Pause Exploit is a glitch exclusive to the Xbox version of Taz: Wanted. On Xbox, you can Pause (but not Map) on the frame when, on other versions, the pause button would be disabled. This includes the end of boss fights, the start of cutscenes, level entrances and exits, and, usefully, screen wipe transitions.

Wipe Skip (WS) is a sub-glitch of Pause Exploit. It allows you to skip the screen wipe transitions from being caught, falling (including out-of-bounds falls), and drowning. This actually saves a bit of in-game time. Catcher Wipe Skips (CWS) and Falling Wipe Skips (FWS) save ~1.06s, and Drowning Wipe Skips (DWS) save ~1.54s. Overall, this glitch saves around ~35s spread across all levels.

Below is a list of falls, drowns, and catches present in Xbox ILs:



**ZT:** Drown to Lake Sign
**IB:** Catcher after Ski Lift Sign HVE (very tricky to pull off, requires incredible timing and probably also getting the Slowdown HVE)
**LL:** Drown near Lighthouse Sign, Drown to end zone

**SM:** Fall after Hologram Sign
**Ld:** Fall after Battery Clip, Fall after TV Store Sign clip(?)
**BoS:** Catcher + Fall on the 100% Gravity Route

**GC:** Entrance Teleport, Fall after Non-HVE Invisible Water Tank routes
**TH:** Fall after Rollercoaster Sign, Catcher for music room EtC
**CSM:** Drown after Drill Sign, Catcher after Platform Sign, Fall after Water Maze Sign

**TL:** Fall after Spinning Log, Fall after charged spin to Rolling Logs, Fall to Volcano, Fall after Wrecking Ball Sign (All Signs), Fall after Golden Sam, Drown in Sawmill
