  1. --- FUJIMORI ACADEMY (OTHER STUDENTS) ---
  2.
  3. -- AZUMI ITO --
  4.
  5. LEVEL: 130 (112)
  6. CLASS: Paladin
  7. PROFESSION: Highschooler
  8. GENDER: Female
  9. STAR SIGN: Virgo
  10. BLOOD TYPE: [FILL]
  11. AGE: 17
  12.
  13. A brown-haired, mild mannered, idealistic, and honestly all around positive girl from one of the other classes in the Academy, and a close friend of [PROTAG] despite being from different classes. However, underneath all her positive vibes and hopeful atmosphere is a girl that finds herself full of anxiety towards the future, guilt from feelings of worthlessness compared to her much more successful best friend, and fear of the world around her that clashes with how badly she wants to help other people, and harsh experiences dealing with home issues - a slowly growing ball of stress disguised as a mild mannered girl, all so that she can continue to show her friends a positive face, afraid of letting them down and letting her own uncertainty over the future ruin their own prospects and aspirations. A girl whose future is uncertain, and whose fortunes seem to rapidly sour, leaving her afraid and lost in a world that she just doesn't seem to be able to get used to, even after these three years...
  14.
  15. An extremely positive person, Azumi brings light to the life of most of the people she meets, particularly [PROTAG], who is her upperclassman and best friend, and they've been friends together ever since Azumi joined the school two years ago, to the point one might often mistake Azumi for being part of the same group as [PROTAG] and the other protagonists, though overall [PROTAG] spends more time with them even if Azumi is her best friend. Despite this, she doesn't really get jealous, as jealousy is not in her character (indeed, as you'll see in her next paragraph, you'll see she directs most of her relationship angst at herself), and is just happy to spend her time with [PROTAG] whenever she can. She has positive relationships with the other girls, though she considers [NORMAL] to be rather creepy and weird, even before her secret dark side is revealed in the Jane Family arc. In particular, she gets along with [MAGE] and [PRINCE] in particular. She has crushes on both [PROTAG] and [PRINCE], but her crush on [PROTAG] is far more pronounced in comparison, seeming like she's truly in love with her, whereas her attraction to Prince is more a general crush that many of the girls in the school share, after all. She has deep and great faith in all her friends, and will often tell them to believe themselves when they think they can't handle a particular circumstance, especially [PROTAG], but even somebody who creeps her out like [NORMAL] as well, and holds that she knows her friends can handle any threat that comes to menace them no matter what it is, and will often attempt to protect her friends at the cost of her life against strong enemies if necessary, even, or especially when they sharply outlevel her. Thankfully, she has enough good fortune that these savior moments never end up GENUINELY costing her life, but hey, A for effort and all. She's pretty bad at making jokes herself, and even worse at recognizing good humor, often responding with genuine laughter towards whatever intentionally bad joke [OCCULT] says around her. Unlike the main girls, she doesn't care much about Hiro, and even questions why they're so concerned with him even though they basically never knew him and he was in a coma for several years, though she's never outright rude or harsh about it - she just finds it odd. She at least takes comfort in the fact that none of them seem to actually be interested in him romantically. Despite how she'd never hurt a fly, she often puts on a gas mask and ill-fitting baseball cap to try and blackmail [MOB] into dating him, completely unaware of the fact they're already interested in each other, in hopes that she can keep him away from [PROTAG] - which is ironic, considering she's the girl least interested in him, never having gotten a route in the original game.
  16.
