- Character name: Akima King
- Age: 18
- Pokemon: Pikachu ~ This Pokemon was originally Johnny's, before letting Akima have it for her own. Pikachu did help him out during the war with its optimism and electrical attacks. Pikachu still kept those personality traits when being around Akima, especially whenever she's working in the ammunition factory, cheering Akima on. When being around other Pokemon and other people, Pikachu could be very protective since it was fighting with Johnny in the war, could but also be friendly once it gets to know others well, especially other people.
- Occupation: Akima does work at an ammunition factory and she started when she was around eighteen years old. She does earn less pay than other workers since she's a woman, but at least her mechanical skills come in handy when doing the job. She does her mechanical skills that she used to when helping Johnny with his car and when using these skills currently in the factory, she did get the job done really quickly although using machinery was different than her usual style when earning a job's worth pay, it was at lest better than having no job at all. Having this job also gave her the advantage to learn the ropes on the new technology that was coming out during the time. This job also at least have her some time to live under a household, such as food. She does work at lest for forty hours, and even sometimes works overtime, depending on the workday and how much needs to be done throughout the day.
- History: Akima was born during the German attacks when this event was occurring in Britain, her homeland. So, her life was not a happy child life indeed since her household did get bombarded by of course, bombs and aerial attacks. Although her parents had to move to another home in the country, they had to keep their daughter safe since she cannot go on to fight with them, and both parents were working; as the mother was a nurse and her father was a soldier during the war and they had to travel a lot so, there was no time to raise their daughter. As a result, Akima had to be put in an orphanage and she did not get along with the other girls since she had a tomboy personality and she did not like to wear dresses, unlike the others. She was at the horrible place for a couple of years and although the caretaker was nice, she wanted to be with a real family instead of being with the woman who was taking care of the children. At around five years old, Akima was finally adopted by an army man who did fight in the war. Akima, at first felt very suspicious about a man who was not her actual father picking her up at an orphanage to take care of a girl, but after hearing that he was a fighter, Akima did start to feel comfortable around him since her father was a fighter himself, although he did not spend some time with her at all, and the man also revealed that he was an ally, so, she started to trust him slowly. As soon as they arrived home, Akima noticed that there was a yellow looking rat being around the house, and she felt clueless, as she never saw a creature like that in her life. The army man revealed that the creature was a Pokemon named Pikachu. He did explain that the Pokemon did help him throughout the war with its optimism and electrical attacks. After hearing the explanation, Akima thought that the Pikachu sounded really cool and right away, wanted to be friends with the Pokemon. Then, she and Pikachu became fast friends by playing with one another and their games were tag and hide and seek. She also thought that the Pikachu was pretty useful when practicing some combat moving skills incase someone would get into a fight with her. Although she has been living with the army man for at lest a couple of years, and even developed a father-daughter relationship, she never caught his name. He did reveal that his name was "John" but thought that it would be fun for Akima to call him, "Johnny." She and Johnny also worked together on developing skills in the household and when she turned around fifteen, he taught her on how to use tools to fix his car. She didn't work with mainly wrenches and hammers to fix any type of damage since on the side, Johnny was a mechanic. At around eighteen years old, Johnny had to leave to fight since the war was still going on and of course, the army men needed his help when he got a telegram. So, before Johnny left, he gave Akima some papers on where she could get a job and at least raise herself alone with Pikachu. So, when going through the papers, she did find an opening position for ammunition designing and it required people who needed skills in machinery. So, Akima decided to take the job and try it, hoping that her skills would pay off, even though she mainly worked with wrenches and other tools that are similar to those when she worked with Johnny's car. When going to the building, Akima was quite nervous since she never had a job in her life, and of course, she wanted it to be successful. She went inside the building and was asked by a woman who ironically had a Pikachu herself, asking if she was applying did a job and even asked if she was good with machinery, and as Akima was explaining that she did work on a car, the woman accepted her right away. As Akima got to work on her first ammunition bullet, she thought that it was a little but challenging since she was mainly used to using old-fashioned tools, but as soon as she read the directions, she started to get the hang of knowing on what to do with the job task. She thought that the job for the next couple of weeks was not so bad after all, even though she got less pay. When she got home from work, she noticed that a woman on whom she assumed was a neighbor, during the time she lived with Johnny, was crying. As Akima approached the woman with a concerned look, she gave her the letter and it revealed that Johnny died in Germany by getting shot by a spy. Akima was starting to feel a bit saddened by your since he raised her like on how a true father would be. Pikachu, noticing that it's owner's sadness, tries to keep her optimism up by trying to say that although Johnny's gone, they both had to continue to work at the job to raise money for themselves to at lest stay independent. Akima, getting the message, right away went back to the factory and worked overnight to earn some extra money. As she was working, she did hope that she'll become a full time employee, and she started to quickly get used to the machinery and materials she had to use to make the ammunition bullets. As she woke up the next morning, she found the woman with her Pikachu seeing that she walked overnight. She left a note quickly mentioning that she became a full-time employee due to all the hard work she done for the past couple of weeks. By then, Akima continued to work at the factory, still believing that the other British army men would take care of business when fighting in the constant war. She also had hope that her parents would come back to the country safely so, she could catch up with them, if they are still alive.
