            Mr_Wilt "Hmm." Lloyd folds the suit back up, heading over towards the monster. Does it happen to be wearing anything under all that junk?
            PresidentEvil   Nope!

            PresidentEvil   Arthur, the pumps and wires appear to be connected to some kind of battery pack. Cables and hydraulic lines snake off into the limbs.
            Alivi   Eriko looks at Arthur
            Mr_Wilt Fair enough, then. Lloyd turns his attention to the other lockers. Are they locked close?
            Wogglebug       "It's run off this battery..." He takes a closer look at the battery. Does it look magic?
            PresidentEvil   Nope. Does he open one?
            Mr_Wilt He does.
            Snowshoe        "Hey, Taggart, your nose alright?"
            PresidentEvil   It looks like a large and relatively utilitarian battery pack. Any markings have been obscured by blood and foul-smelling organic gunk.
            TheRaven        "Huh? Yeah, should be fine. If it was something in the air I'd be the only one not bleeding."
            Wogglebug       Arthur tries to remove it.
            PresidentEvil   Some are empty, some one has a faded, barely-visible pinup taped to the inside of the door. But there's nothing of interest/
            PresidentEvil   Unless you want more hardhats and ratty jumpsuits.
            Snowshoe        Alex looks around the room.
            AgentFlowers    Satisfied the thing is neutralized, Lily looks around the room.
            Mr_Wilt Lloyd looks for a better-conditioned jumpsuit and possibly an ID of sorts.
            Mr_Wilt Lily and Alex might notice Lloyd is pillaging lockers, having already acquired a hat and a shitty jumpsuit.
            PresidentEvil   He can barely get two fingers in between the cables and other stuff.
            PresidentEvil   Nothing of interest, Lloyd. Lily and Alex are, once again, drawn to the blinking green light.
            Snowshoe        Alex walks closer to the light.
            TheRaven        Taggart replaces his gas mask. "So, what now?"
            Wogglebug       Arthur uses his tools.
            Mr_Wilt Darn. "Okay, I think I have an idea," announces Lloyd.
            Alivi   "…wel..."
            PresidentEvil   Alex, the light just says "DOOR". It's situated below a heavy lever.
            PresidentEvil   Roll engineering Arthur.
            Mr_Wilt He strips off his various tool kits and kicks off his shoes before attempting to climb into the jumpsuit.
            Snowshoe        "Light over here's got a lever on it, says 'door'. What do we want to do with this?"

            Wogglebug       He investigates it closer, wiping it down with a rag.
            Mr_Wilt Or smaller, depending?
            PresidentEvil   It's a nickel metal hydride industrial battery pack, no voltage or capacity listed.
            AgentFlowers    Lily comes up beside Alex. "It's probably for that blast door in the hall."
            Alivi   Eriko looks around and goes near Lily
            Snowshoe        "Dunno what it's for, just wondering if we want to pull it or not. We'd probably want to have a look around beforehand, I think."
            PresidentEvil   Lloyd, these jumpsuits have been moldering for decades. They'll probably disintigrate if you try and wear one.
            Wogglebug       "It's a battery. Not much else about it. Certainly not enough to do that."
            TheRaven        "Keep it handy, it might be useful."
            Wogglebug       "Right-o."
            Wogglebug       Arthur stows the battery.
            AgentFlowers    "Taggart, come over here. I think we've got the switch for that blast door."
            Mr_Wilt Lloyd frowns, deciding to try to step out of the jumpsuit and put everything back on. "Does anybody have any tape?"
            Wogglebug       Arthur hands Lloyd some duct tape.
            Alivi   Eriko wanders back towards the door.
            TheRaven        He walks over to Lily. "Figure we should stay in here and pull it, in case there's more of those inside." He motions to the dead...thing.
            Mr_Wilt "Thank you." He does his best to rip the logo away from the rest of the outfit, then tries to tape it to his chest.
            PresidentEvil   Lloyd now has a logo crudely duct taped to his chest.
            Mr_Wilt Lloyd is proud of himself. He hands to duct tape back to Arthur, then rejoins the group with his hard hat and chest-logo.
            AgentFlowers    "Five bucks says there's an army of them in there."
            Wogglebug       Arthur re-stows the Duct Tape
            Alivi   She looks into the hallway
            Snowshoe        Alex stays by his lever, ready to pull in case of idiocy.
            Wogglebug       "It's entirely possible."
            Mr_Wilt "I'm prepared."
            Wogglebug       "However... with such a force, one would imagine that some sort of control system would exist."
            Wogglebug       "Like pits of acid, or brain bugs."
            AgentFlowers    "Eriko, stay with the group."
            TheRaven        "That's what grenades are for."
            Alivi   "Ah…sorry…" She goes back near Lily.
            Wogglebug       "Grenades can only kill so many."
            Mr_Wilt "Well, I'm hoping my plan'll work in preventing them from attacking. At least me, anyways."
            Mr_Wilt "If anything, it could provide a momentary lapse of judgement and confusion."
            Snowshoe        Alex yawns, hiding it behind a hand. "So, that lever..."
            AgentFlowers    "Might as well pull it."
            Snowshoe        Alex waits for confirmation.
            TheRaven        "Do it."
            Snowshoe        He pulls the lever.
            Wogglebug       Arthur sighs a bit.
            Wogglebug       Arthur searches the control panel for a kill-switch.