  17. As you can most likely tell by now, Azumi is an overall friendly and kind girl, and overall it'd be very hard to ever catch her acting cruel or rude to another person, as she seems especially concerned with making sure not to hurt the feelings of others. She chose to pursue the Paladin class three years ago entirely because she imagined herself one day going on to help protect people from criminals, monsters, and powermads, believing that ever since the System came into being that we humans are obligated to protect and care for each other, instead of using the power given to us for selfish ends. She holds a special distaste for those who think that they are free to do whatever they want with their power. However, underneath all her positivity and claims that she will one day help protect people all over the world, she is deeply insecure about her skills and level, especially how she's still in the low 100s this long after the event, with most of her peers, including [PROTAG] herself are in the uppers 100s instead, especially after getting LVL drained in Nossu's attack on the school. This is tied to her overall impostor syndrome, as she severely doubts herself in almost every aspect - be it schoolwork, leveling, and even her relationship with her friends, especially [PROTAG], who, being her upperclassman, she feels a need to impress and severe anxiety as to what she believes [PROTAG] thinks of her, often torturing herself with worries about what she'd think of her worst showings. Despite her anxiety over her level, she still deeply values it and sees it as a result of her hard work, even if she could do better, and feels horribly violated and traumatized after Nossu drains some of her levels during her attack on the school late into Act 1. This experience worsens her mood regarding levels even more than before, and she begins working herself to death to try and get it back to what it was as soon as possible - which she does end up doing to a degree, given she eventually levels to 112 after being drained to 73 - but leaves herself horribly drained of stamina as a result, and it's clear the experience isn't healthy for her in the least, instead being quite destructive, especially as nobody was really pressuring her to work so hard. Despite all these problems, she refuses to listen to her friends when they try and convince her that she doesn't have to work so hard and that they care about her regardless of her level or success compared to them, most likely due to her impostor syndrome making her see these consolations as further damning of her future. She feels a deep need to impress [PROTAG] due to how much she looks up to her, and often is flung into a deep depression whenever she believes she's let [PROTAG] down, and due to her anxious personality she often believes that [PROTAG] is upset by such occasions, rather than being genuinely forgiving. In general, she believes that other people aren't really forgiving in general, but just don't want to hurt her feelings whenever she screws up. Who knows what would happen if something truly bad happened to her...
  18.
  19. Azumi's class is a Paladin, a class that focuses on a mix of STR-based physical attacks and FTH-based magical abilities, though, unfortunately, Azumi has done very little to make the class her own, and relies on a mixture of various traditional Paladin abilities and techniques, ranging from holy, floating shields, heavenly, light-powered blade attacks, inducing fear in the undead and dealing intense damage to enemies which harbor evil power and sinister natures. Her weapon proficincies are mostly made up of various types of swords, which she uses in general, but also has the potential to use things like maces and axes - however, she neglects these out of a desire to keep things simple and basic. Her armor proficiency is medium and heavy, and she generally tends towards using medium type armor due to disliking the clunky feeling of moving around in heavy armor - as such she spends a lot of her stats on CON out of a worry the DEF of a medium armor will be too little for her, even when it'd be wiser to use stats more evenly utilized across her progression route. Her Limit is Grand Blaze, a common Limit for paladin route classes which summons a massive blaze of fire that doesn't hurt allies, but damages enemies, and does more damage the more evil or unholy they are.

  21. -- HIKARI NAKAMURA --
  22.
  23. LEVEL: 288
  24. CLASS: Luminary
  25. PROFESSION: Highschooler
  26. GENDER: Female
  27. STAR SIGN: Gemini
  28. BLOOD TYPE: [FILL]
  29. AGE: 18
  30.
  31. A truly loathsome and rude girl from the same class as [PROTAG] and her friends, one could undoubtably call her a bully to say the least. Exceedingly cocky and egotistical, she lords her level - the highest of her class - over the rest of the class in general, especially [PROTAG], and overall carries the mostphere of a girl whose been spoiled sick her entire life and as a result has developed an intense superiority complex towards other people - especially low class families like [PROTAG]'s. Wielding her dual blades and unleashing walls of blinding light, she's a pain to deal with and never misses any chance to show off and expose her superiority over her peers when it comes to the System. As a result, she is often a sort of "antagonist," especially for arcs which do not deal with especially dangerous or heavy enemies, such as training arcs and similar low-tier arcs, and despite her rudeness she can prove to be an invaluable ally in certain arcs all the same, even if it often takes our heroes a lot of effort to even tolerate her mere presence. At least she's just a schoolyard bully and not some criminal...
  32.
