  1. Fer is a member of a recently deceased noble class. As populist revolts spread far and wide in his homeland, Fer assisted his liege in the reactionary counter-revolution until its fitting end.
  2. Trained from birth to be a courtier - a duelist and sophisticated noble, Fer has great practical knowledge in the art of subterfuge and formal swordplay. His titles may mean nothing now, but his skill with a harp and his blade has yet to fail an impression.
  3.
  4. After escaping death at the hands of the masses, Fer took to the streets to make a living, stealing and lying his way to the top of the mangy dog heap. A 'well adjusted member of society' at his best, he yearns for a return to aristocratic life, but yearns the pump of adrenaline through his veins as he picks the lock-box, and the wanderlust of seeing a new horizon.
  5.
  6. Though he resents the harshness the road provides, the road provides more than his depleted and defaced name ever will.

  9. Fer tends to act in his own interest more than his group's, but understands that the key to any successful operation is teamwork. Having had his nobility taken from him at a relatively young age (15), he is accustomed to life on the road.
  10.

  12. Basically he's ex-nobility, trained in court arts (an instrument, dance, swordplay) and experienced in the ways of a thief and a crook. High life has its benefits in the diplomacy and title-waving of the court, and the subterfuge necessary to remove barriers to personal advancements.
