  1. Akalloch's soul is divided between each of his Grey Gardeners. To slay him, each will need to be killed.
  2.
  3. While in the city, a wretched, pathetic looking undead will approach joe from an alleyway, calling out to him. "The voices...they said you would come! The lizard in black... sealer of Karamentonen...slayer of Crenistor! The voices have an important message for you...but...not here! not safe! He is listening! always listening... must go deeper! secret place...away from his ears!"
  4.
  5. This creature will lead the party to a secluded area deep within the tomb. Here, a resonant cacophony of voices will welcome them, as a horde of beetles crawls from the cracks in the storm, forming a humanoid shape.
  6.
  7. Karss introduces himself as a member of the blessed children, the same organization Grist is a part of. The woman Joe killed at akalloch's request some time ago was also an ally of theirs. He'll recount some of the party's actions- striking down ink-eyes and crenistor and remind them that these were both targets of theirs last they met back in Trovain, many months ago. He'll try to convince the party that their goals are aligned once again since joe wants to take down akalloch. He'll also explain the difficulties involved in doing so- that his soul has been divided amongst the grey gardeners, unless they are all dead he will simply reform. Additionally, striking down any one of them would alert him to what is happening and given his control of Joe's soul it would be simple to stop him. He would suggest using Joe's position as a gardener to draw the others together so they might be defeated at once before Akalloch can react. This would be quite challenging given their strength, but is the most sure way of success. Additionally, he'd explain what will happen when akalloch is destroyed- the undead he has personally created would be undone.
  8.
  9. on a larger scale, he'd explain the blessed children's goals: to preserve the cycle of life and death through the destruction of immortal undead, and to free any bound or lost souls into the care of their goddess, Patra. They also seek to prevent the release of Bahamut, as the cataclysm brought about by his manifestation would likely trap many souls in a stasis of sorts.
