face claim + physical description: @la_vie_enrose__ (kim hyun jin) + she has a very strict, older sister kind of feel that flows from her body. she’s tall, around 167cm, with lanky legs and a slender figure that made her look like a human version of a doe gracefully walking around. she has pale, alabaster skin - something that her parents had made her keep up for the sake of ‘keeping her chastity as a future wife’ - with her blue-green veins visible underneath the thin layer of skin. her black hair cascades halfway down her back in an effortless glamour, wispy bangs shadowing her forehead as they frame her face. her eyes were black, ravenous, piercing, and fearsome, but they held a depth that seemed bottomless, reflecting the mask of a void that she has to use to hide her true thoughts.

intelligence: 7/10 ; it’s no doubt that she’s incredibly educated. she reads, she observes, she questions, she ventures, even if she’s confined just to the library in her family’s fortress. she educates herself by researching, and she’s by far one of the minds who’s wisdom was way beyond her age. her late grandmother was the one who taught her about how the world worked and the harshness of the world, and when she passed away when she was in her teenage years, she took it upon herself to be a self-directed learner, and a leader, amongst every other burden that her parents had forced upon her shoulders.

honesty: 9/10 ; while she has a sharp tongue and a blunt mind, she never says anything unless it was needed. her honesty is really brutal - if anyone asks for her absolute honesty, they have to take it professionally and not take it to heart. she’s just . . that harsh with her tongue. sometimes, her honesty hurts others due to its callousness. she makes it a point to apologise partially because she feels like while it may be her fault to hurt them, they kind of asked for her absolute honesty, so there was no room to really escape the truth.

dedication: it depends on the situation, so she’s either dedicated 10/10, or doesn’t give two shits about it. there needs to be something that benefits her in the long run or concurrently that will boost her dedication rate significantly.
fearfulness: generally, it’s a 7/10. around strangers, it’s slightly scarier at a 9/10. around the people that she care for, if she has to be on the offensive (meaning that they hurt her beloved ones), she’s a straight up demon.

humour: her humour is really dry, dark, witty and sarcastic. it’s difficult to catch, only a couple of people of high intellect would be able to catch seamlessly, so i think i’d rate her humour at a 4/10 since i’m not sure how to place such a sardonic humour lol

loyalty: she isn’t one who would outrightly display her loyalty just like that. she’s kind of like a snake, she would slither past the crevices and the cracks and into the same boat of loyalty that everyone carries. she doesn’t strictly align herself with just one side, because she looks at everything from a bird’s eye view before focusing on the nitty gritty details. just like her humour, i’m not too sure to where on the scale would i put her loyalty on, so i’ll also put a 4/10.

conceit/pride: despite being in a family of wealth and power, she’s not exactly the most conceited. she’s more prideful than she is conceited, but not to the point where she’s borderline egotistical. she takes her credit for what she does and did, and she isn’t the type to steal the credit from someone else’s hard work (do you get what i’m tryna day? lmaO) so i’ll place her on a 5/10.

competitiveness: okay, being the eldest child, she didn’t have to worry much about competition. she loves her younger siblings dearly, and she has absolutely zero reason to be competitive, which makes her parents frown upon her at times. but when it comes to things where something important is at stake, her competitiveness would absolutely skyrocket - she would even betray her own values to make sure that nothing is at an extreme loss. so i’d probably put her at a 4/10, until something really big and bad happens, which would probably reach a 9/10.



personality: [intp, ambiverted] haru is a very adaptable, responsible, tactful, resourceful person, yet she can be reckless, tactless, cunning, and a straight up bitch. she knows how to manoeuvre with the different personalities of the different people, she knows how to get her way with things without doing too much on her part. she knows how to be careful and poke at the right buttons to make people submit to her. she’s very also tactical and strategic, and observant, and she doesn’t like getting her emotions in the way of things. her natural responsibility and her straightforwardness with things had shaped her into a somewhat decent leader with adequate leadership skills. she doesn’t like beating around the bush. she also hates it when people are so obnoxiously insecure, it just makes her so pissed to the point of her wanting to rip their throat out, even more so when she can see their potential of shining so brightly.
   that’s only just the surface, however. beneath the somewhat calm, slytherin-esque stupor, she just wants reassurance that it’s alright to be vulnerable. she can get pissed rather easily, but she can easily deceive others by maintaining her own body language of indifference and calmness, and bottling everything up. her sharp mind causes her to spread out to the many possibilities, but it’s a rare occasion to find her so distressed over the possibilities of what could potentially unfold. she overthinks, and it sometimes makes her really anxious and antsy. she was made to grow up where ambition is key, and she had no room for imperfections or mistakes. naturally, it made her a perfectionist, but she's trying to stray from that path as much as she possibly can.
   and beneath all of that, lies a young girl trapped in a cage of her own high expectations and her parents’ burdens. she’s lonely, she’s dangerous, she’s reckless, she’s stressed, but she’s caged. she wants an escape, an outlet, for all of the pain that she’s absorbed. she just wants to be happy, but ironically, she's unsure on whether she's worth of happiness.

background: haru comes from a family swimming in money. her mother is an investor, her father a businessman. they’re both really smart in where and how to invest and work their way to the top of the industry, so they’re basically swimming in money and wealth. her younger siblings are studying in ivy league universities, and her younger sibling who’s the second eldest is about to graduate medical school. she became an investor alongside her mother, training to be the heir of her father’s company, or if not, to continue what her mother does. her parents were borderline misogynistic, so she constantly tries to go against her parents.

their first meeting: their first meeting . . i think i'd want it to be something unexpected, uncute, and something not so cliched? i think it would be something humorous if he walked in on the girls arguing while wandering around on the island, and he's somewhat intrigued by the words that haru says, because not only is it unconventional, but it's also not something that he would expect from a girl who looks like she came from a relatively rich family. he would break up the fight, and told haru to walk with him, and she would be so against it. she wanted to say no, but she knew that she needed to clear her mind from the intrusive thoughts, so she went and violaaaa! is that cringe and cliche? lmao-

how they act around each other: in the beginning, i believe it would be normal for the both of them to be intrigued with each other - one of them holds wisdom beyond her age, and the other, knowledge beyond his. naturally, they would try to be witty and come up with reasons to talk to each other, until haru just straights up goes to him and says that she wants to get to know him better. as their relationship builds, they get more closer, more intimate, until haru realises how close that she was letting him in, and she was unsure on whether she wanted to let him tear her walls down. eventually, she drifts away once again, until she was confronted for it, and then they build their relationship back up from there, and then it gradually gets stronger and more intimate. they're no longer just beating around the bush.