            PresidentEvil   The green light flickers for a moment, then the doors begin to ponderously rumble open.
            PresidentEvil   There's another screeching of metal, and the left half grinds to a halt, but the right continues.
            PresidentEvil   After about 30 seconds, the door grinds to a halt.

            AgentFlowers    Lily keeps her gun trained on the door in case Husks or some shit start running out.

            Snowshoe        Alex prepares to re-flip the lever.

            Mr_Wilt Lloyd peaks his head under the opening and cautiously calls out. "..hello?"
            TheRaven        "...well, there goes the stealthy approach."

            Snowshoe        Alex decides the lever can take care of itself and goes to make sure Lloyd doesn't die.
            Wogglebug       Does Arthur see anything useful on the panel?
            AgentFlowers    "Goddammit Lloyd..."
            PresidentEvil   The light pauses, for a moment, then flicks off.
            PresidentEvil   Nothing, Arthur.
            Wogglebug       "Huh."
            Snowshoe        He stands a few feet behind Lloyd.
            Mr_Wilt "You all would have turned your flashlights on as soon as you got in, anyways."
            Wogglebug       Arthur wouldn't have.
            AgentFlowers    "Taggart, I'm going to start hitting Lloyd soon. I'm not sure when I'll stop."

            Mr_Wilt Lloyd points to Arthur and makes a sort of 'I told you so' face to Lily.

            Wogglebug       Arthur draws his gun.
            Alivi   Eriko moves towards the back of the group. Everyone else are the fighters anyways.
            PresidentEvil   After a few seconds a voice calls out.
            TheRaven        Taggart mutters. "Oh, sod it." He turns to the door and loudly speaks. "Who's there?"
            PresidentEvil   "...If you seal the door up again, we'll let you go on your way."
            PresidentEvil   A woman, she sounds cautious.
            Mr_Wilt "And if one of us attempts to come in?"
            Wogglebug       "Lloyd, silent."
            PresidentEvil   "We'll defend ourselves."
            TheRaven        "Who are you?"
            Mr_Wilt "I'm willing to surrender my firearm in order for us to hold council."
            Wogglebug       Arthur motions everyone silent.
            PresidentEvil   A male voice yells "Fuck off!" and another female voice shooshes him.
            Wogglebug       Arthur indicates for Taggart to do the talking.
            Snowshoe        Alex remains behind Lloyd, but lowers his gun.
            Alivi   Eriko goes near Taggart.
            TheRaven        "I don't know what you're expecting in here, but we're human!"
            PresidentEvil   "Look, we understand, and we're sorry if you're hungry or something, but we're not going to stick our necks out for you. Close the door and go scavenge somewhere else, okay?"
            Mr_Wilt "We're not scavengers, but uh, I have things to offer you in exchange for letting us come in and talk."
            Wogglebug       Arthur smacks Lloyd.
            Alivi   Eriko looks at Lloyd, "Shhh..."
            AgentFlowers    "We're not scavengers. I'm Master Corporal Lily Macdonald."
            Wogglebug       Arthur facepalms.
            PresidentEvil   "...Like what?"
            PresidentEvil   She replies to Lloyd.
            Wogglebug       Arthur leans over to Taggart. He whispers. "We need the to think we're above them."
            Mr_Wilt "A ball of underused rubber bands, Marlboro cigarettes, water purification tablets, gum, dentures, and a pornographic magazine. Featuring both sexes."
            PresidentEvil   Lloyd swears he can hear someone facepalm.
            TheRaven        "...you're shitting me."
            Mr_Wilt Lloyd shrugs at Taggart. "I literally brought it for this exact reason."
            Snowshoe        Alex continues standing behind Lloyd, though he now regrets choosing this position.
            Alivi   "…Lloyd..."
            AgentFlowers    "...That one isn't a soldier, ignore him."
            Wogglebug       Arthur tosses Snow duct tape.
            Snowshoe        Alex catches it, then shrugs at Arthur, a 'what do you want me to do' clear in the gesture.
            Wogglebug       Arthur nods at Snow.
            Wogglebug       He gestures at Lloyd with his head.
            Wogglebug       He covers his own mouth with his hand.
            TheRaven        "We've got ammo to trade, and we're willing to help you."
            Snowshoe        Alex leans closer to Lloyd and whispers. "You seem to be doing a fine job to me, but I've just been handed a roll of duct tape and told to apply it to your face if you don't stop talking."
            PresidentEvil   "...We're willing to trade food for medical supplies. Take it or leave it."
            Snowshoe        He perks up at 'medical supplies'.
            Wogglebug       Arthur nods quickly at Taggart.
            AgentFlowers    "We'll do you one better, we've got a doctor."
            Mr_Wilt "I actually have a whole first-aid kit, too."
            Wogglebug       Arthur squints at Snow.
            Snowshoe        Alex sighs, then taps Lloyd. "Taggart's got it handled. Either we go back over to them right now, or I duct tape you."
            Mr_Wilt Lloyd sighs and heads back.
            Snowshoe        Alex follows.
            Alivi   Eriko fidgets
            Snowshoe        He tosses the duct tape back to Arthur.
            PresidentEvil   "...Send your doctor up to the door, we have a wounded man."
            PresidentEvil   "If you know how to set a bone, we're willing to part with food or ammo."
            TheRaven        "We're good for ammo, I think. Alex, you're up."
            AgentFlowers    "We've got plenty of supplies, we'll do it gratis."
            Snowshoe        Alex approaches the door, stopping at the threshold. He looks inside.

