- Platform: DOS
- OS: Ubuntu 21.10, Linux kernel 5.13.0-35-generic
- libTAS: Version 1.4.3
- PCem: TASVideos v17+st-1
- Game: Ford Simulator III
- This movie is based on the premade Late 80s PCem config: http://files.tasvideos.org/common/Wiki/pcem/dos/PCem-Late80s.7z
- Follow the readme provided with the config to install it. Name the files ford3.cfg, ford3.deskpro386.nvr, and ford3.img.
- The config will need the ROM files ibm_vga.bin in the ~/.pcem/roms/ folder plus 109592-005.u11.bin and 109591-005.u13.bin (these are all case-sensitive) in the ~/.pcem/roms/deskpro386/ folder.
- Make a new folder and put the files for Ford Simulator III in it. The files and their MD5s are:
- 2af66b8f02c0ffc0af7f6ac4b100c5f2 ARCADE.EXE
- a406a3355e78d766b2087c3901c859e8 ARCADE.HSC
- 96f4d87bab59c5ea0023b63e9deff710 FEAT.DAT
- c865bb93cc569993cbcdc63a4ab5d6fb FORDDATA.GLB
- 8f962f85f4216fa89228f4e8a27c603d FORD.EXE
- af9a4882ea589ac06fb5bf2dfab792b2 FORD.GLB
- 5ec6df77e6fc7983c12a0d4eb1e25ae2 FORDSIM.RSC
- 2a3fafdfd54b9108557cfce5fa70c033 SHOWROOM.EXE
- Make an ISO of these files with this terminal command, substituting the path to the folder you just made: mkisofs -o ford3.iso /path/to/folder/
- In ford3.cfg, set cdrom_drive = 200, cdrom_path = /path/to/ford3.iso, and hdc_fn = /path/to/ford3.img.
- Use PCem as the executable and set the command-line options to "--config /path/to/ford3.cfg".