  33. Hikari's personality is simply unpleasant, being rude, domineering, and extremely full of herself - and the System and how rapidly she's risen through its ranks has done almost nothing to alter that, in fact it's made her even more egotistical and cruel to others, and she highlights a sense that because she's the best of her class she is, in effect, the ruler of it, being able to do whatever she wants without any thoughts or concerns over the other students within the classroom at all, instead seeing them as victims or monuments to her own vanity depending on whether they're in her social circle or not - with a special toxic attitude to [PROTAG] and her group, who she seems to want to antagonize whenever possible. It's unclear why she is so especially focused on them, but it's possibly a remnant of the fragment's original purpose of a dating sim, where she'd be one of the classic bully NPCs that cause trouble for the protagonist and their relationships with the others in one or multiple routes - though this doesn't seem quite right, as she's incredibly focused on [PROTAG] herself, despite her not having been a romance option and just a friend who introduced the protagonist to the other girls in the original game. Hikari is extremely arrogant and confident in her abilities, and to be fair she has somewhat of a right to be, as she's the most skilled and easily strongest combatant of all the school's students in general, to the point oftentimes when she appears in an arc she deals with at least one of the threats extremely easily, such as when she effortlessly crushes Nossu and sends her to the aquarium, stealing [MAGE]'s thunder in the Monster Clan arc. She believes that her high level and superior skills are proof of her superiority compared to her peers, who just don't work as hard, and while there is technically a truth to that statement, her wealthy family has afforded her far more chances to improve her level than the other students, even the similarly wealthy Prince, owing to their connections with the prime minister. Despite this, she refuses to accept any criticism that her skill gain is artificially higher than the other students, and becomes increasingly angry and full of denial when anyone presses the issue, suggesting a degree of insecurity regarding her talent and potential that clashes with the rest of her character in many ways, though these responses become more chill and smug over time, due to unknown reasons. Despite this cruelty, she doesn't act especially rude to her clique of followers, even helping them train if necessary, though she becomes truly savage if she perceives any of them as having betrayed her, usually by not being quite as zealous when it comes to bullying [PROTAG] as her, though again these responses become more chill (but still venomous) over time throughout the story, with no major character development or events that would seem to make such a change natural. Overall, these changes are quite odd, and even [PROTAG] herself finds them inexplicable.
  34.
  35. While she overall avoids bullying underclassmen, she is rather cruel and rude to Azumi whenever they cross paths, seemingly entirely because Azumi is [PROTAG]'s friend, often sending the girl crying whenever she makes fun of her poor level, especially in comparison to [PROTAG] herself. Hikari has almost no filter on what she can bully people for, and her attacks on Azumi only increase rather than decrease in intensity after Azumi is level drained by Nossu, and Hikari in particular likes to rub in the fact that it was her who ultimately beat the squid-like Monster, using the fact to make Azumi feel even more worthless - that somebody like Hikari was the one who saved her friends while Azumi was just completely useless. Hikari tries to surround herself with like minded girls, especially [B-RED] and [B-BLUE], forming a clique that aids her in her bullying, with [B-RED] acting as her hype woman and [B-BLUE] acting as her muscle as is necessary. She does not accept male students into her clique, most likely because she's a lesbian, and unlike many of the other girls who have similar tastes, is rather open about it - though this isn't portrayed as a negative thing, despite stereotypes - it's just a horrible girl happened to have a completely normal sexuality. Whenever somebody insults or snaps back at her in a way that actually hits home for her, she usually becomes an extremely angry mess, to the point of [B-BLUE] having to console her while [B-RED] takes up the job of insulting her enemies. However, as time goes by, she becomes less insulted by insults that should usually hit home, another strange change in character from the girl. She has a low opinion of the lower class, seeing them as lazy parasites who, if they just worked hard, would excel in life, but they're lazy, so they just try and take from the people who are truly worthy instead, like rodents - though this does little to change her opinion of [PRINCE], who she dislikes like the rest of [PROTAG]'s group. She is extremely proud of her prospects for the future, especially the fact she's already been enrolled early for the esteemed [UNIVERSITY] University, as opposed to the other students whose prospects as to whether they'll end up at the university are far more varied and some carry a grim outlook. She even boasts about how she's on good relations with the esteemed Professor Schwarz, a history professor who has worked at the university since even before the System, and has since become the most-well known researcher of the System in the world, as well as the third-highest leveled person to be documented internationally, behind the Tokyo Hero of Japan and President Mobaha of the USA. She has an extremely stylish style of fighting and meticulously builds her route in order to accomodate it, creating a form of Luminary combat that feels truly unique to her, and she claims the only way anybody should use the system is with style, saying that people who function on pure practicality are leeches who know they're too innately untalented to sacrifice some for style and flair.
