  1. I've often thought about coming back to streaming regularly, if that would be something I want to do or not. But there are a couple factors in the way of me doing that:
  2.
  3. A. The way I prefer to casual game is not conducive to streaming. I tend to play games in little chunks at a time, even if I might play several of those chunks in a day if I really like it. For example, I bought Color Splash which is the first casual game I've played on my own in months and it really suits how I like to play, since I can do one area at a time in 30-45 minutes, set it down and come back later. That doesn't really make for a good stream.
  4.
  5. B. Color Splash has been an exception, I've been playing next to no video games on my own. The only gaming I've really been doing is going to smash tournaments once a week or so and then doing races with Midboss. I personally strongly dislike streaming while I'm in a call, since if I am to stream I like to talking directly to anyone who says something in chat and I feel like it's rude in a call. I know people do this all the time but it's just a personal preference. And since I don't really do any long gaming sessions not in this situation, that doesn't give me much to stream.
  6.
  7. C. My interest in doing anything at all seems to cap out at one week. I've had a lot of times where I feel like speedrunning again in the past couple of years, so I start to learn a game, possibly stream it once or twice, but then I just lose interest before I get anywhere. The only things I've been able to complete runs of are short easy shit that are too boring for anyone to want to watch and I'd rather do it off stream anyway. I hope this problem is fixable, but I'd rather focus it on other personal things besides video game, and if I can do that then maybe side things would fall back into place. But I kinda doubt it.

  9. So yeah, streams will remain basically dead forever I think. It was fun then, but I don't enjoy it like I used to. Would rather race game in a call with one to two people every once in a while, and I think that's the way I'd like it to stay.
