Odessa's Sweet Potato Pie

Odessa's Sweet Potato Pie

1 and 1/2 C Mashed Sweet Potatoes
1/2 C soft butter (can be melted)
4 Eggs beaten
1 C Sugar
1 and 1/2 tsp Nutmeg
1 and 1/2 tsp Vanilla
A Generous Dash of Cinnamon
1/2 C milk
1/4 tsp of lemon rind

Mix all together, pour into a pie shell and  bake at 180C for 1 and 1/2 hours. Judge the baking time like you would a pumpkin pie

You can top with chopped  toasted pecans
