Life Update 7/17/17

	Before I get into anything else, let me talk about some positives :)

	I'll be going to ESA next week, and I'm speedrunning 3 games in it! If you don't know what ESA is, it's basically the European version of the GDQ marathons (I hate this explanation but it's the best way to explain it to people unfortunately). It's taking place in Växjö, Sweden from July 22-29. I'll be gone from the 19th to the 30th, and I'm pretty excited for this trip since it'll be the first time I've been in Europe basically. I'll be running Kirby Nightmare in Dream Land Any% as a race with Famarok, 007 Agent Under Fire, and Star Fox Assault. A lot on my plate, but it's going to be pretty awesome I'd say! I love meeting new people and idk when or if I'll be in Europe ever again so I don't want anyone to miss this opportunity if they wanted to meet me.

	Twitch partner update: Got the email saying they need more information from me to process my app, and it's been over 3 weeks since I got and responded to that email, so I'm just waiting on a response from Twitch at this point. From what other partners have told me, that basically means I got it, but I don't know for sure until I get the confirmation. I've been very anxious and nervously excited for weeks now please help me :|

	Now on to the more tongue in cheek stuff :/

	My brother moved out of the house a week ago. My parents kicked him out because he didn't agree to their living agreement, the same one they gave me that was unfair in a lot of aspects. They gave him 15 days to leave, but he did nothing with it until the day of because I don't think he took it seriously and thought it would be an empty threat. But my parents stuck to their guns and went through with it. Keep in mind this was the day after I came back from SGDQ and they told me they were going to do this on the drive back from the airport, so it was a lot to take in at once. I helped him move his stuff out to his truck when it was time for him to go, but when he left he didn't even tell us he was going or where he was going. Turns out he stayed at a hotel for the next 2 days before moving in with our grandpa. So now he's living there and soon will be working at the family business. I wish him the best and I hope that goes well for him. He's the same brother who holed himself in his room for the last few years yelling at Dota 2 and TF2 all the time, almost never even talking with the rest of the family and especially my parents, and who was a big source of trauma and bullying for me growing up too, so I'm really and sincerely hoping that moving out is the turning point he needs to get his life back on track even a little bit.

	Helping him move out came at a bit of a price for me. My old truck, which was the same model but different year and got totaled early last year, came with a camper shell for the back when we bought it, so me and my brother tried moving that onto his truck so his stuff wasn't exposed. Since it was really really heavy and it was only me and my brother moving this big shell from behind the house onto his truck in the front, I ended up injuring my back while lifting and essentially dragging it to his truck. In the end the holes for putting in the screws to keep it together weren't there, so he just pushed it off his truck and just left the camper shell in the driveway and drove away, so I'm really unhappy about that. I've been laying down a lot more to relieve it, but I'll need to see a chiropractor at some point probably to fix my back. Or maybe I just need a good massage. Idk how to properly treat this basically.

	As for how my own moving out is going, I actually have a bit of a plan in place now to move out. I'll most likely be moving to West LA some time after ESA. Not exactly sure when or where yet since we need to look into getting an apartment still, but nothing can be put into motion until after I get back unfortunately. So basically I had the plan to try to move out in August before my parents had the plan to get me and my brother to move out, and even with that plan now I'm still going to be moving out, but it's happening sooner rather than later. So I'm a little bit glad about that in a way since that was their intention, but it put me in such a state of panic and stress for a while that was really uncomfortable to deal with. Thankfully it all worked out in the end but god it was unpleasant and could have been handled better on both ends. Either way I'm both scared and excited now to be more independent. It's something I've needed and wanted to do for a while and I'm glad something is finally happening in relation to it, but now I have a lot more on my plate I need to maintain, and many new uncertainties I have to face, but I guess that's just a part of maturing and growing up that I need to face eventually. I'm hoping to come out stronger and better than ever once things settle back down a little, and I'll be ready to face whatever challenges life gives me head on! :)
