What Happens When You Touch Orbs.

[**Your vision clouds at the edges as phantom pains race across your gem, extending into the triangular tattoo burned into your flesh around it. Another world comes to view over yours. A tall figure stands in a perfectly-octagonal chamber, wearing white clothing seared black from around the waist up. There is a diamond in their forehead.

ИММЕ-ДРАХИС frowns pensively, speaking calmly to the room.

“*Open primary hatch alpha-solidus, kindly.*”

The center of the room’s floor is dominated by a glowing glass octagon, of course, with a central metal core. Upon her words, the core slides upwards, emitting a hiss. A still conventionally tall figure dwarfed by the royal height of ИММЕ-ДРАХИС stands at her side, blue pearl in her chest.

“If you don’t mind my asking with all due respect, my Diamond, what is this to be?”

ИММЕ glanced at the pearl for a moment, nodding.

“*The Philosophorum Project was the first test of this continuity. This shall be the second, to be recollected and reused for the final product.*”

Internally, Blue Pearl was revolted. But, she would not say anything, for it was not her place. A small gate clicked before ИММЕ-ДРАХИС, and the Diamond placed a hand upon it. The plate shimmered, and promptly slid downwards as four pale white bubbles floated into the chamber from its depths. Shattered galaxite, bloodshot iolite, labradorite, aventurine, and a whole lapis lazuli. Gray Diamond raised a hand, and all four bubbles popped at once, dropping the gemstones to the ground.

Pearl and diamond alike observing silently, they all struck the ground, and were caught up by mechanical hands, sliding into the glass device of the floor.

A light fired forth from beneath the glass as it began to activate. A twisted, almost *tentacular* hand emerged from the device, before being pulled under once more. Howling echoed throughout the room. Blue Pearl remained close to ИММЕ-ДРАХИС. Four distinct voices, differing only slightly from each other in horror. Magma flooded beneath the glass floor with a hiss.

Minutes passed, and four glowing masses of superheated crystal emerged from below.

As the tentacular quartet of geoweapon prototypes began to emit sinister mutterings within the chamber, the pearl raised a question. A holographic screen appeared before ИММЕ, and she tapped a character denoting some sort of R4-БАСИЛИСЦУС.

“What… what are you doing with them, my Diamond?”

“*Oh, my dear Tascheter. They are truly going nowhere, in the largest scale of things.*”**]
