Hojong was born in Daegu, South Korea with his mom, father, and older sister. Hojong was born into a wealthy family as his father had won the lottery when Hojong's mother was 5 moths pregnant with him. As amazing as it sounds, it happened and he grew up in Seoul were his parents bought a nice house and gave them good education. He had a pretty nice lifestyle, and he and his sister were even known for their beautiful and handsome looks. Seemingly a perfect life was sort of what Hojong had. Growing up through high school though, Hojong wanted to be a dancer as that was his passion. In school he never really paid attention, but somehow, he graduated high school and his parents allowed him to try out for an entertainment company. He had auditioned and gotten into SM entertainment on his first try. Now, he is a background dancer for many groups, and is a cameo in multiple music videos too. I guess you could say that's all he wanted in life, and it was perfect, but he just wants someone to share it with.

He would be actually quite sad. The people that were the contestants all seem to catch his eye so he would put his panic away and actually feel bad and hug them. He would also be hiding happiness as he and Kyulkyung were getting to the top.
