Though haven't you ever thought about how old Tatsuya is compared to you? Not that it bothers me if you were to marry him..."

Why he added in the last part was beyond him. With a small sigh he closed his eyes once more. There was more things in life important than worrying about the fantasy of a young child, well that one anyway. In all honesty he wouldn't allow for Yuii to commit herself to such a person, though it wasn't as if he could stop her from leading her own life. The thing that seemed to now strike him odd was him perhaps pretending to be a civilian would be best, though he wasn't sure he could do that, then again he could just act his normal self.

In the end it would try to play that role till they got into the village. On an interesting side note, who was Yuii's older sister? How would she react to Yuii traveling around? Swatting at the air, as if brushing aside thoughts he finally allowed sleep to almost take over as he muttered one last set of words, "Sweet dreams, Yuii." With that the Nara went silent.
