  1. A hundred years ago, a nameless warrior came back to his homeland after fighting in the fierce war of the North.
  2. The war had been going on for 60 years and - the once young warrior - was recruited halfway in the war and was ripped away from his family. After training for years, the young man quickly picked up the power of the mighty war hammer and was a force to be reckoned with on the front lines. Soon, the mighty warrior was promoted to the commander of the once-mighty Army of the North. By then he had killed a thousand beasts and creatures, two of which being Northern Dragons. After 25 years, the war seemed to be over. Our warrior had made many friends along the way. One night, they were singing songs, drinking beer and celebrating their victory, but soon the joy was over, for they had celebrated too early. On that night, the most feared dragon in the North, Hryðjuverk, once only thought to be a myth, came out of nowhere and destroyed the main base of the Army of the North. The friends quickly ran out of the bar, being too drunk to fight and all got slain by the claws of the dragon. The Army of the North was officially destroyed. Days later, the warrior was found by the Mentor, under the remains of the base.
  3. The warrior woke up, finding himself in an icy cave. The Mentor appeared to be a dragon himself, but much smaller than a normal dragon would be. The Mentor explains to him who he is and what is happening. The Mentor was the royal advisor of Hryðjuverk, but because Hryðjuverk was desperate for power and went on the path of destruction, the advisor was abandoned. The Mentor explained to him that Hryðjuverk had to be killed, otherwise he would let the North fall into chaos, and the entire world soon after.
  4. The only way to kill Hryðjuverk was by using only the finest materials, combined with perfect smithing. And so they went on a journey to the dwarves on the highest mountain in the North, known for their excellent weaponsmithing. Once there, they were greeted by the dwarf Von. Von, an excellent craftsman and great friend of the Mentor, explains that the mountain contains the best materials found in the entire world: Splektrium and Adinite. Splektrium, as strong as a dragon's scale, but as light as a feather. Adinite, as unbreakable as bedrock, but as heavy as a Rock Lobster. Combined, they made the war hammer, capable of killing Hryðjuverk: Máttur.
  5. In that icy cave, the warrior spent the next few years learning the way of the Máttur. Hryðjuverk, on the other hand, was building up his army, yet again, stronger than before.
  6. And so they went on to face the mighty dragon, fearing Hryðjuverk might release his army soon. The battle between the warrior and Hryðjuverk was felt through the entire North, it rippled the surface and burned the skies. Unfortunately, the Mentor had been caught in the crossfire by Hryðjuverk’s massive blades. Devastated and enraged, the Warrior dealt the final blow on Hryðjuverk’s skull, which marked the ending of the war of the North.
