What do you think he's sad about? Did Blitzo dump his ass? Did Octavia run away because she's sick of her parents and their bullsht? Did he just now realize that the milk in his cereal is spoiled?

Likely has something to do with Blitzo.

Quickest take I have is Stolas becomes aware of Blitzo's past relationships, and discovers his reputation for dishonesty and unfaithfulness (which is amusing considering he's cheating on his wife).

Maybe a revelation that Blitzo has no true feelings for Stolas (or at least claims to not have any, he may have feelings for Stolas for all we know) may set off his depressive spiral

If he gets reckoned on it'll be by Stolas. We've seen that he's capable of some serious shit. When he gets spurned, the only thing keeping anyone safe is going to be his own self control.

We do see what appears to be a Human hand trying to shake hands with Cletus during their commercial. Makes you wonder if Human souls retain their Human appearance in Heaven or if its just some kind of gag with the advertisement.

We have humanoid (ostensible) angels in the exterminators. But I just noticed that the cherubs all have pretty basic smooth rings as halos while the exterminators have weird shit on them. I wonder what that means.

Probably denotes some sort of rank. I imgine Cherubs are like Imps, Heaven-born and considered the lowest rank of angels.

I'm not sure I get Fallen Exterminator. Why don't they think they're in Hell or think that Charlie and everyone are demons?

One of the idea is that the Exterminators' masks make Hell seem far worse than it is, which is why they attack random sinners so readily. Charlie at least has the loose countenance of the angels (her father was, after all, an archangel), and Vaggie's relatively normal-looking for a sinner.
I think it understands it's in Hell, just not, well HELL Hell.
Not the Hell of Sinners, but rather, something unique to his own kind.

So wouldn't it be obvious to a group of writers and an entire team?

Were they gay? It was a re-enactment but the re-enactors look just like them. Just call it a flashback. These episodes make me so angry with how poorly written they are.

That would have been cheating amd he was too proud of himself for tricking age.
He could have built himself a golden exoskeleton that could lift 7000 tons but he just wanted everything to be natural and not cheat

Its a plot hole.

An easily fixable one if they threw in a single line about how the machine broke down after it was used, or how the core component of the machine is extraordinarily expensive and difficult to manufacture and breaks on use, and that Lyle simply could not get a new component in a reasonable timeframe before he dies of old age, which would explain why only the ultra rich could ever afford to use it.
