  1. Naetoma's barbed vine begins snaking it's way up Deo's leg. "You may not like the piece of me you get" she said with a devilish hiss.
  2. (Naetoma)
  3. Deo stands defiantly against Naetoma as he couldn't help but to stare into her jade hues and gives her a loving smile. He allowed for the barbed vine to snake it's way up his leg as he continued to hold his ground.
  4.
  5. "Try me." he retorted
  6. (Deo)
  7. Naetoma's vine constricts around his leg, and attempts to pull his let out from under him. If he wasn't going to fight her, she would drag him to the pits herself.
  8.
  9.
  10. Oonga Boonga
  11. (Naetoma)
  12. Deo allows for Naetoma to drag him away.
  13. (Deo)
  14. Naetoma's eyes were fierce and perhaps a tad bit irked, as they narrowed on Deo with a predatory precision. The same vines that had dragged him into the arena finally released him. Although, not before constricting quickly and allowing the barbes to really sink into the flesh before they unraveled.
  15.
  16. Slithering back to her side they coiled and prepared for battle, dancing as if to a snake charmers song. As Naetoma continued to glower at Deo, water began to dew around her form and circle around her until it formed a full field of protection around her body.
  17.
  18. "Begin"
  19. (Naetoma)
  20. Deo allowed himself to be dragged through the building and through the center of the tribe. Only to be brought inside the arena and finally released. During this, he caught glances from Lex and Itotia. Which didn't bother him that much, what pushed him over was something that had been bothering him for sometime. Something that was locked away inside of him. During the time he was being dragged. He hid his face within the long lengths of his hair, not saying a word as he was finally allowed to stand up.
  21.
  22. Silent, he returned to his old self. Standing straight, he gave Naetoma a blank stare. It would've felt as if he was staring into her soul. His eyes didn't hold a blazing rage of fire though, no. It was an ocean, a calm deep sea that swallowed everything.
  23.
  24. Reaching for his blade, he pulled it from it's sheath and continued his advance on her. His orange hue's never letting her out of his sight as his blade caught on fire. Without saying a word,he just kept coming at her. In a slow, and menacing walk.
  25. (Deo)
  26. The battle that Deo and Naetoma was quite the brutal one. Rushing after Naetoma again and again without a word. Which was unusual for the wild one. His movements were swift as it looked as if he was dancing wildly around in the arena. Chasing after his prey and swinging his sword around in a wild manner, but somehow his hits always connected.
  27.
  28. A flash of silver blurred through the air as he cut away at the multitude of thorn vines that kept coming his way. Debris flew everywhere as the thorned vines shot out of the ground and drove towards his path. But that didn't matter to Deo has he simply cut them away with his blade as he advanced onto Naetoma.
  29.
  30. Not once did his path stray as he was tunneled visioned on her, even when she kidnapped his sight he relied on his other senses to guild his path to her and they were right.
  31.
  32. Thorns suck out of his body. ice spikes pierced his armor and dug into his skin slightly. But in all, he tanked most of the brute force coming his way. Not wavering not even once.
  33.
  34. The climax was approaching however as Deo saw an opening, a split second Naetoma had left herself open and Deo took his chance to dash past the gap that separated the two and raised his sword high with one hand. He brought it down, aiming to slice her upon her face. With the way his blade was aiming it was going to spilt her left eye vertically and probably leave a lasting scar on her face. Only that he was surprised when he felt a sensation on his chest. Bringing his hand down quick, he planned to strike her as fast as he could before she could manage to attack him. But he was to late as frost had already traveled up his torso and to his arm.
  35.
  36. A blast of frost followed and it covered him whole. Once again he was frozen in a block of ice, this time he was completely frozen over. Would've probably given Naetoma the win. He glared her through the solid block of ice he was captured, knowing that she felt relieved that he was finally defeated and she claimed victory.
  37.
  38. It was just that he was prepared this time for her, he wasn't about to be defeated by the same trap twice.
  39.
