Lucas's World Concept #2

In the beginning, there was the Creator, a man who had traveled across the universe to see and experience all that there was, he found war, famine, suffering, hope, life, chaos, order and when he had finished his journey he sought to create, to build. He found a world that had long since died, a veritable wasteland of lifelessness and destruction made by the ones who once inhabited it. Using his knowledge he gave the world life, he cultivated it, nurtured it, gave it the strength it needed to grow. When the world teemed with Life he then sought to fill it with creatures, creations which would live in this world of his.

So the first of his children were born, a mirthful being with nobility that represented what the creator thought was the most important aspect of all, change and he gifted his child the ability to create more of it's own and so following their father the first of the fae were created, beings based around perception, change, and with personalities as varied as any other. The creator looked upon the first race that now inhabited this world and he was happy but he knew his work was not yet done for Change was not all that was needed to create a new world.

So he continued his work, he brought battle, honor, light, justice, chaos, order, and all things that made up life across the universe and when he was done 8 beings laid before him. His first and favored son, the Lord and First of the Fae, force of change and creativity and the progenitor of all fae and fairies in this world, The Elven Queen, Ruler of the Forests and Rivers and her people, The Proud Lord of Beasts and his Beastmen who inhabited the mountains, The First of the Dwarves and his kind who could work metal like no other, The Goblin Emperor and his goblins who were gadgeteers and led technology into the future, The Great Lord of the Depths and his merpeople, the Adaptive Orcs who spread his knowledge and helped terraform the Planet, and Finally The Lord of Justice and Light, The first human who brought knowledge of settlement and building, of civilization itself as well as the law and order that came with it as well as the first humans.

Together for many ages, these races lived in relative harmony, ruled by the immortal beings who created them and in turn their creator, yet they were not worshipped as gods but rather...as equals, as nobility that lived and fought alongside their creations. The creator knew that this balance had to be kept and that darkness must never be allowed to take hold so he brought forth his final creation. The Kamen Riders, beings chosen from all the races who would fight against the darkness and to keep balance in the world. Time passed, cycles began and ended, and all was well for countless eons.

Then....a visitor, a similar traveler from beyond the stars came to the planet and met the first human, in secret this traveler spoke poisoned lies and promises to the lord and in time the lord became corrupt and jaded and began to believe that humans were superior and began to study dark magics from the visitor. Thus began the first age of war and the beginning of the Church of Light, the first human proclaimed himself a god and the rightful ruler of the world they shared. Despite the combined might of all the races with the Creator by their side the first human's dark magic had become too powerful under the tutelage of the Dark Visitor and many races nearly became extinct underneath the subjugation of the first human and his people.

An all or nothing play was had as The Creator and his other Children banded together to fight his wayward son 7 to 1, but they did not expect the power of the Dark Visitor in their battle. With their combined might the Creator was cast into the heavens, blasted far from the world they called home and one by one each of his other children were sealed away and their own children and people went into hiding in the furthest depths of the world. The Lord of Humanity took control of the Kamen Riders and founded the Church of Light and thousands of eons later, the world that was became all but forgotten.

Every ten thousand years the seals upon the lords of the planet begin to weaken and the now warped Kamen Riders are sent to repower them and so it has been for the countless eons since this Golden Age. However, every now and again these lords manage to send out pieces of their essence and infuse them into women to create children which hold part of their power and so the seeds of rebellion are cast upon the world as these children grow to become powerful leaders and warriors who have led to parts of the world becoming free from the church and the corrupt leader of humanity's influence and in turn, slowly rebuild the bridges between humanity and the other races once more.

The world is a much worse place where history has been rewritten and darkness has taken hold but many have not lost hope for a better tomorrow, a better future and a world where all races can once again exist in harmony. The creator may be among the stars but his influence and guidance shall one day lead this world into another Golden Age and the tyrant lord of humanity shall be overthrown and the Dark Visitor cast back into the stars where his influence can no longer corrupt the world we love. So ends this tale and another begins.