  36.
  37. Hikari's class is a Luminary, a high-speed magic class that uses a mixture DEX and INT to manipulate Light magic in order to perform a variety of fast paced combat maneuvers and direct damaging spells, which she's customized to fit an extremely agile, speedy, and confrontative combat style, with such abilities as releasing vertical, extremely thin laser pillars as she moves that lowers a person's CON with every hit, turning herself into a mote of light to leap across the battlefield rapidly while avoiding attacks, releasing blasts of light, creating and releasing walls of light that slow people down when they're hit, creating floating orbs of light that function as mines which release blinding, disorienting glow when touched by others, cloning herself by creating glowing afterimages to follow her attacks, releasing swirling laser beams that do pure magic damage, and many more. Her weapons are hard light constructs created using the Magismith trait - which makes its user suffer significant stat losses when using physical weapons, but allows them to create weapon constructs with hard light - which she exploits to use two of the Luminary's best weapon proficiencies - dual short swords and a double blade, with her weapon usually taking the form of dual short swords which she holds with a reverse grip, but being able to combine them into a much longer double blade as necessary. Being level 200, she has gotten her second Limit, and thus has two Limits to choose from. Her first Limit, Blazing Pinions, transforms her into a winged, swirling mote of light that flies around rapidly, releasing beams which lower every stat by 2% for the enemies they hit - which may not sound like a lot at first, but when many of them are hitting her enemies all at once, they're certainly something to fear. Her second limit, Bladestorm, is a somewhat common limit that is made deadly by her usage of Magismith, meaning she does not need to spend EXPY on gaining extra weapon slots and can just use her MP to summon addition copies of her blades - which rain from the sky, and her pole arms, which rise from the ground around her like spikes. Her AGI is extremely high, being easily the fastest of all the students of Fujimori Academy.

  41. -- MAYUMI "SCHWARZ" SCHWARZSCHILD ---
  42.
  43. LEVEL: 14,0087
  44. CLASS: Grand Magus
  45. PROFESSION: History Professor/System Researcher
  46. GENDER: Female
  47. STAR SIGN: Ophicius
  48. BLOOD TYPE: Rh-Null
  49. AGE: 51
  50.
  51. The eccentric, well-known professor of history at the University, the third highest level person on the planet as of current, and the leading researcher of the System worldwide - it's a wonder she still has time to be a university professor! Well known across the world, especially after the System came into being, she leads research into the System itself, and has published many academic studies, reports, and even books about the System - including the worldwide bestseller "The World Tree," a compilation of her research into the many winding paths of the System's skill tree in order to help people pursue certain builds they want instead of having to blindly explore them without any clue what comes next in line. Despite her position of immense fame and her earth-shaking level of power, she still dutifully spends time as a history professor at the university and even regularly hangs around town, leading her to routinely meet many of the protagonists of our story, her carefree personality clashing with their sense of wonder at meeting one of the three most powerful people on the planet, though she seems to always treat herself like that she's really not that big of a deal in the grand scheme of things.
  52.
