  3. Lucky Cat Roadhouse - Bar(#14304RM)
  4.
  5. The Lucky Cat Roadhouse - a small intimate honkytonk type of a dive bar joint!
  6.
  7. The lighting in the roadhouse is low and dim, and the the air is kept perpetually cool. There's a jukebox in one corner of the long rectangular room. A small parquet dance floor anchors the center of the space. Towards the back, opposite the entrance, is a long bar. Behind the bar are bottles of cheap booze, along with a tap for a few select local craft brews. Off to the side of the bar opposite the jukebox is a small raised wooden stage for live music performances. Over on the other end of the bar opposite the stage are a few billiards tables, and storage for the cue sticks and balls.
  8.
  9. A door behind the bar leads to a small kitchen that prepares snacks and basic bar food meals to accompany the drinks. Another door behind the bar is marked "PRIVATE" that when opened reveals a set of stairs leading up.

  20. Mo was at the bar this evening, knocking back a few pints of whatever local craft brew of the week was on tap. The vibe was chill and relaxed, an acoustic act on stage - just a woman and her guitar.
  21.
  22. Morgan enters into the unfamiliar bar, and looks around curiously taking in the sights thoughtfully, trying to get a feel for the atmosphere and culture of the area. As she spots her client and steps closer him to join him at the bar, "Good evening Mister Mo. I am glad we could get together tonight. I hope the evening finds you well?"
  23.
  24. Mo looks up from his beer, and over a shoulder as Morgan arrives. An eyebrow arches. "Just Mo, no mister. And the beer is cold, and the music tolerable. so, yeah, not too shabby."
  25.
  26. Morgan nods understandingly, "Mo it is then, It is a nice place to come to for a evening, and you are right about the music, it is not bad. This is not where you wanted the mirrors at though?" When the bartender approaches she orders, "A bottle of water please?" She smiles at him like that is of course a silly question to ask.
  27.
  28. "The tap water up this way is actually pretty good," says Mo with a chuckle. "And no, my spot is upstairs. But it's still a work in progress, so no harsh judgments."
  29.
  30. Morgan laughs at that and nods to the barkeep, "Tap water it is then, in a to go cup if that is alright? I will trust your judgement, as I have not had the pleasure to try it, and it seems tonight will be a first, and no judgements whatsoever Mo. I am here to help in part with your work in progress."
  31.
  32. Mo nods and grabs his pint of beer, then hops off the barstool. "Ok. Up we go then." A smile as he leads Morgan back around behind the bar towards the door marked "PRIVATE". Opening the door, he allows her first egress up the stairs. "After you."

  35. Morgan moves to Lucky Cat Roadhouse - Loft
  36.
  37. Lucky Cat Roadhouse - Loft(#14336R)
  38.
  39. A simple loft style apartment. The space is one single open floor plan. There's an area that serves as a kitchen. A bathroom. A bed that is neatly made and a wardrobe. The windows are large, floor to ceiling affairs. Heavy drapes serve to keep out the sunlight when drawn. Exercise equipment is arrayed off to a corner of the room - a set of free weights including a bench, a barbell, a pair of dumbbells and various weight plates on a rack.

