143. Public Affairs Division Recruitment [OPENED]
144.
145. [divbox=white]
146. San Andreas Fire Departement
147.
148.
149. >> Introduction:
150.
151. The Public Affairs Division is tasked with maintaining channels of communications with the citizens and media agencies of Los Santos, ensuring a positive and accurate image of the SAFD is upheld. They accomplish this through liaising with the public and media by means of, for example, regularly providing accounts of significant events or incidents, publicizing any meaningful department changes, and interacting with the public in department events (ie. rallies). PR members will represent the SAFD through all available media avenues - television/radio-broadcasted interviews, press/news conferences, blogs, breaking news feeds, and more. It is our mission to ensure that the SAFD is both conspicuous and reputable - a successful department is one that works with the public.
152.
153. Public Affairs contains two type of people, graphics designers and writers. Together they work to produce the monthly bulletin, publications as well as organizing events for the San Andreas Fire Department. They play an important role throughout the month and are expected to provide input on as much as they can.
154.
155. >> Requirements and Prerequisites:
156.
157. 1. Have a great effort within SAFD.
158. 2. Have a relatively clean internal record and a history of professionalism.
159. 3. Be a proficient and adept public speaker.
160. 4. Be competent in English language and grammar.
161.
162.
163. >> Why join PA?
164. You see, PA is not a boring sub-division as many, many people think it is. We are not here to just write up boring Press Releases or Monthly Bulletins every day - no, we are here for a bigger purpose. The job of the Public Affairs Division is to put on a good face for the SAFD. It is our job to host some of the most entertaining public events, from Drug Awareness Day to the Annual Open House, or even a blood drive - we are the ones that put those together. We work alongside the other Government Departments to throw together events such as the 9/11 Memorial. We are not boring, we are here to have fun, to make our department fun, and to put on an accurate face of our Department for the public.
165.
166. (( On an OOC note, you do NOT need to be perfect with English grammar. Not every part of PRD is writing, you aren't required to be an English expert. We are willing to accept anyone, no matter how well you speak English. We have multiple opportunities for everyone, so don't let that be a reason to scare you off. ))