            Snowshoe        Alex blinks, then drops the shotgun. He points towards his pistol. "Got another one, you alright if I drop that too?"
            Alivi   Eriko looks at Alex, then to the others
            PresidentEvil   "Keep your hands away from it. Step through the door."
            Snowshoe        He nods, raises his hands, and steps through the door.
            Snowshoe        If he can, he makes sure the shotgun lands on the outside of the door, not the inside.
            PresidentEvil   You manage to get a good look at the three... Jesus, this place has been rough on them.
            PresidentEvil   All three look emaciated, and the man is cradling an obviously very broken arm. Medical to diagnose.

            Alivi   "we did..."
            Alivi   she says quietly.
            PresidentEvil   Nothing to it, Alex.
            PresidentEvil   The man speaks up. "Bullshit. Even if there was an outside, it doesn't exist anymore."
            Snowshoe        Alex finishes splinting, then raises his hands and steps back again. "That feel alright?"
            TheRaven        "It's a bit more complicated than that."
            AgentFlowers    "We're a scouting party. Paramilitary."
            Wogglebug       Arthur considers how long it would take to explain dimensional theories to these people.

            PresidentEvil   "Okay, you guys don't seem very harmless. Or clued in. You can come through if you want."
            Snowshoe        "Can I drop my hands now?"
            Alivi   "We can?"
            PresidentEvil   "Yeah, guy, you can drop your hands."
            PresidentEvil   "Yeah."
            Snowshoe        Alex drops his hands, then goes to recover his gun.
            Alivi   Eriko smiles, "Thank you..."
            AgentFlowers    Lily lowers her weapon and enters, nearly six feet of BDUs and webbing in combat boots.
            Alivi   Eriko enters as well
            Mr_Wilt Lloyd trails behind.
            TheRaven        Taggart steps forward hesitantly.
            Wogglebug       Arthur sticks near Taggart, trying to seem follower-y. It's very easy.
            Snowshoe        Assuming nobody tries to shoot him, Alex picks his shotgun back up. He re-enters the group.
            PresidentEvil   One of the women has a mohawk. She seems to be the leader. "Okay, I feel bad for you guys, but I've gotta be honest: there is. No. Outside."
            PresidentEvil   "I don't care what you've heard, or you've read. Doesn't exist. Probably never did to begin with."
            Alivi   "…But…"
            Mr_Wilt "We've not heard anything."
            Alivi   Eriko looks confused.
            Alivi   She looks at the others
            PresidentEvil   "Bullshit. One of you found an old book, or a vid on a terminal. Or some wandering nutcase told you he's been past the old airlocks."
            Mr_Wilt "We also didn't come from an outside you might be familiar with. It's complicated and would probably only serve to make everything confusing."
            PresidentEvil   "Prove it."
            AgentFlowers    "I told you, we're a paramilitary scouting party. I'm Agent MacDonald, this is Agent Taggart."