  45.
  46. Mo trudges up the stairs after Morgan, joining her in the loft apartment up above the roadhouse. "The good thing about the open floor plan is that I can do whatever I want with it. The bad thing is that I can do whatever I want with it," he offers with a grin before knocking back the last of his beer and setting the glass down.
  47.
  48. Morgan graciously accepts the invitation to lead the way up the stairs into the loft apartment, and steps to the side to allow him to come up first, and show her his apartment. "I am certain you have a vision of the end result Mo, and thank you for allowing me to be part of helping you decorate it. Already I am thinking that a simple long mirror will be appropriate for the space, as you truly do not want it to feel too crowded in here." As her eyes wander around the space and she steps in a little further. She is amused by his assessment of the area though, "You find it difficult to style the room on your own Mo? What is the mood you wish to evoke?"
  49.
  50. A shrug, "I dunno. I mean, I'll get it all straight to make for the best feng shui once I settle on all the pieces of art and furniture and stuff, but settling on all the pieces of art and furniture and stuff is the hard part." A bashful shrug from the man as Mo sighs.
  51.
  52. Morgan offers reassuringly, "I think if you are going feng shui, you want to keep the colors warm. Medium shades of blue, cremes maybe, but I am curious, with everything already in here, do you plan to keep what is in here, in here?"
  53.
  54. Mo considers the question from Morgan, giving it thought. "I dunno. I can do whatever I want with the place. I won it from the owner on a bet," he says with a bright grin. "Everything included. Blank canvas, y'know?"
  55.
  56. Morgan smiles at that, "I wish I could have won my home from a bet, but I was able to decorate and set it up exactly how I wanted it, rebuilding the house. May I ask what are your favorite colors Mo?"
  57.
  58. "Green. Red. Maybe a little bit of yellow. In that order?" Mo makes his way over to get himself a glass of water before making his way back to join Morgan. "But believe me when I say that we can do whatever we want to this place. I just haven't had the time to get around to it."
  59.
  60. Morgan smiles at the thoughts, "I really like the colors you have chosen but we are going to have to make them tasteful, and fit into the feng shui theme, so that you are happy to return here, and relax." She sips at her water. I like the thought of using white as a base color and then building up the other colors, through the decor, including the mirror, in various shades of colors that speak to you."
  61.
  62. "Totes. We don't even haveta use them all, I was just sharing the ones I like. Green is my most favorite, though. Lots of shades to work with there, right?" Mo takes a sip of water from his glass and studies Morgan over the rim.
  63.
  64. "Maybe we can use lost of blues and greens? That'd be nifty." Mo sets the water down and takes a long look around. "Thanks for all this. You're a real lifesaver."
  65.
  66. Morgan smiles gently, "I think there are really creative ways to incorporate them all, through art and pieces of decor, and preserve the harmony you are seeking. But you asked for me to help with the mirror truly, and I think the more simple the better. We will want to keep the mirror on the wall on the side of the bed, instead of the foot of the bed, otherwise it is thought to bounce energy around to much and cause restlessness. I would not want to be responsible for you not getting a good night's sleep. I really like the idea of Greens and blues too, reminds me of the sky and grass. Truly tranquil and warm."
  67.
  68. Mo nods. "Totes, doll. Totes." A hand comes up to brush back errant locks of hair from his face. "How long have you been doing all this? It a lifelong passion for you, or something more recent?"
  69.
  70. Morgan smiles warmly at him, "Archaeology, restoration, creating pieces, have been with me as long as I can remember. My work keeps me focused and out of trouble Mo, and I can not think of anything more I would rather do than help people when I can. For you this about helping you create a space you feel home at. We should all have a haven we feel safe and peaceful in."
  71.
  72. Mo returns the smile as Morgan shares a little bit about herself with him. "That all sounds quite lovely. The work you do, I mean. It's important to recognize and honor the past. We can't really learn from it otherwise."
  73.
  74. "I don't do anything quite so romantic. My vocation is decidedly a whole lot more prosaic," Mo offers with a crooked grin. "But interesting nonetheless."
  75.
  76. Morgan tilts her head as she studies Mo thoughtfully, "If you will give the chance, I will help you as much as you like, if it is just help with the Mirror or the entire room, please let me know. I know this was a chance to let me see the space to help create the mirror for you, and then I sort of got a bit excited by the blank canvas. But I can reign in my thoughts too." She bites her lip and thinks about it a moment. "Will it just be you staying here, or do you have a partner as well?"
  77.
  78. "Doll, if you can help me tackle and re-work the whole thing, I would be in your debt. I'll take you with me on my next outing to the casino and give you all my winnings for the evening, be your lucky rabbit's foot, that sorta thing." Mo leans back against a wall and relaxes a little. "And it's just me. I've been thinking of getting a dog or a cat, but haven't gotten 'round to it."
  79.
  80. Morgan smiles at that thought, "You know I hear there is a fantastic pet shop, called Fellowship of the Paws, you might look around there if you are serious about a dog or cat." She shakes her head, "Alright I will help you tackle the entire room from top to bottom. It will be an experience for us both and be in true feng shui fashion. It may take me longer to finish the mirror though, while designing the room for you. I will draw up some sketches for you to choose from as well." She offers her hand gently to him as well, "And for now I will let you get some rest Mo."
  81.
  82. Mo takes the hand and gives it a grateful squeeze. "Thanks. I know we're a bit out of the way up here. Maybe next time I can give you the nickel tour. There's a real nice shinto shrine down the way that I like spending time at. If you wanted to, I mean."
  83.
  84. Morgan gently squeezes his hand in return and smiles warmly, "I would truly love to see more of the area Mo, and I will take you up on the offer, but I insist on paying a quarter!" She teases him lightly, clearly she has a bit of a sense of humor too.
  85.
  86. Morgan has left.
