Carreto

Carreto: A city nestled in the Wildwoods. They are pressed against a mountain range that they mine into to dig for the ore that they are famous for exporting and using to craft their Cybernetic Enhancements. The entrance to the city leads out into the Wildwoods, leading to many of the inhabitants who leave the town on any regular basis being rather good at fighting. The corpses of the slain monsters are usually eaten for food or dragged back into the city for sale to the Fleshcrafters. The city as a whole is split into 2 factions, The Caro and The Stahl. Each of these factions believe in enhancement beyond what they are born with. The Caro hold belief in Fleshcrafting and keeping their bodies natural by grafting monster parts and other parts onto themselves in exchange for their normal body parts. The Stahl on the other hand believe in Cybernetic Enhancement and replacing with metal and technology to substitute their weak flesh. The more enhancements you have and the less normal parts you have, the higher up in the social hierarchy you are. There is a rivalry between the two groups, almost escalating to war at times. They usually don't cause any permanent harm to eachother, but small gangs and extremists tend to go overboard at times.

Stahl Gangs: The Stahl gangs are generally more interested in trade of illegal arms and technology, although they never turn down a chance to fuck with the Caro's deals. The leader of the Stahl is a heavily modified man who's barely recognizable as human at this point named Zarem with a large robotic arm that he uses to strike down anyone who tries to usurp him, although he tries his best to keep the gang members from doing anything to kill or maim anyone. His right hand man is a Half Elf named Gria who is known to be good with guns, although rumor has it that he recently used his connections to get a package from Drimid. There are various lower ranking leaders and sub gangs but those are generally not important enough to be talked about by people not in their parts of the city. They like to think themselves more sophisticated than the Caro and take any chance they can to look regal and above them.

Caro Gangs: The Caro Gangs are very interested in drug and monster trade, paying high prices for any interesting monster parts people can bring in. They love fucking with the Stahl when they get a chance. Their leader is a Suli woman who is known to fly into fits of monstrous rage and attack anyone who she deems to have insulted her. Her Right Hand Man is a Human man named Dreg who is known to be light on his feet and extremely hard to catch on top of his natural charm. They think of the Caro as weak and unnatural, taking any chance to flex their might and look tough.
