Scoffing, the Dryad's arms moved to fold across his chest, his gaze drifting over towards Percy'. A brow quirking, his head canting ever so slightly to the side.

It's strange, he was Cal's son but he wasn't able to.. Well, do those things.

".. Percy', I'm sorry. But you might be adopted like I am."

[03:13] Percival breathed in and frowns when Ilui remarks about him being adopted. Thre were already people saying that since his skintone was far darker than his mother's, or his father's. There was no explanation there that his mother nor father had given him yet.

His inability to tap into his bloodline ability? Even worse.

"..I'm not.." He huffs. He frowns. His face scrunches up.

"I'm not adopted! I'm not adopted like you Ilui! I'm not adopted like you! My parents love me and they wouldn't LIE to me like that.. I'm just not.."

He huffs. He breathes in. He sighs. "I'm just not strong enough, I'm a late bloomer like my dad!" He frowns.

Allowing for his words to trail off, it's as clear as day that it's something that bothered the Dryad. They were all growing into their 'divine' powers, and so, it was becoming clearer everyday that he, and his siblings, were outliers in their family. It's something he came to terms with long ago, but to see them all come into their own powers so soon was frustrating for him, to say the least.

And then, he turns towards Percy once more.

".. Are you saying mine didn't love me?"

Spitting out his words, the Dryad's tone was laced with vitriol, his chin tilting up slightly. Only so that he could stare down his nose at Percy.

.. And yet, after a few moments, he catches himself. Seemingly settling down on the spot, his signature half-grin finding its way onto his features once more.

"Are you sure, Percy?"

He chuckles, mockingly almost.

"Just look at yourself, you look Gehennan. Your mom and dad are as pale as can be, hm? Seems strange, doesn't it?"

[03:35] Staring at Ilui, the boy frowns.. Angrily. How dare he?

"No. I'm sayin' that my parents love me and they would have told me if I was adopted," He fumes. The word itself sounded awful to him. He didn't want to be like that, at all. As bad as it seemed.

"I'm going to learn how to do it." He frowned. "But I'm not adopted. I'm not adopted, I'm not.."

He puts his hands to his ears, shutting his eyes.

"I'm not adopted! I'm not, I'm not, I'M NOT!!"
