  1. First argument (from C.S.Lewis and others): If Evolution and random chance are the entire explanation for human existence, then they are the entire explanation for everything human, including the human intellect. Evolution encourages whatever tends to make species survive. Thus, humans would (assuming that Evolution is the entire explanation for their existence) believe whatever tended to make them survive. Thus, if believing that the moon was made of blue cheese tended to make humans survive, Evolution would presumably make humans believe the moon was made of blue cheese. Hence, if Evolution is the entire explanation for human existence, human intellect is untrustworthy. Which means, why should I pay any attention to what science says? So why should I listen to the Theory of Evolution? According to its own proponents, it is only what tends to make humans survive, not necessarily anything at all true...
