Typically arrogant attitude, which people sadly let you get away with, of assuming you can ignore trends or trajectories because you believe you have nothing to prove, without actually proving these concerns are unfounded when all available evidence suggests it is worth being concerned. (ie you dont think diversity poses a threat to you despite not having any claims to the contrary, without just assuming the status quo goes on). This isnt a calculated risk, it's a needless risk for no reward but at the likely expense of everything

Of course, you never extend this courtesy to another. Everyone must prove themselves to you despite your inability to make empirical claims with any weight. IE you just dismiss the realities of diversity, backed with nothing. This is not only failing to deal with the point but sometimes goes even further. You sometimes even pretend to know their position and the outcomes better than they do even, the opposite attitude.

Always an evasion of some kind.
