  1. Liliana came back to us, and apparently had sex with one of the kobolds. I feel like this shouldn’t shock me, as someone of a mixed race, but it does. A kobold? Really? I mean, I wonder what it was like, but I don’t wonder THAT much.
  2. Anyway, while she was out doing this, I guess she also encountered a dire wolf that she made some kind of pact with, and also got branded by a Wendigo. This is the type of thing that mama always warned me about. ‘Go out and spread your legs for any man and you’ll end up with a brand of shame!’ Oh Mama…
  3. But in reality, this is a terrible thing, and we decided it should probably be fixed right away. From what we knew about them, she might have a chance of turning into one if we don’t deal with it. So we headed out to track the Wendigo, and managed to do so without too much of an issue, tracking it to a cave in the mountains.
  4. We also came across the World Fire. What. A. Sight. It was like a living thing, raging and burning as far as we could see, and I could feel it. It burned inside me, called to me in a way. I don’t think the others felt the same, at least they didn’t say so. It must be something inside me, my blood heritage, calling to the flames. I want to see more of it, and ask Analyst 7 about it next time we speak.
  5. Where was I? Oh right, the Wendigo. We tracked it to a cave and inside found lesser beasts than the one that Liliana described, being led by the creature that branded her, and quickly dispatching them. I shouldn’t say quickly, though with the adrenaline pumping through me sometimes I lose track of time and lose myself in the battle.
  6. I did so this time, and it felt, exhilarating. This Hero of Rage thing that I am now, I can pump something of myself into my spells, make them more powerful than they should be. I don’t know if the others noticed or not, but when the battle was over I was bleeding from my nose, eyes and ears. I’ll have to be careful not to push too far. I’m not sure if there is a limit on the powers or if I could just fall right over the edge and throw my life away in a fireball. Worrying, but exciting at the same time.
  7. I want to note, inside the cave seemed to be a liquid fire, maybe part of the World Fire even. The Wendigos seemed to be channeling it through a rune we haven’t studied yet, trying to become more powerful. It probably would have worked if we didn’t stomp all over them. I wonder if I can use the rune, or if it would hurt me. The Fire called to me. Maybe my blood could handle it? I feel like the others will stop me, or try to, for my own safety.