  53. Schwarz' personality is quite eccentric and odd for such a powerful individual, showing a sense of wonder and amusement at most things around her, especially with regards to the System. She has an extreme interest in the almost limitless possibilities of the System, often asking even complete strangers what their class is an what they're going to do with it, even when it wouldn't be quite expected or appropriate, such as when she's buying groceries or simply sitting around in public transit. Despite her overwhelming power, she mostly treats life like it was before the introduction of the System, taking the subway when she could easily teleport all the way over the St. Petersburg if she wanted, buying normal groceries despite her immense wealth, and, again, keeping up with her job as a history professor despite how she could easily devote all her time to researching the System instead. Despite this all however, she sees the System as an improvement on the world in that it allows new discoveries and methods dealing with problems in new ways, whereas before, people were drastically limited by who they were born to, where they lived, and similar things, which she always found annoying, believing that bright and skilled people could come from anywhere in the world, and that environmental and social factors are the only reason they were left behind before the beginning of the System. However, despite seeing the System as an improvement, she still recognizes the problems it's brought to the world, such as Monsters, Powermads, and even just those who use the new abilities and skills available to them in order to hurt or harm others rather than make the world a better place, but she recognizes this is just a natural consequence of the System, and sees it as something to be dealt with by humans, rather than blaming the System itself for all of it. She has near encyclopedic knowledge of the inner workings of the System, which is how she wrote the World Tree, of course, but she's always looking to expand her knowledge of various classes, tutoring many students to follow specific classes that are under-researched for the sake of the world's growing knowledge, claiming it will ensure that future generations will be able to better choose which paths to take within the System. Schwarz spends most of her great wealth on System research, but she's also prone to acts of philanthropy due to her belief that it's the priority of the especially wealthy to help those who are in need, and she has a particular distaste for billionaires, making sure that whenever she passes the billion US dollars mark to spend most of it on research or philanthropy rather than keeping it in her pocket, something which earns her praise. There have been a few times she's let it go past a billion, but only to ensure that she can spend more on certain projects that require more money - and it's very helpful to her that she continues to live as though she had a normal life despite her great wealth. She shows a prime sense of frugality when it comes to spending, even on major projects, and always seems to have money left over that spends for unknown ventures, due to how aside from her appearances in public, her personal life is shrouded in privacy.
  54.
  55. When it comes to the affairs of the System itself, she has countless thoughts on its nature and her personal build. When the System was first starting out, many people were hesitant to choose Magic classes due to the uncertainty of how magic functions (not helped by certain religious institutions such as the Catholic Church demonizing the Magic side of the System) and as a result the early days were polluted with Might classes instead, so she herself chose to focus solely on magic in order to better understand it and to hopefully clear away the negative preconceptions towards Magic, and generally it did, especially as the World Tree ended up having a section exclusively on the usage of magic and safe ways to do it. Due the ubiquity of the System as time went by, magic hate became less common, but her research into it and how she helped clear away people's thoughts on it early on is still valued as a contribution to the research of the System and further letting the world make peace with its presence. She also just has a general preference towards wizard type characters in fiction, such as Gandalf, Doctor Strange, and similar such characters, though she prefers when Magic has presence and awe to it rather than media like, say, Harry Potter, which treats it in a less grand fashion. She's aware of how this clashes with her own personal attitude and how casually she behaves, but she says her preferences in fiction are different from her preferences in reality - simple as that. She often is asked what she thinks of her insane levels of power - and furthermore questioned as to why she doesn't rule a country like President Mobaha or become a zealous hunter of criminals, powermads and monsters like the Tokyo Hero, she usually responds that those exciting lifestyles aren't really her thing, and she prefers to research and experiment - though she will of course deal with any threats that have the misfortune to be nearby while she's around, usually within seconds or less. She thinks extremely little of Powermads, believing that anyone who is so unstable to become an enemy of society just because they gained a few superpowers might as well be a 60s comic book villain, and she finds them to be the type of System user she despises, namely those who bullheadedly venture through the Tree rather than carefully thinking about where to take their build next, and believes that even if they do end up rehabilitated they won't really advance in society in a way that matters, due to their narrow view of the system in general. Her opinions on Monsters are more muddy, as she dislikes normal monsters due to how they move through the tree on pure instinct in most cases, but is fond of intelligent monsters because of the fact in order to choose the class system over more evolution, they must be thinking about builds and other ways of improving your form within the System. Lastly, her opinions on criminals are rather neutral, seeing them as just a natural result of the System the same way the invention of guns of course lead to armed robberies and similar activities, and believes it's still the task of society to make sure they don't disrupt any more innocent lives.
  56.
  57. Schwarz is a Grand Magus - the only one of her kind in the entire world - an extremely powerful Magic class that originates from the Mage route, being the final stage of the Magus branch - and she's to say the least curious what comes after Magus in line, further motivating her to advance her class. Due to how she doesn't often fight, and when she does it's usually over in instants, a lot of her powers and abilities are rather unclear, as she's shown summoning massive fireballs, freezing vast swathes of land, summoning mighty gusts of air, casting shadowy tendrils at her enemies, and releasing pillar-like beams of light from the sky around her. She keeps her own build private, claiming that it's because she doesn't want anybody will ill intents to try and replicate it, and as such her traits and stats are completely unknown, making it so that her full power is unknown to many - though it's at least certain she has an extremely high MP stat. Likewise, her Limits are unknown, but given her level she most likely has six Limits in total. She's mentioned she has one for each of the classical elements and one for light and darkness, but what they actually entail is very unknown.
