Ragnorra Session 72

Start: 7 pm, Monday, Eleasis 16, 1396

The party purchased some last minute goods in Sigil, then departed to their demiplane.

Through conversation, they realize most, or possibly all of the slaves Slugtoe has for sale in Sigil were acquired on the fronts of the Blood War.

Sorrow, Felyxtha, Gregor, and Shareena were left on the demiplane. Vix slew Noontide while he was dominated, and animated him as a devourer.

He was aghast, protesting that his blade would no longer recognize him in this form. Vix commanded him to do menial tasks around the demiplane and to listen to everyone under Vix's control's orders. Furthermore, she commanded him to 'not make noise'.

Gregor was prompted by Ronja to work on structural buildings such as farms, working on Vix's and Ronja's layers, and to build a trolley system for the quarry. He seemed eager to get to work, even though he agreed to have his memory wipes at the end of it all.

The party returned to Sigil, and made their way through the streets of the city to Guillermo's. Wind-up Jimmy met them there, with their many orders. He seemed almost stressed, if a Modron could be stressed. He dispensed the receipts for all the items requested. Vix, of course, placed another order with Wind-up Jimmy. He complied and casted haste on himself and sped away.

The party spoke with Guillermo and discussed details for an airship. Guillermo's modrons began work immediately. He told the party the process would take no less than a week, at the max limit a fleet of modrons could work.

Reasonably satisfied, the party returns to the demiplane. There, they read through stat tomes they purchased.

After they are finished with this, they return to Sigil, and venture back to the slave market.

There, they meet several interesting characters, such as a Redcap named Sleepless. It seemed to be a small miracle such a creature was captured, and it made unsettling remarks to the party. Evidently, the creature was carnivorous, and nearly impossible to spot if allowed to hide.

Among the captives was a Rakshasa merchant named Ashar-ka. Cassius and Vix spoke with him, and ultimately offered to pay him a down payment as an investment, expecting a return. Ronja asked him to acquire blueprints to Rhyxali's lair, and if possible, acquire points of ingress to her lair. Additionally, he was directed to find the weaknesses, strengths, motivations of her heralds, and to discreetly investigate this all, if possible. He did not seem extremely confident in his ability to do all of these things simultaneously, but he promised to try. This Rakshasa seemed like his word meant a lot to him, if he was unscrupulous and possibly duplicitous in other areas. He was captured making a bad deal in Hades, on the front lines of the Blood War. After the deal was struck, Ashar-Ka was purchased from the group fund.

Ivy purchases several of the fey on offer. In their number are included Ceri Lourdes, a captured tiefling double agent for Graz'zt, tasked with spying on Glasya, presenting herself as a defector of Graz'zt's intelligence. In truth, it is likely she was playing these two powerful creatures against each other, and is very, very lucky to be alive.

She also purchases an Erinyes named Stiletto, a Shaedling named Vayaxex, an unseelie nymph named Veldotta, and a Nereid named Delilah.

These fey were not thoroughly questioned.

Ronja purchased an asura named Chaddhartha Devi. She was questioned on how she came into this situation, and like the rest, she was captured on a front of the blood war. It was not clear what purpose the party intended for her.
