I try not to cry in front of you.
My feelings were never your concern.
You think of me as  only a fuck.
Love was an alien concept to you.

My heart aches when I see you drunk.
You say you never drink but I can tell you do.
Alcohol is not what you’re drunk on, It’s power you thirst
Power is what corrupted you into this heartless thug.

Knives, cuffs, whips and chains, these are your toys.

My only release from this is my mind where I curl up.

You see me as a doll, and dolls don’t cry.
When you see my tears, you see them as nothing.

I wish for things to return back to the way it used to be.