  58.
  59. -- YORU KOUMOTO --
  60.
  61. LEVEL: 842
  62. CLASS: Twilight Knight
  63. PROFESSION: University Student
  64. GENDER: Female
  65. STAR SIGN: Aries
  66. BLOOD TYPE: [FILL]
  67. AGE: 22
  68.
  69. The famously gorgeous star student of the university, personal pupil of the world-renowned Professor Schwarz, and a girl whose stoic beauty is matched by her cunning mind - Yoru Koumoto. A famously beautiful girl at the university close by Fujimori Academy, and one of the Academy's shining stars back before she left three years ago, right before the System came into being. The System has done nothing to slow her ascent up the ranks when it comes to the students at the university, and if anything it's improved them, as she quickly became the personal student of the esteemed Professor Schwarz, a history professor, third-highest leveled person on the planet, and current leading researcher of the System and all its intricacies. While her cold attitude may be off putting to some, it hides a wonderfully intelligent girl who wants nothing more than to exceed the expectations others have placed on her, and become a leading scholar of both history and the System like her mentor. Despite being long graduated, she often spends time near Fujimori out of a sense of nostalgia, leading her to form minor relationships with several of the students.
  70.
  71. Yoru's personality is rather cold and stoic as mentioned above, and she has a persistent sense of professionalism in all her interactions, even casual ones, and overall carries the vibe of a disciplined honor student. Her mannerisms are extremely polite and she seems never to act rashly or recklessly - either when interacting with other people or when facing enemies on the field of combat - which she of course excels at, given her extremely high level in comparison to many of her peers - though it's likely her personal training by professor Schwarz plays a significant role in her success when it comes to leveling, a fact she isn't afraid to hide, often commenting that she wouldn't be where she is today where it not for Schwarz' skill as a teacher, which she claims is just as vital as a student's ability to learn from said teacher. She often talks about her academy in length even in normal, casual conversation, a fact which often offputs people she's speaking to. It's likely due to how in the original visual novel, she functioned as an advertisement for a university-based sequel, where she suddenly described many of the workings of her school in a casual conversation with essentially a complete stranger - and this odd scene created entirely for the sake of the audience thus lead to a bizarre personality trait once her story was expanded as a result of the Collapse. She is an extremely diligent student, working hard both to succeed in university and to level further, though she makes sure never to overwork herself, as she knows that overwork can make it so the quality of one's work becomes poorer and poorer rather than better and better, and she is always attempting to succeed - both for herself, but to fulfill the expectations of her family, her professor, and society itself. She carries an attitude that is extremely reverent of authority figures, which of course annoys and bothers [DELINQUET] quite a bit, and in turn she cares little for her outright disobedience of what society expects of her. In particular, she seems to revere professor Schwars more than even her family or the prime minister, which in turn leads to rumors that she is engaging in an illicit relationship with her professor, though this is unlikely - even if it does seem Yoru may have a crush of some form on her professor, it's unlikely somebody so respectful of society's laws would break said laws simply for the sake of her relationship with an admired figure, yes? Either way, she is generally respectful to her elders, a pristine picture of a Japanese student, at least in the eyes of society, and often comments that she is trying to send a message to girls younger than her to emulate her and find success within the walls of society, rather than take underhanded methods to succeed, though it is of course up to the opinions of others if this is a good outlook to have - generally, our heroes don't agree with her that much, even if they do admit she's rather cool and skilled in comparison to even many of the adults they've met.
  72.
