Whether or not Yuii was actually telling the truth or just lying to spare his feelings did not matter one bit, Tessu was just happy she was not leaving, and his relief was visibly written across his entire face; once again he was unable to mask his emotions around her. Following suit, Tessu too relaxed himself by sitting next to her on the bed, his back pressed up against the wall beside her. He could sense a certain reluctance coming from her, for she would no longer look him in the eye - yet who could really blame her for that? Of course there WAS always the possibility that she was still exhausted from the serious physical pain she was still dealing with, coupled with the extreme amount of energy she had just exerted - but something else was present in the room, a sort of tension or awkwardness that Tessuhai had most likely created due to his rude outburst moments ago; no simple apology could fix such a horrible display behavior so quickly.

With his head turned away from her, yet the glass still held up about shoulder level, the sudden shift in weight caused him to turn his head in her direction. A small smile curled the corner of his left lip, as he observed her chugging down the drink. Finally, after what felt like eons, she had accepted the refreshment and was getting the much needed liquid intake her body so desired. The sound of the straw sucking air as she surprisingly gulped down the entire beverage, was a clear indication she had already emptied the cup's contents. Leaning up, Tessu casually set the juice glass on floor before retaking his previous position on the bed.

As usual the contact between the two of them, as her body leaned into his, caused his face to burn brighter than the candle that was currently lighting his bedroom. Taking a nervous swallow, he was shocked by her generous offer and compliance. He never dreamed she would actually give in and compromise, he figured she would just continue to push forward with her stubborn attitude like normal.

"Is..is that even possible?" He asked, hesitantly, still a bit curious as to how her plan would actually work. How much of the pain would actually be split between the pair - would it be 50/50...or would she secretly receive a higher amount just to protect him?

After a few minutes of deep thinking, Tessu finally came to the conclusion that no amount of negotiation would sway her from this arrangement - shoot, he was just lucky she was willing to bend a little bit, he hadn't anticipated her cooperation. "O..okay." He whispered, his hand slowly sliding across the bed reaching for hers; their fingers would intertwine and lock, forming one lopsided, disproportionate fist. He was unsure how she would react to him holding her hand, but he felt this to be an appropriate gesture solidifying their agreement; though in Tessu's heart of hearts it was more about their friendship than anything else.

Nodding his head again, he chuckled lightly under his breath. "Alright, I will make sure to bring back a pitcher of juice. Plus, maybe something sweet to eat, too!" He laughed, crossing his fingers in hopes the tower kitchens had something that would put a dent in her sweet tooth.

Yuii snuggled into the crook of him arm and sighed. Her fingers had the most intense feeling of pins and needles that was crawling up her arms like a billion little crabs. Wrist, forearm, elbow and all the way up to her shoulder tingled in turn. Following that was an itch that would have driven her crazy any other day but was a near relief. It was the difference between a stinging cut and putting her arm through a meat grinder; she couldn't help but sigh happily.

Without the pain, exhaustion sunk in along with a little bit of shock. For the first time since she had crossed the Wind country border she felt a chill that crawled along her spine with icy talons. She shivered and felt the hairs of her arms rise in response. "Hey look," she laughed, holding up her pebbled arm for him to see,"look what it's doing. Hah, silly arm, it's not cold." She gave out a great yawn then giggled and snuggled herself a little closer for warmth. She probably could have slept at that moment.

Was it possible? Probably if she didn't complete the symbols from earlier. Would she do that? well that was a good question. She was still kind of mad at him for before and it would serve him right to trick him. His face would probably be priceless when she took all the shock again, and he'd feel super guilty, except that she'd probably black out so bad she wouldn't be able to even enjoy it! So then, what was the point of that? None, that was the answer, there was no point in tricking him into letting her hurt herself. Where was the logic in that?

With a sleepy nod of her head in answer she gave some more thought to that. There was a chance she would be wrong even if she did opt for the sharing and one or the other of them would end up hurting more. If that was true, did she really want to risk putting HIM in more pain? Was making sure that seal was completely over taken that important? Then again, who knew what that malicious energy made him do, it wasn't worth the risk either.

She gave a great yawn then started as she felt his fingers interlock with hers. Wait, had he just agreed? Just like that? No questions or promises? Well, if he wanted to trust her that much, fine. She gave his hand a pat, not at all concerned but it. If he hadn't figured out she had little in the way of personal boundaries, he wasn't far off from that moment.

She could have slept right at that moment, it was kind of peaceful. "Oh, bring two at least!" she chimed, awakened by the prospect of food. Then, much slower she added, "Hey Te-kun? You usually bring half naked girls into your room then hold their hands? You are such a playboy." She didn't mean it but she waited expectantly for the sputtering reaction it'd get.

"I'll do the next one after a nap~"
