Elea's descs

She is an intelligent Human, about average height for her race, with a broad-hipped, heavy build.
She seems a no-nonsense individual, narrow brown eyes with a calculating glint set into a round face
over a small, uptilted nose and an expressive mouth. Her hair is dark brown and very long- even
braided back tightly it reaches past the small of her back and thus has been pinned up out of the
way into a couple of loops at the back of her head. Clean white bandages cross both her hands at the
knuckles, wrapping down to her wrists in a neat dressing. She is wearing:
a crimson scale earring
a pair of heavy, crystal-lensed goggles
a pair of ash-grey trousers
a formal longcoat of the Cabal
an embroidered ash-grey tunic
a small leather belt pouch
a silver wedding ring, inlaid with dark opal, symbolizing eternity
a tenebrous sash of the Conduit
a brown leather traveler's pack
sturdy black boots
a white, full-sleeved undershirt


Here's the coat:
With a high collar and a sweeping hemline, this longcoat is dark and formal, lending the wearer a
distinguished and official air. Thick, black fabric has been used to provide a measure of warmth and
protection to the wearer, with long sleeves and heavy cuffs. These cuffs, as well as the edges of
the broad lapels and each of the hems, have been decorated with fine, silvery piping, making a sharp
contrast to the darkened backdrop. The coat has been sewn in double-breasted fashion, with a set of
silver buttons marching up each side of the chest. Inside, the coat is lined with storm-grey silk
that has been woven with a pattern of numerological symbols. A silver cord has been attached to one
shoulder, and loops across to a polished badge on the chest; a matching cord decorates the back of
the coat, knotted at the shoulder blades and hanging down into a short tassel.

And here's the goggles:
A creation of brass and leather, these goggles are heavy and well-crafted, extremely durable despite
the few scratches and dents here and there. The strap is made from chestnut-coloured leather, padded
and adjustable via a brass buckle at the back. The rims of the eyepieces are likewise padded for
comfort, as is the bridge of the nose; the brass of each eyepiece is polished, though hints of
tarnish and grime darken the seams and circle the rivets. Though otherwise nondescript, these
goggles are fitted with unique crystal lenses; remarkably thick, they are surprisingly clear,
protecting the eyes without distorting vision. Though they seem un-tinted, at certain angles the
lenses shimmer with faint, spectral colour and light.



The goggles are usually on top of her head- you've seen my drawings of Elea and all. I did include the design of the coat there, but I'm actually interested in seeing you work your costume design magic, if it'll work on Elea at all. As long as her outfit is kind of militaristic in flavour I reckon it'll look neato. Have some fun with it, yeah?