  73. Yoru has a sense of artistry to her usage of her class much like Hikari and [PRINCE], and specifically built towards the Twilight Knight path both out of her own interest in using the power of both Light and Dark magic at the same time and out of Schwarz' advice to pursue an ill-researched path, which in this case was the Twilight Knight - there are many Classes which use both umbral and antumbral powers, but the Twilight Knight consistently polls low among the classes people have achieved across the world, so Schwarz was quite interested in seeing what would result. Yoru herself was quite curious as to the usage of both Light and Dark magic together due to how they're usually portrayed as competing, or even incompatible forces completely separate from one another - or at least cancelling each other out, and thus was even more happy than usual to follow Schwarz' advice and instructions for this particular class training. As she leveled her class, she came to appreciate both the soothing sensation of using the light and the powerful feeling of using the dark. She takes great care to train herself regularly in casting both magic and using her sword, not just to get EXP but also to further improve the practical effect of her combat skills, the same way she has spent time learning calligraphy and painting, as she recognizes that while the System makes it possible for anyone to fight so long as they have enough levels, those who truly know how to use their class are far superior, having come to understand its intricacies and hidden elements, rather than simply expecting their skills and stats to carry them to victory while they themselves have no idea how to actually use their class to its full potential. She somewhat looks down on those who refuse to learn or improve themselves, believing, like her tutor, that the ultimate goal of any human should be to reach their best self and become better than they were before, and that refusing to learn and improve makes them simple and blind in their aspect. For this reason, she shows a particular disdain to those who overly rely on the same strategy without trying to expand their abilities and learn new ways to deal with enemies that ignore their regular methods of fighting - she applies this not only to fighting with classes, but also playing games like chess or cards, which she's quite skilled with as well, having been interested in games ever since she was a child. She is extremely knowledgeable when it comes to culture and history, though not quite as much as her professor, she still has a broad range of knowledge, whether it's mythology, literature, and even more esoteric motifs such as the precise meanings of tarot cards and the significance of certain symbols and icons others would take for granted in comparison. Despite this, she does not look down upon people who some would call uncultured, as most things of culture are not vital to a person's life - instead she simply values those who are as interested in culture as her to a degree above other people, seeing them as more kindred spirits who share her interests and fascinations.
  74.
  75. Yoru is a Twilight Knight, a magic-combat class that uses the powers of Dark magic and Light magic hand in hand, creating an ominous synergy. She has an extremely even stat distribution, with the only stats in excess compared to the rest being MAG, due to the heavy magic costs of the abilities she's chosen for herself, CRS, the stat most associated with Dark and BLS, the stat most associated with Light. These abilities range from unleashing orbs of darkness which follow after opponents and explode into coronas of damaging light, being faster the higher their target's CRS stat and more damaging the higher their BLS stat, teleporting by descending into shadowy portals that appear on the ground, splitting herself into several afterimages made of light to spread out her damage, only returning to normal once all of them are destroyed, summoning pits of darkness which slow those who walk through them while releasing beams of light from within randomly, damaging those unlucky enough to be in position to be hit, protecting herself with a swirling bubble of darkness that reflects damage back in the form of sparkling orbs of light, creating a swirling barrier of darkness around herself and propelling herself with blasts of light to charge at enemies like a lancer, summoning small swirling orbs of darkness that absorb nearby ambient light to fire pinpoint beams of light at her enemies, and finally her trademark Helix Beams, twisting, helix pattern beams of swirling light and darkness mixed together, which do higher damage the higher your CRS and your BLS. Her weapon proficiency is limited to the Longsword - which is much of why the Twilight Knight is an underused class across the world, so she's taken exceptional care to learn how to fully utilize the power over her blade in combat - likewise, the class is limited to Light Armor (custom clothing) proficiency and she has had an extremely specialized outfit made to maximize her potential in armor so lacking in protection. Being at over 800 levels, she has access to 4 Limit slots, though only three of them are filled - she is waiting to fill her fourth slot until she knows which skill would be best for it. Her first limit is called Shadow Play, and it transforms her into a massive, spinning orb of light that casts shadowy copies of herself that will rapidly attack enemies with her sword and use her weaker skills. Her second limit is called Black Hole Bead, and it summons two massive, swirling orbs of darkness which float at her side, absorbing light from the environment to fire at her enemies in the form of flaming beads, as well as unleashing massive beams of light right before disappearing. Her final limit is called Twilight Judgment and it takes the form of creating a completely pitch black dome over her and her enemies, which will shortly fill up with bright yellow lights as though it were a massive dome, rapidly raining down the lights in the form of laser bolts at her enemies, only ending once all the lights have been expended.
