Alexithymiaa: -Steph was on her way in from her therapy appointment feeling a bit overwhelmed with the events of her day between talking to Cadence and talking to Rochelle. Which of course she'd unloaded on her therapist so there was an instant little bond there which would be nice. Mindlessly walking into the house, she wasn't paying much attention to the barking dogs at her feet, too caught up in her own thoughts as she headed into the kitchen to pour herself a glass of orange juice.-
Covet: Felix was on the couch, and heard Steph come in. He was in a pretty good mood, but knew that Steph had another therapy attempt today and was concerned as to how it went. He got up and followed her into the kitchen, telling the dogs to pipe down as he walked over to her and pressed a kiss to the top of her head as he wrapped his arms around her. "Welcome home."
Alexithymiaa: -She snapped out of her transe when he kissed her, tipping her head up to look at him with a very forced smile. "Hey. How was your day?" She asked, trying to get a feel for how the bomb was going to be received.-
Covet: Smiling he looked at her and gave a shrug, "It was alright. I took things easy today, so my shoulder and all that's feeling alright. I have a feeling your's could have gone better?" He asked her, rubbing her shoulders and neck a little.
Alexithymiaa: -She slowly glanced down at her shirt that had spoken volumes about her day, staring for a moment before looking back up at him. "You could say that. Just a lot of shit going on today." She let out a small sigh, leaning up to kiss him. "I'm glad you took it easy though. Following directions is pretty important."-
Covet: Felix gave her a look. "Now only if you practiced what you preach." He told her with a smirk, before kissing her back. "I was feeling sore, so thank laziness."
Alexithymiaa: "Excuse you, I went to my appointment today didn't I? AND I stayed for the entire session. And I didn't just sit on my phone the entire time. So what was that about practicing what I preach?" She asked sharply, cracking a smile. "Regardless, I'm glad you relaxed a bit today..."-
Covet: "Really? And are there any complaints about said session, you need to get off your chest?" He asked her, in a cheerful mood as she snapped at his teasing. "Is that what's got you all fluffed up like a grumpy bird in winter?"
Alexithymiaa: "Actually, no. Other than the fact that she told me I could call her by her first name which felt kind of unprofessional, she was decent. She does however want you to come with me to my next session based on today's session." She said with a purse of her lips, trying to find a good way to segway into something she didnt actually want to tell him.-
Covet: "Oh, cool." He said with a smile, "I'm glad this one started off better and you feel more comfortable with her." Felix added then smirked, "What did you tell her all about me and now she wants to see all of this with her own eyes?" He asked with a smirk, trying to be cheeky.
Alexithymiaa: "Uhhh..." She trailed off, amazed that he could somehow turn this in a cocky bragfest. "Not exactly. I was ranting about Cadence and Remy. And then I was ranting about a conversation I had with you rmom today..."- (Notice how shes only 'your mom' when its bad lmao)
Covet: "My mom? What conversation was making you rant about my mom? You love my mom. and she loves you." Felix said leaning back against the counter.
Alexithymiaa: -She bit the inside of her cheek, slowly pulling her phone out of her pocket to open the text chain. Scrolling to the top of the conversation today, she held it out to him, just staying silent because it was better if he read it for himself. At the very least this way he'd say how many times she'd defended him.-
Covet: Felix tooke her phone furrowing his brow as he started to read through the conversation. The blood rushing to his face was visible as his jaw set and he could feel his hands starting to tremble. He didn't say anything but handed her phone back over to her, before walking out of the kitchen towards the bedroom, to start flipping through his clothes until he found some warmer clothes to change into.
Alexithymiaa: -She watched him reading the texts, her pulse hammering in her ears because she was frankly nervous about how he was going to react. When he handed the phone back to her and walked off, she dropped it onto the counter, moving quickly after him. "Felix... we don't have to stay here if you dont want to. We can stay with Cadence for a few days until we're positive he's out of town. I'll come back and take care of the cats so you don't even have to chance running into him."-
Covet: All Felix did was go about kicking his sneakers off to put his boots on while changing out shirts, before pulling his beanie off his head and tossing it to his dresser. He was trying to keep his cool, but with how he was throwing his things about you could tell that wasn't really happening.
Alexithymiaa: "Felix look at me." She said, forcibly inserting herself in front of him and grabbing a hold of his hands so he would have to stop throwing things about. "Talk to me."-
Covet: He set his jaw and took a deep breath looking at her, giving her hands a squeeze. "I... don't have the words right now Steph." He said in a cool low tone.
Alexithymiaa: -She stared into his face, a deep frown settling over her own. "I'm sorry that you weren't given a choice. This is why I was so upset with her for doing this to you. Just tell me what you want to do. Whatever you want."-
Covet: "I know, I read." Felix said to her. "I don't want anything right now." He said pulling away from her so he could tie his boots. "I still have a choice, You told me ahead of time, so it's not like I'm not expecting him." He said in an annoyed tone. "I need some air."
Alexithymiaa: "Okay..." She spoke in a small voice, taking a seat on the edge of the bed. "Do you want me to come outside with you? Or maybe you could take Penny for a walk?" She suggested, hoping that would stop him from just disappearing all night.-
Covet: "No, I'll be fine. I'm going to go for a ride on the bike. Clear my head." He said to her in a short tone, then looked over at her. "I'll be back, but don't wait up for me. You need to sleep."
Alexithymiaa: "I don't think that's a very good idea. That's an accident waiting to happen." She said quickly, keeping her eyes on him intently. "And if you think I'm going to be able to fall asleep before you are back safe in this house, you are out of your mind."-
Covet: "I'll be safe. I won't speed. I'll have my helmet on. Plus my leather jacket." He told her, not intending to be heeded by her concerns. "Will you at least try?"
Alexithymiaa: "Felix I mean it... please be careful. Alert and aware of your surroundings. I know you're in your own head right now, but it only takes a second to zone out." She frowned again, her worry for him growing the more she thought about it. "Of course I'm not going to try. I'm going to sit at the front window with my nose to the glass like the two of them."-
Covet: "I promise. I'll be careful. I'm always in my own head, but that also means I'm always paying attention to my surroundings." He said to her as he grabbed his jacket from where it hung, and slipped it on. "Please don't do that, I don't want your face staying that way."
Alexithymiaa: -She dropped her hands into her lap as she watched him put his jacket on, letting out a small sigh. "I'm not leaving that window until I see you pull in."-
Covet: "Fine, But make yourself comfortable, It's going to be a few hours at least." He said to her walking over to her. "I'll be ready to talk when I get back hopefully." Leaning down he gave her a kiss, and a hug, then grabbed his keys for his bike before heading out the door.
Alexithymiaa: (He comes home to a front porch full of Amazon Prime boxes....)
Alexithymiaa: -She leaned up to give him a hug, squeezing him hard and returning the kiss. "I love you..." She said to his back as he headed out, gathering her computer to go sit at the kitchen table to wait for him all damn night like a worried mother. She was definitely upset with Rochelle now that his reaction was in black and white.-
Covet: [bahahahaha]
Covet: "I love you too." Felix said to her beofre he closed the door and got on his bike, taking off at a reasonable speed.
