- PLAYER B
- PLAYER A/B: Both start out with 100 hp. Players can gain shields, of varying types to modify this, or they can be "replaced" by a different figure, with possibly different hp.
- Front row: Front row cards are the only ones you can attack directly, assuming there are any. If a card's attack is 10, and it attacks a front row card with 6 hp, it deals the remaining 4 damage to the back row card, or the player, if there is no back row card directly after it.
- A card with the effect Guard, placed on Front Row will force attacks to be targeted towards it, and block said "piercing damage" even if it is killed. A back row Guard, does not share the second effect.
- Back Row: Back Row cards can activate their abilities freely, but may not attack. Unless an enemy minion is on your own front row (via Unleash the Mongrels) or similar effects. Caster type summons can attack from the back row, but they will take double damage.
- Piercing damage deals to the back row, is dealt to the enemy player.
- Another simple rule, involves high level summons.
- This way, level 4 summons cannot be made on turn 2, level 5 summons cannot be made until turn 3, level 6 summons cannot be made until turn 4, level 7 and 8 until turn 6 and level 9 until turn 7. The only level 10 summons are the Hero Cards, representing the players, and can only be made on turn 10. All of these can be manipulated with various effects.
- Now, moving onto the card.