  40. A crack appeared on the outer edge as steam followed outwards. Moments later two as Deo sent out waves of heat. One in a smaller burst, a second in a slightly larger one. He'd then send out a couple more as the small area around him started to melt. Raising his left hand, he pulled it back prepared to break the ice and free himself. But Naetoma prevented that as she pushed in more power into the blood, incasing him once more. So the thought came to mind, if fire wasn't going to work. Then his brute strength was going to.
  41.
  42. Feeling the mana within his circuits burn to life, Deo hulked out of his frozen ceil. Breaking free and falling on all fours as ice flew everywhere. Gasping for air, his breath came out frosty before his body temperature regulated to his surroundings.
  43.
  44. Still, he was quite. But now, he was angry. He saw her jump in fright and he took that chance to run her down. Coming close, he cleaved the right side of her hair off by a couple of inches (6 if you want to be specific). His blade did however taste her flesh as he nicked her cheek with an slash arcing from the ground up. He'd then turn on his heels and send a kick towards her chest. He watched as blood flew from her mouth and her body flying back towards the wall. Leaving a crater in side of the arena.
  45.
  46. "......" he still remained silent. Taking a deep breath orally, Deo advanced upon her in a slow and menacing manner. Ignorant of Itotia's cries for them to stop. Nothing was going to get in his way nothing. He was blindsided and tunnel visioned on Naetoma. Something took control of him as he was fighting her and still had a grasp upon him.
  47.
  48. It took a while, but he was finally reached Naetoma. Staring down at the defeated priestess.
  49.
  50. She looked as if she was barely conscious, no one would blame her, during the entire battle he threw all his weight behind his punches and kicks, and cut away at her clothing as he advanced upon her. She basically looked as if she was truly beaten and couldn't even muster up enough mana to summon a vine.
  51.
  52. Deo paused as he stared down into Naetoma's eyes. The arena was full of blood, from the both of them and the vines he slain. Ice spikes were scattered about as Itotia and Lex stood to the side. Deo was in a pretty bad shape himself as he took the blunt force of Naetoma's attacks. Not shying away for even a second as he purposely took hits to get in one of his own.
  53.
  54. Taking one more step towards Naetoma. He was now ontop of her, standing with his neck bent to glare down into her eyes. So that she could see the ocean that he had within him. So she could see his wrath. Calm ontop but violent and fatal once submerged.
  55.
  56. Naetoma sat against the crater in the wall. Legs sprawled outwards and underneath his legs.
  57.
  58. Raising his blade. He pointed it at Naetoma's face. A second later, he drove the blade straight at Naetoma. But at the last second, it diverted it's path and shot into the concrete right beside her face. His blade however did slice her sin and cut deep into the side of her cheek. Leaning down he knelt down and pushed his face into her face.
  59.
  60. His voice was low and emotionless as his hair covered his eyes. Still he continued to stare at her as his orange hue's had never left his target.
  61.
  62. "I've talked to Hue. Now you...." he finally spoke in a ominous voice, one that wouldn't be recognized as his own. "After the death of Ak'ash, Taldaris, Mallory, Rahxal, and your passed husband. You send Allan out as a spy into the Valmasian lands?" he spoke and lowered his tone that only she could hear.
  63.
  64. "If he dies there. I'm coming for Hue and you. You two will be the ones responsible for his death." he threatened.
  65.
  66. He'd wait there for a couple of seconds to let it sink it before slowly rising to a stand. There he'd pull his sword out of the wall and brought his blade across the same wound he had given her earlier by driving it into the wall. Swiftly he sheaths his blade and looks to whoever else was in the arena before walking out to the exit.
  67.
  68. But just as he reaches the stairs, his knees buckle and he falls onto all fours. Cursing himself, he pushing himself up once more. Struggling as he too was also wounded greatly in the battle.
  69.
  70. Slowly, he limps his way out. Leaving through the doors.
  71. (Deo)
  72. Never before had Naetoma witnessed Deo unleash such a powerful display. Something changed in him when he fought her, she had noticed it their first spar- the distant look he held in his eyes like he was looking through and not at her. Though this time it was different, more intense as it bore into her with a singular focus.
  73.
  74. Deo was dangerously fixated like a feral animal looking for it’s last meal. But damn with the look he had lurking in the pool of his golden eyes, he was going to get it. There was no wall Naetoma could hide behind, no vine or root strong enough to survive this flames or force. Each barrier she erected soon crumbled leaving her scrambling.
  75.
  76. Naetoma could hardly keep her feet beneath her as Deo pursued her relentlessly. For the first time in a long time, Nae was in trouble. She was struggling- barely treading water at this point as the flood of Deo’s rage threatened to drown her. Her mind was reeling with what she had done to incur such an onslaught, but Deo wouldn’t spare her the time to muddle through such thoughts.
  77.
  78. Swish
  79.
  80. She could feel his blade brush past her face, grazing her cheek and lobing off a good chuck of her hair. Oh you bitch she thought whipping her head around to glower at him just in time to see she needed to..DUCK! His blade went whistling over her head and she realized in that moment, that he wasn’t holding back, not in the least. Though how could she expect someone like him to ever do such a thing? Deo lived for the fight, and she could have known this was coming with the way their last spar had ended.
  81.
  82. He had the same hungry gaze he did then, but now that he had a taste of her blood- he would surely want more. The fight went on for ages and each time Naetoma felt she had secured a victory, Deo’s tenacity showed through. It blazed with the intensity of an inferno and there was no amount of ice, nature or illusion that was going to save her from it.
  83.
  84. Naetoma was worn- she was beaten and bloody, and her lethargic movements were barely enough for her to dodge the rest of his attacks. As the minutes waned on she faltered taking blow for blow that she exchanged with Deo- only she didn’t have nearly the bulk he did to risk such fatal wounds. Each time his blade arched it connected with a clean cut, carving deep gashes through her flesh. At this point it was all Naetoma could do just to heal her wounds to keep her from losing anymore vital fluid.
  85.
  86. The ground was thick with rubble and blood that almost cemented together to form a post unsettling paste that sloshed around their feet.
  87.
  88. Though….Finally that battle came to an end. Naetoma felt Deo’s foot collide with her torso, sending her breath sputtering from her lips. Breathlessly she was catapulted through the air until the unyielding surface of the arena wall caught her. With her back crushing against it, blood spit from her mouth and dripped down the back of her skull.
  89.
  90. Feebly- she attempted to lift her head to no avail, it was all she could do to even flutter her eyelids open to watch his looming approach. All she could see was shadows or different shades of gray, all color had been sucked from her sight. Her head lifted and dipped in a nauseating circular motion, as if she had no control over the the muscles.
  91.
  92. The screech of the metal grinding against stone was enough to jolt her eyes open long enough to register that Deo was literally in front of her face. Her senses were overwhelmed. The coppery smell of blood clung to her nostrils and only intensified as she felt blood coagulated into a gelatinous lump slide down the back of her throat. It was a sickening feeling that shook her with a groan. She closed her eyes against the shadows, unsure of what vision was real- even with her eyes open all she saw was shadows...but she could hear the maliciousness in Deo’s voice with striking clarity.
  93.
  94. Naetoma’s head shot back and met with a thump against the brickwork as she used it to hold her head upright. Or...at least she attempted to, a snarled smirk tugged the corner of her lips as her head fell forward with her whispered words.
  95.
  96. “B-blame who you will” she said with a faint stuttering breath. “I...I bl-blame my..self already.” she was drunk on the pain. It was a perplexing mix of being so out of her gord with adrenaline, yet feeling the lurking numbness of annihilation.
  97.
  98. “A-Allan vo..” her voice was so soft but it held the bite of a poisonous flower. “Volunteer-er..ed on his own accor-d” she spat with the emphasis of blood spraying from her lips. “Bu...Bu….” with that she was out cold, and the words she uttered died on her tongue.
  99.
  100. (Naetoma)
